HP: The New God from Hogwarts

Chapter 229 Draco is scared to death

It will take some time for the results of the Goblet of Fire selection to come out. Classes are still going on as usual. Hogwarts has also set up some open courses for students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons to sit in on.

For example, in Newt's Care of Magical Creatures class, this kind of knowledge written in a best-selling book does not need to be kept secret. Another example is Snape's Potions class. This guy is so mean that almost no students from other schools are willing to come and audit.

Tao Wu decided to go to the ice base on Fenris Island before the competition. The professors were already accustomed to her skipping classes, and no one cared where she was going.

The isolated island in the Arctic Ocean is covered with ice and snow all year round. A biting cold wind is howling on the vast white island, and a group of researchers wearing thick cotton clothes are busy at work.

Grindelwald stood by, with an open notebook floating in front of him and a feather pen writing something on it. Wenda walked with the staff, holding a notebook in his hand and writing something on it.

Tao Wu curiously leaned over to take a look. Wenda was recording the data test, and on Grindelwald's notebook, there was -

Harry, give my regards to your headmaster...

Grindelwald glanced at her sideways and said, "Shouldn't you be attending classes at Hogwarts? Why are you here?"

"I skipped class." Tao Wu looked at the researchers running in the snow, "I feel like something is going to happen soon, and I need to discuss some things with Mr. Bird and his wife."

"Is there anything that can't be said with a two-way mirror and a letter?" Grindelwald waved his hand nonchalantly, and the notebook slowly closed by itself, and flew into the pocket of his black coat along with the quill.

Tao Wu took out the brass mirror with a carved frame from her pocket. The mirror surface seemed to be covered with a layer of gray mist. "The two-way mirror and the owl message should have been monitored. There is a witch hunter inside the Ministry of Magic, so I still plan to come here in person."

"Wizard traitor?" Grindelwald narrowed his eyes, then turned to look at her, "Do you need me to do anything?"

"Yes." Tao Wu turned and walked towards the base research center. Her voice was lost in the wind and snow. "But not now."

Grindelwald followed her with his hands in his pockets and walked into the door of the research center together.

Mr. Bird, who was busy, looked up and said, "Luna? Why are you here at this time? But you came at the right time."

He stood in front of the table, with a piece of draft paper full of characters in front of him: "There is a piece of data here that I can't match. Come and take a look."

Tao Wu immediately walked over and looked at the data circled by Mr. Bird with a frown. The memories of her previous life suddenly flooded into her mind. She took the pencil from Mr. Bird, scribbled on the draft paper, gave a correct answer, and then pushed the draft paper towards Bird.

"So that's how it is!" Mr. Bird suddenly realized. He frowned and looked at Tao Wu. "To be honest, Luna, you make me feel that you are not a little wizard, but an old researcher with many years of research experience in the Ammunition Research Center."

She gave her best friend's father an inscrutable smile and said, "Maybe I am."

Bird smiled and shook his head: "How old are you? Maybe you are just a genius."

He continued, "The technology of the flash intercontinental missile is already fully mature. The last time it was targeted to strike the Paris Sauk Mountains, it was the first experimental missile. I heard from Xia that the first test product was very successful."

"Yes, that test piece helped a lot."

"That's good." Bird looked up at his wife who was operating the instrument in the glass window. "That thing can destroy the Earth we live on five times. Do you really plan to build it?"

"Yes, the value of this thing is not to destroy, but to make people fear it. We don't need weapons, but we must have it. When it is born in the sea, we will have the right to speak in the true sense."

She followed Mr. Bird's gaze and looked at Mrs. Bird, her eyes full of admiration: "I really didn't expect you to be able to create intercontinental missiles and this secret weapon. In the Muggle world, the Nobel Prize is not too much."

"You're too kind. I'm not interested in these external names. My husband and I just want to live a peaceful life with Xia." When Mr. Bird talked about his wife and daughter, his serious brows softened. "All the researchers here are the same. They are all for their children."

"Xia is a lucky little girl." Tao Wu looked at Mr. Bird with a smile.

Bird laughed, then got down to business: "You must be here for something important today. Is there something going to happen recently?"

"The activities of witch hunters and Death Eaters have been particularly frequent recently. I think there will be a big move next, during the Triwizard Tournament."

"What preparations do we need to make?" Mr. Bird asked gently.

"For long-range strikes, I need intercontinental missiles." Tao Wu looked at Grindelwald behind him, "as well as Mr. Grindelwald and his saints."

Bird nodded, "I will prepare as much as possible. As for Mr. Grindelwald and the Saint, we should have enough manpower here."

"We're going to Hogwarts?" Grindelwald crossed his arms and looked at Tao Wu with a frown, "Are you sure we won't scare those students and the headmaster whose half body is buried in the ground to death?"

"Of course you can't go in directly through the main door." Tao Wu gave him a look as if he was an idiot.

She dragged out a pitch-black iron cabinet from her handbag, which had been cast with a traceless extension charm.

Grindelwald: ...

On the other side, in the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts.

"Are you sure you've fixed it?" Harry asked Draco, looking at the black iron cabinet in front of him.

"Not sure, let me try again." Draco took out a lively little bird from his pocket and put it in the cabinet.

In the blink of an eye, the bird disappeared.

The next second, Tao Wu walked out of the closet holding the chirping bird.

"It looks like it was successful."

"It's similar to a portkey." Harry tapped the cabinet twice with his fingers.

This is the thing called the Vanishing Cabinet that Draco got from Borgin and Burke. He has been repairing this strange cabinet for the past week, and Harry has been following him out of curiosity.

"Who exactly are you going to teleport?" Draco kept asking Tao Wu, wondering who the Vanishing Cabinet was going to teleport to Hogwarts.

Harry guessed about 70% of it and he was already looking forward to it.

Tao Wu did not answer Draco's question, but pointed at the Vanishing Cabinet and looked at him and Harry: "Do you dare to try?"

"Of course." Harry smiled, walked into the Vanishing Cabinet, and disappeared on the spot.

Draco was stunned for a moment, thinking that if Harry dared, there was nothing he could not dare, so he gritted his teeth and walked in.

When he pushed open the dark cabinet door and saw the old man standing next to Harry with his hands behind his back, his eyes went dark, his legs went weak, and he almost knelt down.

"G...Grindelwald!"
