HP: The New God from Hogwarts

Chapter 223: Even Gold Miners Can’t Dig Out Such Divine Gold

The Quidditch World Cup ended hastily like a farce.

A new school year at Hogwarts is about to begin.

Tao Wu was devastated to find out that this was only the fourth grade. If she had known earlier, she would have joined the class in the fifth grade.

As soon as she reached the foot of the castle's stone door steps, Cedric trotted over to her side: "Hey, Luna, I think in the last movie, if Jack could use the stretching spell on the board, they could both climb onto the board and survive together."

Tao Wu helplessly put his hand on his forehead. Many days had passed, and he was still wondering how the hero and heroine in the Muggle movie managed to escape successfully without a lifeboat after the ship hit an iceberg.

"Ced, first of all, they are Muggles. Secondly, if magic can be used, who would want to enlarge the board? Can't we use Apparition or Transfiguration to turn the board into a yacht? Why do we have to lie on the board?"

Cedric thought for a moment, "You have a point."

Several Ravenclaw girls smiled and greeted Sikleia who was not far behind Taowu, then greeted her and Cedric, and hurried past them in groups.

Peeves suddenly came out from the wall and threw water bombs at the girls in an attempt to play a trick on them.

The Ravenclaw girls reacted immediately and used defensive spells quickly. Several girls cast spells together to perfectly resist Peeves' pranks from all directions.

Peeves is off looking for a new target to play pranks on.

He set his target on Neville, who seemed a bit cowardly in the past, but unexpectedly Neville snatched away several water bombs and took the real bomb from the little ghost next to him and chased Peeves to bomb it.

After his parents recovered, Neville was no longer the same Neville with the help of Harry and Ron.

Peeves gave up Neville in a panic and went to look for a new target to play a prank on. When he saw Taowu, he shrank his neck and flew past her quickly, fearing that she would look at him any longer.

Cedric laughed and teased, "Peeves looks really embarrassed. I wonder if he has angered the Bloody Baron again."

"He didn't anger the Bloody Baron, he angered the Gryffindor Swordmaster. I'm really worried that he'll commit suicide one day, like Headless Nick, and get his head chopped off by a Gryffindor student with a sword. But he won't die even if his head is chopped off."

Tao Wu knew that Peeves was afraid of her, so she didn't bother to pay attention to him. She, Omnis and Sebastian had played a lot of tricks on this guy in the past, and he even learned some of his current pranks from her.

The second person he fears is Slytherin's ghost, the Bloody Baron. His first fear is naturally Hufflepuff's living Peach Mist.

Peeves was floating in the air, his nasty eyes fixed on a lone girl. She was wearing a Ravenclaw uniform and had no friends around her.

He threw the water bomb at the girl: "Little golden-haired monster who's alone, take my bomb!"

The blue balloon hit the girl's head and exploded with a bang, soaking her hair and school uniform. People around her screamed and avoided her, fearing that they would be targeted by Peeves and end up soaked.

She froze in place.

Peeves had found an easy target. He had no intention of letting go of this girl who had no friends to protect her and did not use her magic wand to resist. He threw a few more water bombs at the girl: "Hehehe, take a few more of my shots!"

The girl was hit hard by a balloon filled with water. The cold and tough balloon hit her forehead heavily, leaving an obvious red mark, just like those girls who didn't like her hit her on the head with ice. The cold water soaked her again, and her light golden hair hung on both sides of her cheeks in wisps.

Several girls from the same college and even the same grade looked at her and ran past her laughing. No one stopped to stop Peeves for her, and no one even said a word of greeting.

She smiled and continued walking forward, wiping the water off her face with her wet sleeves, but her sleeves were wet to begin with, so how could she wipe the water off her face? It would only make her face wetter, making her look even more disheveled.

It doesn’t matter, we’re used to it anyway, right?

"Don't run, or I'll shoot you again!"

Peeves ran after the girl, yelling at the top of his lungs again.

But his luck won't last forever.

His loud and proud voice attracted Tao Wu, whom he feared the most.

"What's wrong with this Peeves?" Tao Wu complained impatiently to the Peeves who made the noise, and turned in the direction of the sound, "Gold miners can't dig out such magical gold as him!"

Cedric couldn't help but laugh at her description.

Tao Wu turned around and saw school bullying——

Peeves used his homemade water bombs to madly attack a soaking wet Ravenclaw girl, and also hit one or two younger children who were passing by and had no time to dodge.

But his main target was still the girl with light blonde hair who did not resist.

Tao Wu waved her wand and Peeves was bound by red chains. Then, he was hung upside down at the entrance of the castle.

His eyes happened to meet Snape who was walking in. Snape looked at the hanging Peeves, and then saw Taowu and the wet girl not far away, and he knew what was going on.

Peeves pretended to cry to Snape, "That Hufflepuff played a trick on me. Professor, you have to take care of me! Wuuwuwu——"

Snape reached into his pocket, took out a garlic and stuffed it into Peeves' mouth, but it didn't go through and fall in!

His curiosity was overflowing, so he took another garlic and stuffed it into Peeves' mouth, and then he stuffed it in again. He touched another garlic, and now he wanted to know how many garlics could be stuffed into Peeves' mouth.

Tao Wu no longer cared about Peeves because the elderly Snape suddenly became playful.

Her eyes turned to the girl who was bullied by Peeves. She felt that the girl looked familiar with her pale and cold face and long light golden hair.

Suddenly I remembered, isn't this the girl whose name was spelled the same way as someone else's, Luna Lovegood from Ravenlock!

Luna tidied up her wet hair and clothes, and thanked Taowu politely: "Thank you for your help, senior."

Tao Wu glanced at the soaked copy of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" in her backpack, and remembered that this girl was also an avid fan of magical animals, but because her personality was as weird and withdrawn as Newt's when he was a child, she was isolated and bullied, and no one came to her aid when she encountered difficulties.

Her wand gently swept across Luna's clothes, and Luna's hair and clothes instantly became dry again.

"If you are bullied again, you can--"

Tao Wu approached Luna and took out the book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" from her bag.

"Go find Professor Scamander. If he's not here, you can meet me in the Hufflepuff common room."
