There is no need to even develop a baseband. You can just take the baseband from Kunpeng 500 and plug it into 700, thus saving yourself a huge problem.

For Kunpeng 500, not only the CPU and GPU need to be developed, but also the baseband needs to be successfully integrated! This greatly increases the difficulty, and is even more difficult than the 28-nanometer 700.
