Hogwarts: Slytherin Kiss

Chapter 46 Dating Holy Land

When get out of class was over, Indra just wanted to leave as soon as possible and go to the West Tower to let the ancient runes cleanse her brain.

But Hagrid called out to her and Draco, seemingly hesitant and troubled.

"What's wrong Hagrid?"

Hagrid's face hidden under his messy beard was a little embarrassed.

"Do you remember Buckbeak? He accidentally broke into the centaurs' territory and got a little injured. I've been taking care of him for a while, and he's getting better! I mean. But I've been busy lately because I have to deal with some …”

"You want us to take care of it?" Draco said calmly.

Hagrid nodded, "Yes, it likes you very much." His eyes paused on Indra,

"Just give it some medicine and give it some food... Of course, in the Forbidden Forest..."

"Forbidden Forest! Do you want us to die?" Draco immediately asked unhappily.

Indra took Draco's wrist and said to Hagrid, "Why don't you take it outside the hut and take care of it?"

Hagrid said sadly, "Its feet and wings were injured. I tried to use the levitation spell to move it over, but it resisted..."

"Okay, how long do we need to take care of it? How often do we go there?" Indra liked Buckbeak very much, and she couldn't bear to have it injured and no one to take care of it.

Moreover, she has never been to the Forbidden Forest. If Hagrid leads the way, it should be much safer to stay near the Hippogriff?

"It takes a week, just go there every other day." Hagrid looked at them longingly.

"Let's go? How about it?" Indra shook Draco's hand and looked up at him expectantly.

"Okay, go ahead. Final marks..." Draco muttered knowingly.

Hagrid coughed, "I am a fair teacher! But...if you take good care of injured magical animals, you should get a little extra points..."

Indra smiled silently, and the matter was settled.

"You don't have any classes next, right? I'll take you there to see the way around." Hagrid said, "I'll also teach you how to change Buckbika's dressing."

"Yes, the next section is Ancient Runes, after Runes is Potions, and after Potions is Defense Against the Dark Arts. Will we come back to you after we finish Defense Against the Dark Arts?"

"Oh my god...okay."

So Indra and Draco hurried to the next class.

Today's Defense Against the Dark Arts class was a theory class. After class, Indra and Draco left the castle and walked through the vegetable patch towards Hagrid's hut.

Hagrid had already prepared things, a basket of meat and several bottles and cans, and then led the two of them towards the Forbidden Forest.

Indra and Draco held the medicine jar in their arms, sniffing it to find out what it was made of. The smell inside was like mud, which was inconsistent with any medicine or potion they knew.

"This is made from unicorn poop and stem mucus. It's a very crude recipe, but it works," Hagrid explained.

Draco immediately wrinkled his nose and held it further away.

Indra was also more cautious and looked around the Forbidden Forest distractedly. She had never been here before. After all, Dumbledore said this was a very dangerous place.

And Draco said that there are werewolves, vampires, giant spiders, etc. in here, and Professor Lupine's Xinkpunk was captured from here.

The forest was very dense, dim and eerie, with every tree reaching straight into the sky, and the fresh vines and dead branches and leaves underfoot made rustling sounds.

Hagrid's big feet marked the outline of a path on the ground, so there was no need to worry about getting lost.

But Indra thought she had another spell that she might be able to use, but couldn't.

A spell to prevent getting lost and to return the same way.

After walking for about twenty minutes, Indra saw Buckbeak. He was lying under a big tree. His white and gray fur and wings were still shining, but the wings and talons were covered with Magic bandage.

Buckbeak tilted his head and let out a chirp, seeming to recognize Indra and Draco.

But it wanted to eat the meat in Hagrid's arms more, and stretched its neck to look in his direction.

"Its wings were pierced by the centaur's bow and arrow." Hagrid said, lifting a piece of meat and throwing it at Buckbeak.

"Do I need to salute now?" Draco asked lazily, grabbing Indra who was about to walk over directly.

Hagrid: "Well, I don't think it's necessary..."

Indra said happily, "Haha, it can't even give you a gift in return now."

If Buckbeak could understand human language, he would probably give her the same embarrassed look that Draco did.

Hagrid instructed the two of them how to remove the bandage, clean the wound briefly, apply a layer of medicine, and finally replace it with a new bandage.

After a busy trip, more than twenty minutes passed, and the forest was completely dark.

From time to time, there are sounds of unknown creatures coming from a distance.

The rest of the hippogriffs also returned to their territory at this time, and some came over to smell the injured Buckbeak, and dropped some fruit in their mouths.

Hagrid smiled and said: "Hippogriffs are very proud and ferocious creatures, but they are very friendly to their own kind and recognized people..."

Indra touched a burnt-red hippogriff that came closer.

After leaving the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid, Indra and Draco entered the castle through the vegetable fields, and then returned to the lounge at the bottom of the lake.

The next day in the afternoon, after finishing herbal medicine class, they walked through the vegetable field to outside Hagrid's hut, took the basket of meat he had prepared, and used the levitation spell to transport it to the Forbidden Forest.

Those medicine jars were placed in the Forbidden Forest last time, so there is no need to carry them around anymore.

Draco held up his wand and distractedly manipulated the wooden frame to follow them through the dense forest of tree trunks while walking.

It's a bit of a strenuous job for a wizard of this age.

Indra walked with her magic wand, occasionally looking around, feeling very happy.

"Need a rest?"

Draco shook his head firmly, gritted his teeth and said, "No."

There was no one here, so Indra turned around and kissed him on the cheek, then continued walking ahead.

It suddenly occurred to Draco that they could go on a date in the Forbidden Forest, didn't it?

The day before yesterday, Master Malfoy thought the Forbidden Forest was dangerous and was reluctant to come, but today he regarded it as a holy place for dates.

When they reached Buckbeak, Draco let the wooden frame fall to the dirt beneath his head.

Indra began to remove Buckbeak's bandages. The medicine jars containing the unicorn excrement were placed in the bushes behind the big tree.

She used a large spoon to apply a thin layer of ointment to the wound, and Draco rewrapped it with a clean magical bandage.

"This is a servant's job." Draco said with a sullen face.

Indra glared at him, fearing that Buckbeak would hear his tone and peck a hole in his golden head with his beak.

"This is your final grade."
