Hogwarts: Slytherin Kiss
Chapter 26 Secret Room
On February 14th, everyone finally understood the way Lockhart was trying to boost everyone's morale. The auditorium in the morning was decorated like a wedding venue.
Slytherin's long table is close to the wall at the entrance of the auditorium. Big pink flowers are blooming on it. Some of them are vying to stretch out and hang on the heads of some Slytherin classmates, or shake off a burst of petals. Indra saw Goyle and Crabbe tearing the flower bones off their heads, but then more grew back.
Indra stirred her own milk oatmeal, picked up the flower that Goyle had pulled off, and inserted it into Draco's empty goblet. He quickly took it out and threw it away.
Lockhart was still giving a speech with a spring breeze, "Cupids will be circulating in the school today to distribute Valentine's cards to you! I believe that my colleagues also want to join this occasion, let's take a look at the How Professor Nepp made the love medicine..."
Several inconspicuous choking sounds suddenly erupted from the surroundings, and the faces of the Slytherin students showed the anger of the respected teacher who was offended.
The expression on Professor Snape's face seemed to want to silence Lockhart.
Throughout the day, Lockhart, a dwarf angel carrying wings on his back, distributed Valentine's cards in class. The Potions classroom was the only place they could not enter because Professor Snape cast a forbidden spell on the door.
At Easter, all second-year students received an elective course registration form. They should prepare for third-year courses, which is related to their future survival direction in the magical world and how to find employment. In addition to Alchemy, which can only be taken in the sixth grade, there are five elective courses, namely Divination, Arithmetic Divination, Care of Magical Creatures, Ancient Rune Studies and Muggle Studies. Indra is not interested in any work in the elective field, but she will learn it if she finds it useful.
Indra stared at this thick piece of kraft paper, as if he wanted to poke a hole in it. Which doors should he choose?
Professor Snape told her that if she wanted to take all the courses, he could try to apply for a Time-Turner from the Ministry of Magic for her, but since Slytherin's outstanding students often brought chaos to the wizarding world, there was probably no hope. Indra refused without thinking. There was no need for her to choose some useless courses and tire herself out, and she had other things to do.
"Which ones do you choose?" Senna asked Indra as she leaned over and saw that she had nothing to fill in on the parchment.
"I would choose everything except Muggle Studies"
"Are you crazy?! So many lessons will exhaust you to death, and your classes will overlap!" Senna shouted.
Chucks said slowly: "I only choose arithmetic, divination, protection of magical creatures and Muggle studies."
"I just choose one more course than Chucks! I can calculate the overlapping courses and choose to take them at other colleges, or I can drop some self-study parts and go to the more important ones. As long as I don't choose all of them, I can totally make the switch. Come here." Indra looked at her. "Besides, I can ask you about anything I missed."
Chucks nodded "This is indeed a feasible method, Draco, what do you choose?"
Draco kept his eyes lowered and didn't know what he was thinking. He slowly raised his head when Blaise called him, "I choose the divination class, the protection of magical creatures and the study of ancient runes."
Goyle and Crabbe then only ticked the boxes for Divination and Care of Magical Creatures.
"You actually want to choose ancient runes to study?" Senna's suspicious eyes fell on young Master Malfoy.
Draco frowned in displeasure, "What's wrong?"
Senna sighed regretfully, "I only want to choose two subjects. Then I will choose Divination, Arithmetic Divination and Care of Magical Creatures."
Indra leisurely ticked the box on the parchment and signed it, leaning into the single sofa, "Very good, your courses overlap with mine."
Regarding the monster in the secret room, Indra had recently made an uncertain guess and urgently needed to talk to Hermione. She climbed up the tall tower and prepared to go to the Gryffindor lounge on the eighth floor, which was the top floor. Of course, she couldn't get in if she came in an open and honest manner. She just wanted to let the Fat Lady pass the news.
But after turning a corner, Indra found herself stepping into a door. She entered a strange large room, and the door behind her had turned into a stone wall. This room is like a scrapyard, with all kinds of things piled together randomly. Tables, chairs, cups, blankets, quills, pens, necklaces are stacked like a hill. There is even a gorgeous European-style bed. Indra walked slowly inside and opened a cabinet next to him. It was empty. She picked up another diamond-encrusted pink gemstone tassel necklace hanging on the corner of a certain table, hesitated for a moment, then took it off calmly and put it into her bag.
In a corner of the room, Indra saw a very tall mirror, almost touching the ceiling. It is inlaid with a wide gold rim, the base looks like two gold dragon claws, and the mirror surface is as smooth and traceless as water.
What was reflected in the mirror was a witch with long black hair. Indra took a step back in horror. Who is this? !
Then she discovered that it seemed to be her grown-up self. Her golden name was engraved on the monument of the most powerful wizard of this century, and only her name. Her magic was unmatched, and the potions she made were worth huge sums of money. Indra looked at it blankly, with a look of admiration on her face. Then she woke up in shock, shook her head and retreated further.
Indra turned around and wanted to leave, but after taking two steps she stopped again, picked up a big blanket and came over to cover the mirror, and then hurriedly walked out from the door that suddenly appeared next to it. Outside was the familiar corridor of Hogwarts. And there is only a wall behind him.
Indra waited on the stairs outside the Gryffindor common room for a while before Hermione hurried over. Hermione was never willing or dared to look for her directly outside the Slytherin lounge. She was always worried, but she had the courage to try to use Polyjuice Potion to sneak in! This made Indra very unhappy.
"What's going on?!" Hermione obviously ran over, and the two of them went to a deserted corridor to talk.
Indra was walking cautiously now, as if there would be a big hole in the ground at any time. She was afraid that she would suddenly walk into that weird room again, and then she couldn't help but lift up the blanket to see her "future".
"What is this?" Indra pointed to the academy badge on his chest.
Hermione showed a puzzled expression, "Slytherin...snake" She saw Indra's fingertips specifically poking the silver snake in the middle, so she changed her words.
"I know there is a kind of snake..."
Before Indra could finish speaking, Hermione stamped her feet excitedly and said quickly: "Ah! You are saying that it might be a snake!? Yes... Why didn't I think of that... I'm going to the library now Pavilion…”
Indra pulled her back anxiously and handed out a piece of paper, "I rubbed it with potion."
While watching, Hermione immediately connected the fragmented clues and quickly guessed a place. She suddenly grabbed Indra's shoulders, her expression looked happy and uncomfortable, "Indra, the map you drew is correct. …”
Now it was Indra's turn to be surprised, "What!?"
Then Hermione gave Indra a quick recount of the noises Harry heard in the wall, the spider they found, Hagrid's dead rooster, the conversation with Myrtle, and even the one that was supposed to die. A diary that was found and lost.
"It must move through the pipes connected to the bathroom. The Muggle student who died fifty years ago might be Myrtle. We should ask her how she died!" Hermione said quickly.
"Wait a minute! Draco gave Harry the map specifically. He must have discovered something! Maybe the location of the entrance!" Indra found to her dismay that if she wanted to ask Draco what he had discovered she would have to tell him. Things that tested him.
"We asked Myrtle the same thing. The bathroom is only that big." Hermione seemed to be about to run away at any moment. She ran towards the Gryffindor Tower, "Wait a minute, I'll call Harry and Ron!"
Indra exhaled and waited for her.
