Chapter 150 The Legend of Hengshan
The decoration at home was almost complete, and Wu Shuangshuang fulfilled his promise and invited Ma Xuejiao from downstairs to his home.
The little girl was so polite when she came and brought a basket of fruits.
"You're already here, why are you still getting fruit?"
"Oh, I didn't buy it specifically for you. My parents were afraid that I wouldn't be able to bear to buy it, so they sent me two more boxes. I couldn't finish it, so I'll share some with you." Ma Xuejiao didn't show up either. After visiting downstairs, he sat on the sofa and waited for Wu Shuangshuang to make lunch.
Wu Shuangshuang's skills in cooking Western food have been honed now. No matter how you prepare the main ingredients, the taste will not be bad.
"Sister Shuangshuang, your steak is so delicious! Please teach me!"
"I don't have any skills. The main reason is that the quality of the beef itself is relatively high. The cost of the beef you eat is about 700 yuan. I just put some sea salt and black pepper, and nothing else."
"What? So expensive? Sister Shuangshuang, you are so interesting! The first time you invited me to your house for dinner, you gave me such an expensive steak. I am determined to be your friend.
Don't worry, if anything happens when you're not at home, just ask me. Anyway, it's very convenient for me to live downstairs from you.
If anything happens to the property, I will tell you immediately. "Ma Xuejiao patted her chest very loyally.
"Okay, okay, then I will definitely not be polite to you." Wu Shuangshuang felt that there should be nothing that would cause trouble to the other party, but it was better to be prepared, what if?
The May Day holiday passed quickly.
Changsha is really a tolerant city. So many tourists suddenly poured in and then dispersed suddenly.
It seems like something has changed, but it seems like nothing has changed.
On May 5, Wu Shuangshuang decided to set off for Nanyue Hengshan!
Nanyue Hengshan has a long history and cultural heritage. Many people must say when wishing the elderly a long life, "Blessings are like the long flowing water of the East China Sea, and longevity is as long as the everlasting pines of Nanshan."
In this commonly used blessing phrase, "Shoubi Nanshan" comes from Hengshan Mountain.
According to the description in the ancient document "Shu Yi Ji", Nanyue was transformed from Pangu's left arm.
The ancient book "The Book of Stars" records that Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue corresponds to the Zhen star among the twenty-eight stars. Coincidentally, there is a small star next to the Zhen star, named "Changsha Star". This star controls the birth and life span of the people in the world.
In ancient times, Hengshan Mountain belonged to Changsha, so Hengshan Mountain was called Shouyue Mountain.
Therefore, the Shoubi Nanshan we often use when celebrating birthdays today refers to Nanyue Hengshan.
There are many mysterious legends circulating on Hengshan Mountain.
The most famous one is probably the legend about Zhu Rong.
According to legend, Zhu Rong was the mountain god appointed by the Yellow Emperor to guard Hengshan Mountain.
He was deeply loved by the people by understanding the people's sentiments and teaching them the wisdom and ability of using fire.
Zhu Rong lives on the highest peak of Hengshan Mountain - Zhu Rong Peak. He lived for more than 100 years and was buried at the Red Emperor Peak of Hengshan Mountain after his death. He was honored by the locals as the Red Emperor or the Holy Emperor of Nanyue.
In order to commemorate him, people called the highest peak where Zhu Rong lived Zhu Rong Peak.
On the top of Zhurong Peak, the people also built Zhurong Hall to worship this great mountain god.
Another legend is about the romantic relationship between Mrs. Nanyue and Huang Tingguan.
Mrs. Nanyue is also called Mrs. Hengshan. Legend has it that she was the daughter of Situ Wei Shu in modern times.
According to records, the daughter of Situ Wei Shu, whose name was Huacun and whose courtesy name was Xian'an, was from Shandong. She was born in the third year of Wei Jiaping (AD 251).
She was fond of Taoism when she was young. She loved to read about Laozi and Zhuangzi, longed for the immortals, tasted pills, breathed out qi and liquid, practiced hard for many years, and finally became a very famous female Taoist priest at that time.
When she was young, her marriage was rough, and she was forced to marry Liu Wen of Nanyang as her wife. She gave birth to a son. After her husband died, she took her two young sons to the south to escape the war.
When her son grew up, she devoted herself to Taoism and sorted out her thoughts. She died at the age of 83.
He is honored as the first generation master of Shangqing Sect by Taoists.
According to legend, Mrs. Wei was not buried after her death. Instead, she flew on clouds from Fuzhou, Jiangxi to Hengshan Mountain. After flying to Jixian Peak, she turned the clouds into stone next to Huangting Temple.
It has been standing in Hengshan for thousands of years, seeming to continue sorting out the Shangqing Mantra during its lifetime. Its firm and persistent spirit is moving.
Later generations called Mrs. Wei, Mrs. Hengshan, and this legend has been passed down to this day.
There is also a legend about monk Huisi on Mount Hengshan. This legend is related to draft.
It is said that monk Huisi encountered a water shortage problem when he first built a temple in Hengshan.
The monks were tired of carrying water, complained endlessly, and their minds were shaken.
Huisi asked the Buddha for help, and found a clear spring named Zhuoxi Spring. The distance to carry water was shortened a lot, but it was still very hard to go back and forth uphill.
One day, monk Huisi and his disciples were going to fetch water. They were blocked by a white-fronted tiger with an eye-catching look that suddenly jumped out from the bamboo forest.
Everyone was frightened out of their wits and terrified.
Monk Huisi observed the tiger carefully and felt that he had no intention of hurting anyone.
So the tiger slowly walked towards Huisi, held his tin staff in his mouth, and led him to the rock at the foot of the mountain behind the temple.
The tiger pushed open the rock next to it, roared three times, and spring water gushes out from the cracks in the rock.
Everyone was overjoyed, and the tiger immediately jumped into the bamboo forest and disappeared. It turned out that Buddha had sent the tiger to help them solve their problems.
Later, Huisi organized monks to build a well named "Hupao Spring".
People cut the bamboos open, removed the bamboo joints, and diverted water into the kitchen, bathroom, and vegetable garden. From then on, it became more convenient to obtain water.
After this incident, Huisi's reputation became even greater, and the monks worshiped him even more. No matter far or near, people come here to seek refuge.
Monk Huisi also began to teach in Hengshan. Through years of tireless teaching and practice, he finally became the second ancestor of the Tiantai Sect of Buddhism.
Wu Shuangshuang listened to the audio introduction about Hengshan while driving.
It was very interesting to hear these legends about Nanyue Hengshan Mountain. I was lucky enough to taste the Yunwu Tea from Hengshan Mountain earlier.
Yunwu tea is emerald green in color and rich in aroma, and is said to have the effect of prolonging life.
There are also Guanyin bamboo shoots on the mountain. You must try them when you go back.
In addition, I have long seen on Dianping that there is a dish called goose mushroom in Nanyue Hengshan, which is made of pine meat and fat. After pickling, it has an orange-yellow color and is glossy and elegant.
Just reading the description makes my mouth water.
Although she said last time that she never wanted to climb mountains again.
But I’ve gone there, regardless of whether I climbed the mountain or not. You must try the delicious food. We’ll see what happens when we get there.
I haven't gone anywhere else in the past few days and have stayed in Changsha.
[Shuang Shuang’s RV Travel] There will be no new material after this account is updated once. Therefore, Wu Shuangshuang also held a live broadcast at home, and the effect was quite good. Everyone has great expectations for her next trip.
Just because of the enthusiasm of the fans, Wu Shuangshuang was too embarrassed to give up. When you get there, think about how to climb the mountain easily!
