Galactic Conflict: I Restore the Glory of Humanity
Chapter 993 The True Son of the Emperor
While Fulgrim of Chaos was fighting Fulgrim, in the cabin, the Space Marines of the Emperor's Children Legion were also fighting the Space Marines of the Emperor's Children Legion of this world.
The battle unfolded fiercely in the narrow cabin. The roar of grenade launchers, the hum of power weapons, the metal sound of armor colliding, and the roar of warriors intertwined to form a bloody and chaotic picture.
The Emperor's Children warriors from the parallel world formed a tight formation with Commander Eidolon as the core and advanced step by step.
Their armour shines pure purple and gold, symbolising their devotion and honour to the Emperor.
On the other side, the Emperor's Children warriors corrupted by Slaanesh appeared twisted and depraved, their armor covered with blasphemous symbols and strange decorations. The originally noble purple had been eroded by Chaos pink and dark purple, as if their souls were as filthy as before.
The Emperor's Children warriors corrupted by Slaanesh have long lost their former elegance and nobility.
Their armor is inlaid with twisted statues and blasphemous runes, and some even hang the heads or limbs of their enemies around their waists as decorations.
Their visors were transformed into hideous masks, some warriors grew extra eyes or mouths on their faces, and their skin was sickly pale or a strange pink.
Their movements, though still swift, were done with a twisted grace, as if they were performing a dance of death.
Their voices also became sharp and strange, full of devilish whispers and temptations.
"Look at you, still bound by the Emperor's shackles,"
A traitor warrior laughed shrilly, his voice was as harsh as metal friction, "You will never understand the taste of freedom! Join us and feel the true joy!"
"Your loyalty is but a foolish fetter!" roared another traitor, his armor covered with wriggling tentacles, as if alive. "Slaanesh grants us endless power and joy, but you can only wither in this corrupt faith!"
Lucius fought alongside Tarvitz, their fighting styles were vastly different, but equally deadly.
Lucius's combat skills are nothing short of an art, his every move filled with grace and deadly precision.
His power sword seemed to come to life in his hand, the blade drawing silver arcs in the air, as if weaving a big net.
His steps were light and nimble, as if he was performing a deadly dance, each step perfectly timed to dodge the enemy's attacks while preparing for the next deadly sword swing.
A traitor warrior rushed at him with a chainsword in hand, the teeth of the chainsword making a sharp roar in the air.
Lucius observed his opponent's movements calmly, a hint of contempt flashing in his eyes.
Just as the chainsaw sword was about to touch him, he dodged sideways nimbly and stabbed the opponent's shoulder armor with his backhand sword.
The traitor let out a sharp scream as the blade pierced through his flesh, and the chainsword slipped from his hand, hitting the floor with a dull thud.
"Your swordsmanship is disappointing," Lucius sneered, kicking the fallen enemy away. "Have the Chaos Demons of this world only taught you how to scream?"
Another traitor warrior tried to attack Lucius from the side, his armor flashing with an eerie light and his chainsaw sword spinning at an incredibly fast speed.
Lucius seemed to have anticipated this attack. His body turned quickly like a ghost, and the power sword drew a perfect arc in the air, and the blade accurately cut off the traitor's arm.
Before the traitor could even utter a full scream, Lucius's blade had already pierced his throat, ending his life.
Tarvitz's fighting style is more direct and violent, he just wants to crush all the enemies in front of him.
Every time he swung his chainsaw sword, there was a sound of bones breaking.
His moves were simple, yet full of destructive power.
As one traitor tried to shoot him with his bolter, Tarvitz closed in, smashing the weapon with one blow, then driving a second through the traitor's breastplate, crushing his heart.
"Your corruption has made you weak," Tarvitz said in a low voice, with cold anger in his voice. "What did your Chaos God give you? What have you gained except rotten bodies and twisted souls?"
The traitors' counterattack was frenzied but disorganized.
Although their movements were swift, they lacked discipline and tactics.
One of the traitors tried to attack Lucius from the side, but he cut off his arm with his sword.
Another traitor screamed and rushed towards Tarvitz, but his power fist smashed his head directly.
"Look at you now," Lucius taunted, his blade dripping with the blood of traitors. "You were once the pride of the Emperor, but now you are the playthings of Chaos. How pathetic!"
"You are not worthy of the title of Emperor's Children. You are just a bunch of pathetic clowns."
Tarvitz said nothing, but continued to fight silently.
Every swing of his sword was accompanied by the screams and wails of the traitors.
His eyes were filled with anger. At this moment, he only wanted to crush all enemies and let these pathetic traitors understand what a true son of the Emperor is.
"The Emperor's son! Kill his father's enemy!"
Commander Eidolon stood at the center of the formation, his bolter fire coming with pinpoint accuracy, the bullets piercing the enemy's armor and shattering their internal organs.
His command was calm and decisive, and every order made the soldiers work more closely together to form an insurmountable line of defense.
A traitor warrior attempted to break through Eidolon's lines, swinging his chainsword wildly, trying to tear a hole in the dense formation.
However, Eidolon's warriors reacted quickly, and bullets from their grenade launchers rained down. The traitor's armor quickly collapsed under the intensive firepower, and he eventually fell in a pool of blood.
The battle was drawing to a close, and the resistance of the traitors was becoming weaker and weaker. Their bodies were piled on the floor of the cabin, and their blood stained the walls and ceiling red.
The Emperor's Children warriors from the parallel world completely crushed these corrupted traitors with their own unique discipline and strength.
Lucius and Tarvitz stood in the center of the battlefield, their armor stained with the blood of the enemies, but their eyes remained firm.
"For the Emperor!" Commander Eidolon shouted, his voice echoing through the cabin.
"For the Emperor!" the warriors responded in unison.
"Let these traitors know the price of betrayal!"
"For the Emperor! For the Imperium! For the Third Legion! For Fulgrim!"
