Looking up, he saw a strange monster with a tiger's head, a single horn, dog's ears, a dragon's body, a lion's tail, and unicorn's feet.

This reminded him of the Sibu Xiang, but he felt that the Sibu Xiang was not very similar to this one, so he thought of an animal - Di Ting!

According to the myths of previous lives, the mount of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is Di Ting.

Di Ting can see the good and evil in human nature and the truth and falsehood of all things. Don’t underestimate this ability. Even Buddha cannot determine the good and evil of a person, but Di Ting has a 100% accuracy rate.

When he saw Di Ting, Zhou Yang knew that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was nearby.

"Hello, follow me!"

A human voice appeared in Zhou Yang's mind, and he knew it was Di Ting talking to him.

"Okay senior!"

Zhou Yang naturally agreed. Di Ting was a divine beast and had the cultivation level of the late Daluo Golden Immortal, or even higher.

Among the four old Bodhisattvas, except for Guanyin who has no mount, the other three have their own mounts. The mount of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is Di Ting, the mount of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is a white elephant, and the mount of Manjushri Bodhisattva is a lion.

But he had never seen the mounts of these three Bodhisattvas, he just knew that they existed.

Following Di Ting through twists and turns on the eighteenth floor, they arrived at a big door. Di Ting opened the door with his head and walked out, and Zhou Yang followed him out.

Finally, I walked out of the place where the books were stored and came to an open place. Looking up, I saw only magma floating in the sky. If you didn't know, you would think the world was turned upside down and you couldn't tell which was up and which was down.

Here, in addition to feeling the immortal spirit, there is even yin energy, which is a relatively low-level power that exists in the lower realm, mainly appearing in the underworld, also called underworld energy. However, after becoming immortals, the cultivators who practice the underworld will eventually transform the power in their bodies into immortal energy.

Coming here is like coming to the palace of Hades. At that time, there was a reincarnation realm where the souls of the dead could be reincarnated.

This feeling made him suspect that this place was connected to the underworld of Hades.

Di Ting did not stop but continued to move forward, and Zhou Yang followed behind him, and finally he came to a river.

Seeing the scent of the river water, Zhou Yang was almost certain that this was the Yellow Springs River.

At this time, a group of souls appeared from behind. Zhou Yang knew that this was not the souls leaving the body, but that they were really dead.

This group of souls were also a little surprised to see Zhou Yang. They didn't expect to see a living person here, but they did not communicate with Zhou Yang. Instead, they directly bypassed Zhou Yang and continued to move forward.

Zhou Yang originally planned to stop these souls, but thinking that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was nearby, he did not dare to be disrespectful, and then followed Di Ting and slowly walked along the river.

Finally, he saw a building. It was a thatched house built on the bank of the Yellow Spring River. The yin energy here was extremely strong. Zhou Yang felt that this was near the Yellow Spring River in the Pluto's Palace.

At the door of the thatched hut, sat a Buddhist monk - Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

"Disciple Zhou Yang, I meet Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva!"

Zhou Yang was very respectful.

"Well, I sense the breath of Hades from you, but I'm sure you've never been here!"

As soon as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said this, Zhou Yang was sure that the Yellow Spring River in the Pluto Palace and the Yellow Spring River in front of him were not the same river.

“Perhaps my reincarnation was contaminated by the aura of the Yellow Springs River!”

Zhou Yang knew that there was a place for reincarnation among the eighteen levels of hell in Buddhism, and the one in charge of reincarnation matters in Buddhism was Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

The Bodhisattva once said: "I will not become a Buddha until hell is empty!"

There are two interpretations of this sentence. One is that one has the ability to become a Buddha, but one needs to wait until hell is empty. The other is that only when hell is empty can one have the conditions to become a Buddha.

If it is the first one, then it proves that among the five old Bodhisattvas, three have the confidence to become Buddhas, namely, Yuxuan, Guanyin, and Ksitigarbha. Now only Manjusri and Samantabhadra are left, and he does not know much about them.

But with three potential candidates for becoming a Buddha, how anxious the Buddha must be!

It's like, there is a top student in the school, but there are other top students who are only a few points behind him. It is difficult for the top-ranked student to maintain his top position.

"No, the Yellow Spring River washes away sins and memories of alcohol. Sins are compatible with the spring water, and will lead to nothingness, unless you had no sins in your previous life!"

The meaning of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's words is very clear, that is, there is no one who is without sin. Zhou Yang also agrees. No one, including the so-called gentleman or saint, can say that he is without sin.

Because as long as people's value standards are different, the standards for conviction will also be different.

Of course, Zhou Yang knew why he still had the scent of the Yellow Spring River on his body. Maybe it was because he had come into contact with the Yellow Spring water in the underworld, or maybe it was because he was contaminated with the scent of the Yellow Spring when he traveled from the Earth. After all, the memories of his previous life were still there.

It's not that he is without sin, but that his sins have not been washed away!

"I look forward to the answer from you, Bodhisattva!"

Zhou Yang couldn't explain it anyway, so he could only pass the problem to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

"You are predestined to be with the Thousand Gold Ancient Buddha, who spent ten thousand years in the Yellow Springs River gaining enlightenment and eventually attained Buddhahood one day!"

Zhou Yang was still very surprised when Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said this, which meant that there was something related to becoming a Buddha in the Yellow Spring Water.

"Did the Qianjin Ancient Buddha also come to the Yellow Springs River when he tried to become an emperor?"

"Not bad!"

Zhou Yang was very happy to get this news, because it meant that he could also follow the old path of the Thousand Gold Ancient Buddha and become an emperor.

This does not mean that he will fail, because he is not as compassionate as the ancient Buddha, who is willing to sacrifice himself for others. He is a very selfish person.

"Bodhisattva, can you become a Buddha anytime and anywhere?"

Zhou Yang asked the key question.

"Until hell is empty, I will never become a Buddha!"

Zhou Yang was not surprised by what Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said, he just felt that the old man was a bit stubborn. As long as he became a Buddha, wouldn't he have more power and status to achieve his goals?

But Zhou Yang didn't dare to guide an old Bodhisattva. Even if he was the successor of the Thousand Gold Buddha, he was just a successor.

"The Bodhisattva is of high character and integrity, and I admire him!"

Zhou Yang was still very polite in his words, but he didn't agree in his heart.

"What did you gain from the 18th-floor Sutra Library?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva suddenly asked.

"It's just that I don't have a clear view of the path after becoming a Thousand Gold Buddha and Daluo Jinxian!"

Although he obtained the inheritance of the Thousand Gold Ancient Buddha, it was only at the level of Daluo Jinxian. Although he might be able to obtain the later inheritance with the improvement of his status and cultivation, there are a lot of uncertainties. If several Bodhisattvas fail, he will have no chance to obtain the later inheritance.

"What Tianyuan gave you is indeed the complete inheritance left by the thousand-gold ancient Buddha. As for how to become a Buddha through this path, it depends on fate!"

When Zhou Yang heard about this fate, his head started to hurt!
