Chapter 59 Regulus 2

What good thing could the Dark Lord want to hide? Sirius stared at the shapeless locket corroded by venom on the ground, his eyes slightly red.

He didn't expect that he had always thought Regulus was a hopeless Death Eater.

"Where is that place?"

Kreacher pointed the back of his head at Sirius, not prepared to pay attention to him.

Sirius: "I'll take him home."

Kreacher turned his head so sharply that he almost sprained his neck. Did it hear it correctly? Is that what it means?

"Today?" Kreacher asked tentatively.

"Well, go now." With that said, Sirius patted Harry on the shoulder. "Wait for me here, okay?"

Harry: "Can I come along? Maybe I can help."

At this moment, there was a grunt in the room, and Harry's ears turned red and he held his stomach. He didn't eat.

Snape felt that Sirius was indeed a stupid dog. He didn't even notice that his godson was still hungry.

Lilith took out two bags of Xiaoke's food reserves and handed them to Harry.

Sirius: "Eat, I can do that."

Sirius and Kreacher came to a deserted island and walked into a cave under the leadership of Kreacher.

Blood was needed to enter the cave because Voldemort wanted those who entered to be weakened. Sirius cut his palm and opened the door.

There is a lake inside the cave, and the lake is dead. There was a crystal-making platform in the center. Kreacher drove the boat and took Sirius towards the center.

Sirius' wand glowed, and he saw dense human-shaped black shadows under the lake.

It's the Inferi, thousands or even tens of thousands of them. These are basically made of Muggles.

Finally, we came to the platform in the center. There was a basin filled with potions in the middle, and a cup was thoughtfully placed on the side.

Only when the poison is drunk up will the fake locket appear, and only after the locket is taken away will the Inferi surface and become active.

Sirius stared at the bottom of the water, completely unable to see where Regulus was.

unless…

His eyes moved to the basin containing the poison, and Kreacher shivered beside him. It really doesn't want to take medicine anymore.

Sirius looked at the useless Kreacher and had serious doubts. Before the potion was finished drinking, this useless elf would have to kick his legs and ascend to the sky.

So he picked up the cup himself and drank it.

…Dividing line…

The sound of disembodiment echoed in the room.

Kreacher returned with a weak Sirius, but there was no third figure.

As soon as Sirius hit the ground, he started looking for water. There were too many inferi in the black lake, and he couldn't hold on for too long while his body was weak.

Breathing heavily, Sirius drank several large glasses of water, still holding the fake Slytherin locket in his hand.

After a long pause, he realized that Snape hadn't left. He forced himself to stand up, not wanting to show weakness.

Lilith actually has a way to help Sirius recover Regulus' body. She stood on tiptoes and softly asked Professor Snape for his opinion.

Professor Snape looked at Lilith and finally shook his head. If it were him, he wouldn't want anyone to interfere.

Lilith nodded and reminded Sirius before leaving, "Maybe animal blood can also open the cave."

It took Sirius half a month to bring Regulus back.

The protective necklace on Regulus did not turn him into an Inferi, if one of the Inferi hadn't hung onto his clothes and brought Regulus up. Sirius couldn't detect him at all.

Sirius buried Regulus. The fake locket was carried close to his body. He saw the letter Regulus had left inside. He was proud of his brother.

To the Dark Lord:

By the time you read this, I will be dead, but I want you to know. It was I who discovered your secret. I have taken away the real Horcrux and destroyed it.

I am willing to risk my life just so that when you meet your opponent, you will be a mortal of flesh and blood.
