HP in the name of Slytherin
Chapter 287 Robot Snape
In the morning, Severus woke up early and found himself next to him when he grew up.
Snape was alert, and woke up almost as soon as Severus's eyes fell on him.
He finished revising his thesis in the early morning, and of course he would not let himself down. Knowing that Severus was still awake, he came in and pushed him to the bed, letting Severus sleep on the inside against the wall while he slept on the outside.
Both of them slept very well, and although they were both light sleepers, at least they had rested.
Snape's eyes seemed to have no trace of the confusion he had just experienced when waking up. Severus saw him switch from alertness at the beginning to calmness in a second, then he sat up and began to put on his clothes.
How sensitive he is, Severus thought.
But he only thought about it for a second, and then Severus started to worry about Catherine and the others. Will they be back this morning?
Thinking of this, he quickly got up and tidied himself.
Unexpectedly, as soon as he opened the door, he saw Catherine and Tom at the door. Severus' eyes instantly burst into obvious surprise, and he walked over to the two of them in three or two steps, "Why are you back so early? Is everything going well?"
Snape, who was walking behind, sneered in a way that only Severus could hear - he was the one who said he wanted to go to bed early last night but didn't fall asleep, and then suddenly relaxed and went to bed as soon as he said he would.
Severus and Catherine had a secret relationship, and Snape knew it a long time ago. If things hadn't gone well, Severus would have had insomnia last night. He woke up early this morning and got ready excitedly.
Snape watched his little boy quickly combing his semi-long black hair in front of the mirror. From accessories to clothes, everything was simple and delicate. That level of proficiency reminded him again that this Severus was different from him... This guy could dress himself at the age of 11!
But now that he saw Catherine, he still had an expression of "so surprised" and "so unexpected". It was not fake. He should know that Catherine was fine. If she was fine, she would definitely appear in front of him in the shortest time possible to make him feel completely at ease.
But Severus was still pleasantly surprised.
There was a tacit understanding between them that only he and Catherine knew.
After realizing this, Snape curled his lips and looked away, but he was still listening to what Catherine said.
"Everything is settled now and we can prepare to go home," she said.
Guessed it might be so...
Yes, both Severus and Snape guessed that this might be the best outcome, but when this moment came, Snape actually felt a little confused.
He saw Severus suddenly open his eyes wide, then he smiled very cheerfully, and he couldn't help but hold Catherine's shoulders, happy for her: "That's great! Miss Catherine is worthy of her, she dealt with him so quickly!"
Then, as if embarrassed, he quickly let go, and pulled Tom as if to cover up the truth, and asked symbolically: "Is Tom okay?"
If Severus still had a bit of a cold, solitary side when Catherine was not around, when Catherine appeared, he was completely different from Snape.
He is a person with ties in his heart, and his ties happen to constantly respond to him. Of course, they are different.
Snape lowered his eyes and said, "Now that everything has been resolved, let's inform Dumbledore so that he can feel more at ease."
"You're up so early." There was another noise in the lounge at the back. Grindelwald came out.
In just a few hours, his body already looked a little stronger than yesterday...mainly his stomach, and his cape was no longer empty and looked a little fleshy.
Tom and Severus shuddered, obviously remembering what had caused Grindelwald's clothes to bulge, and they looked at each other in tacit understanding.
Unlike Tom who shook off the goose bumps on his body, Severus seemed to have thought of something, and looked curious and thoughtful.
Snape had a bad feeling in his heart, and he was afraid to look at Severus for fear of seeing some ideas that he could not accept.
He sternly drove them away: "Now that you are all awake, go find Dumbledore. Don't gather around me."
Grindelwald put on his hood when he went out. It was around 6 o'clock in the morning at Hogwarts. Many young wizards were still sleeping soundly, while some had already gotten up and were reading or practicing magic on campus.
Everything was very quiet. Even when Snape, with a sullen face, walked through the campus, the young wizards would at most cautiously greet him. Some Ravenclaws were so immersed in the world of books that they didn't even notice the professor passing by.
Snape didn't care. He never cared about other people's opinions, and now there was nothing worthy of his attention.
Knock knock knock on the door of Dumbledore's common room. Snape didn't even go in. It seemed that he was just escorting Grindelwald, whom he was supposed to guard, and bringing Catherine and a few others along.
After everyone went in, he left.
"Hey?" Severus noticed him and wanted to call out.
Unfortunately, Snape had already walked away. Catherine followed his gaze and stared at Snape's back. Seeing that he didn't even turn his head and seemed really unconcerned, she patted the frowning Severus.
Snape woke up particularly early today. Normally, he wouldn't stay in bed, but his normal waking time was 7 o'clock. He would let his body rest well before starting a day's work, controlling himself precisely like a robot.
It was impossible for him to go back to sleep so early today. Walking on the campus, he was dazed for a moment, as if he had just realized all the meaning hidden in Catherine's words.
The matter was completely resolved, and Voldemort of that world disappeared overnight.
And the Voldemort in this world disappeared even earlier.
There is no threat at the moment, and the world is safe.
Catherine came with the mission of destroying Voldemort of that world. Severus and Tom were her helpers. Now that the problem has been solved, they should of course pass through that strange veil and return to their own world.
Snape suddenly stopped. He stood at the door of his cellar office. The sunlight and the courtyard were far behind him. There was only flickering torches for lighting, and the office door in front was pitch black.
Snape was not such a dull person, but perhaps all living creatures would inevitably have some instincts, so he subconsciously did not think about the fact that Severus and the others were going to leave.
But they were going to leave anyway, and if they were able to go back, it meant that the matter had been resolved perfectly and everything was settled.
It's a good thing.
Snape raised his hand, pushed open the door of the cellar, and walked in quietly, without any expression. His heart was also very calm. Like a robot, he started his day's work in an orderly and uneventful manner according to the previously set program.
