Warhammer 40: Mortal Gods

Chapter 1179 3 persons and 1 body

In the faith of the Mechanicus, there is a theory that no one, no matter what school, can disagree with.

That is the Trinity.

The God of All Things, the Messiah Prophet of Ohm, and the Original Power, this is the Trinity.

Among the many acts of infighting that have been carried out by countless people throughout the history of the Adeptus Mechanicus is the debate over the "chicken and egg" question.

It is known that "force" cannot be created out of nothing.

So what is the first "force" that is the source of all "forces" in the real universe?

So there is such an explanation in the Mechanicus:

The source of all forces in the universe...is the source of all forces.

This force is called the original force.

The primordial force caused the most powerful explosion, and the celestial bodies and all matter in today's real universe were born in that explosion.

The original force drives the rotation of celestial bodies in the real universe, and it becomes the source of all power.

If there is no power, but only energy, the creatures in the real universe will not be able to build a prosperous and powerful civilization, and will not be able to conquer nature with technological creations that rely on power. Everything will be primitive, ignorant and chaotic.

"Praise the God of All Machines! Praise Ohm Messiah! Praise the Primal Power!"

The priests present knelt down and shouted words of praise loudly.

The Emperor looked down at the leading priest and whispered, "The God of All Machines says, make good use of my gift. With this primordial power, you will have inexhaustible power that does not require energy. Countless mechanical creations will no longer be bound by energy and power. Their roar will spread to every corner where humans and their sacred machines set foot. This is the gospel of the God of All Machines."

As soon as the words fell, the so-called original power began to float up.

All mechanical creations on Mars have power, whether they are devices, engineering machinery, or anything else, they all have power within the scope of the planet Mars.

Infinite power was supplied to the entire Mars, easily satisfying the power demands that seemed astronomical to the Mechanicus priests.

This is undoubtedly a miracle.

The Martians did not know what the Star Gods were, nor did they know that the original power came from a distorted law of physics that needed to be deliberately maintained.

Just like they don't know why it suddenly rains and thunders on Mars.

"You actually kneel down to them?!"

Angry shouts were heard, and a huge member of the Mechanicus walked over and loudly reprimanded his colleagues.

"They are not the God of All Machines and the Messiah of Om, they are just lowly warlords on Terra!"

"No different from those lowly, vile, ridiculous warlords who squandered knowledge and technology just to slaughter each other!"

Kyle Bohar.

The Emperor recognized this guy instantly.

Hal was not an impulsive person; in fact, he was very good at hiding it.

He will not suddenly jump out and reprimand his colleagues, but will lie dormant until the day when a decision needs to be made, then he will stand up and choose to let Mars embark on another path.

But Hal was rushing out now, yelling like a lowly laborer who couldn't buy beer.

Some mysterious force influenced Hal's thinking.

The emperor sneered in a way that no one else could detect.

"The human race has its own special status and destiny."

The Emperor psionically silenced Hal.

"Humans are the only race that believes in the God of All Things, and humans should naturally receive the blessings of the God of All Things."

"In this dark age when the human race is in crisis, the messengers of the God of All Machines have stepped forward to guide mankind onto the truly correct path."

"Of course, this also includes getting the Martian believers on the right path."

When the Emperor's words made it clear that the Martian Mechanicus was not on the right path, all the priests looked up in disbelief.

Qin Mo also looked at the emperor, wondering why he said something that made people question at this time.

"Mars is the world closest to the God of All Things, and you are the people closest to the God of All Things."

"You have talents that humans from other places, or even other races, don't have, but you use your talents in the wrong place."

The Emperor looked down upon the laborers who were undergoing their crude transformation.

"You use your talents to enslave your own kind, and you monopolize the right to interpret faith."

"Machines once conquered nature with humans to create better material conditions, but now machines have become chains for you mortals to enslave others, and have become the reason and excuse for this despicable behavior."

"You will be punished, and those who are guilty among you will be excommunicated."

At this point, the emperor calmly hinted at Qin Mo with his eyes.

Qin Mo thought that the emperor really understood this trick.

The Emperor wants Hal to die now, and with legitimate reasons. From now on, people like Hal can be executed directly with just one sentence: "You have betrayed your faith." This is not like on Terra, where punishing someone requires evidence and existing rules.

If most of the people in power on Mars did not speak out at this time, Hal's death would not be prevented.

Then they will no longer be able to stop the changes on Mars.

However, no one stood up to speak for Hal, and everyone was intimidated.

It's hard not to be bluffed.

Qin Mo pointed at Hal.

Hal's body began to decompose, and in an instant he turned into a pile of matter falling into the rain.

Afterwards, all the modifications made to the workers present in pursuit of labor efficiency, which were very inferior in other aspects, were sublimated. They were no longer freaks whose bodies were fused together with machines and flesh to the point where they no longer had a human form, but real human beings who had become powerful due to mechanical modifications.

"Prepare to join our cause. Prepare for change." The Emperor's voice was heard across Mars. "When you are ready, we will come again."

The Emperor only said to be prepared to join our cause and to be prepared for change, but did not say exactly what the Martians should do.

He just waited for the Martians to guess for themselves.

In the emperor's view, clear rules would only lead to clear hypocrisy.

Without clear rules, the power is unpredictable and cannot be defied.

When the priests were about to ask questions, the two people in front of them disappeared.

Except for the engine called Primal Power.

The men crawled on their knees to the side of the original power source.

The priests reached out to touch the primordial power first, and then the common people.

And when they touched this holy object simply for the sake of pilgrimage, they found their bodies filled with surging power.

The priests then ordered that the holy object of Primal Power be circulated throughout Mars so that everyone could touch it and receive the blessing.

The priest who recorded history recorded all of this.

Future generations will have a history from a Martian perspective.

In this Martian perspective of history, the All-King and Om-Messiah descended upon the cradle of humanity, turning unbelievers on Terra into believers who spread their gospel, and then they descended upon Mars among these highest level believers.

Not long after this incident, a holy war to spread the gospel across the galaxy in the name of the God of All Machines began.
