Red Dead Redemption: Western Consortium

Chapter 136 The most successful robbery

Who would have thought that after the Blackwater incident, the most successful robbery was planned by Karen.

After meeting David, Arthur rushed back to the camp.

He actually wanted to tell Dutch about David giving him the O'Drisco gang.

But Dutch went out to complete the plan against the two major families with Hosea.

Karen, Bill, and Lenny, after learning that David agreed, rushed to rob the Valentine Bank.

Arthur had no choice but to follow him first.

It took three days to get back to Valentine from Point Clemons. During these three days, Bill kept complaining about robbing the train and offending Cornwall.

In fact, the gang members now understand that Hosea and David's original idea was correct.

The train robberies have caused them a lot of trouble, and the benefits, at least so far, have not been seen.

The robbery of Valentine's Bank went well. Arthur actually wanted to see John, Uncle, Abigail, and Little Jack before that.

But Bill obviously had a strong objection. He felt that robbing the bank was the most important thing, as this could easily lead to some accidents.

Arthur could only reluctantly agree.

Here, Arthur demonstrates a new skill, cracking safes.

This method of unlocking was learned by Arthur from Hosea.

Afterwards, several people managed to escape Valentine.

"Wow, Arthur, I saw it. That's a lot of money. Farke, you can't hide it yourself."

"I admit that you played a big role in this robbery, especially in picking the lock."

"The guy at the bank didn't know the password to the safe. If he had used explosives, the noise would have been too loud."

"Okay, Arthur, do you think you could use an extra $200?"

Bill laughed so happily that it was a wonderful time for them to split their money.

"I won't hide it, Bill. Now, let's see how much money we have."

In a suburb, four people stopped to share money.

Some odds and ends of $10, $20, including large bills of $100.

After all, the total came to just over $2.

According to the rules, half of the gang is divided equally among the remaining 2500 people, and each person can share US dollars.

Arthur took the extra $250.

2 U.S. dollars is definitely a huge amount of money in this era. Even the more than 2000 U.S. dollars that Arthur received is definitely not a small amount.

After returning to the camp, Bill began to brag that he was directing the robbery.

Dutch obviously didn't expect that the robbery would go so smoothly and that there would be so much money.

But he obviously didn't feel much about the money. Even 2 US dollars was not enough for everyone in the gang to live a free life.

The plans for the gold from the two major families will obviously continue.

But it is undeniable that this robbery made everyone in the gang feel much better.

Dutch even decided to purchase some more supplies for the camp to make everyone's life more comfortable.

Dutch left the matter of purchasing supplies to Pearson and Micah.

Seeing Dutch, Arthur hurriedly told him about the information David had given him.

"Dutch, David told me some information about the O'Drisco gang."

"In the north of Rhodes Town, there are more than 60 members of the O'Drisco Gang gathered at the Makto Pond. This is their temporary camp."

"This is a good opportunity. Even if Colm is not here, we can kill many of them."

Arthur was a little excited. The recent successes made him feel happy. Such happiness had not appeared for a long time.

With money in his pocket, Arthur felt that a bright future was beckoning to him.

What a great thing it is to be able to take on their mortal enemies.

It's just that after hearing this information, Dutch was not as excited as Arthur imagined, and even summoned people immediately.

"Listen, Arthur, I hate Colm so much that I want to kill him all the time."

"But now is not a good time to have a fight with Colm. There will definitely be a big commotion, which will affect our current plan."

"Hosea and I have been busy with plans recently. Now we need to keep a low profile enough and not let others focus on us."

"Especially with gang wars, that would lead to our identity being compromised right now."

Not only Dutch, but also Hosea also said: "Arthur, what Dutch said is right. No one is newer than him in killing Colm, but we can't alert the enemy."

"I have had a good chat with Mrs. Braithwaite recently, and we often play cards together. She seems to want to ask us for some help, such as dealing with the Gray family."

"Everything is going according to plan, Arthur, so we need to keep a low profile until we get the gold."

Hearing that both Dutch and Hosea were opposed to this matter, Arthur could only reply: "Well, since you all feel this way, let those bastards be happy for a while longer."
