Chapter 904: Jack, One Person Comes to Paris

It is said that pulling out nails and dripping hydrochloric acid is also one of the CIA's interrogation methods. Although toilet cleaner only contains dilute hydrochloric acid, it is sufficient for emergency use.

In fact, Douglas started talking when the first nail was pulled out, and Brian's subsequent actions were simply to verify the authenticity of what he said.

Although Jack had heard a lot about the CIA's torture methods, the only one he had witnessed in action was waterboarding. This was truly an eye-opener for him.

Jack was not worried about being prosecuted at all. The three kidnapped girls all came from distinguished backgrounds. Even though Cassel was the relatively "poor" one, she was the one with the widest social connections and had friends all over the upper class of New York.

It is even more unlikely that the FBI would make things difficult for him over such a small matter. If their higher-ups knew about it, they would probably even praise him for his decisiveness. Human rights are not something that is universal.

After calling in the NYPD to deal with the aftermath, Jack took Brian and Beckett straight to the farm at the address.

Although he was confident in Brian and his current skills, the purpose of this mission was to rescue the hostages rather than rush into the enemy's lair and kill him.

There were three girls kidnapped. It was obviously unrealistic for only two people to protect them. Of course, accidents were prone to occur if too many people were involved in the operation.

The FBI-SWAT team under the New York office has worked with Jack many times. It can't be said that they are as capable as Jack, but they are definitely trustworthy.

Two hours later, shortly after the three arrived at the farm, Jubal and the fully armed wanted criminal team came with a team of six people and brought Jack's equipment.

In the distance, police cars from the New York State Police were guarding various intersections, and two police helicopters from the NYPD were on standby in the sky.

Although Cassel, who came with them, still had bloodshot eyes, his complexion was obviously much better.

Jack put on his equipment and turned around to meet the great writer's worried eyes. He reached out and pulled Beckett over, "Keep an eye on this guy. Put handcuffs on him if necessary. If he dares to run around, just shoot him in the leg."

He is the biggest destabilizing factor here. As for Brian, he has put on a bulletproof vest and is holding the spare pistol that Jack gave him before.

Cassel lost his usual incoherent attitude and grabbed Brian's shoulders, his eyes full of pleading, "Please, you must ensure Alexis's safety."

Brian nodded silently, thought for a moment, and pointed to the wanted criminals team and the SWAT team. "The FBI is professional at this. They know how to rescue hostages and have been trained over and over again on how to deal with any possible emergency."

"I know, I know, I know a lot about Jack and the others, and I know they have faced more dangerous situations. I just can't help but worry. I'm afraid that when you rush into the house, what you see is..."

Jack checked his N4 assault rifle and punched Cassel on the shoulder. "Be optimistic. It's been less than 24 hours since the incident. The kidnappers haven't even had time to call for ransom. They will be fine."

Cassel's lips moved slightly, but he didn't say any more discouraging words in the end.

Jack thought about it and felt a little worried, fearing that this guy's protagonist halo would cause some inexplicable trouble at this time. He walked to Jiejie and whispered a word of advice to her.

He was serious about guarding Cassel closely, because at the moment, not only was Alexis' safety at stake, but also the safety of the other two girls.

If only Alexis was kidnapped, Jack would not panic at all and would directly bring Cassel with him, which might have played a miraculous role at the critical moment.

But the plot has obviously collapsed. No matter how powerful Cassel's aura is, can he still protect Kim? What if Kim gets into trouble because of this guy's mess? If Brian wants to settle the score with this guy, even he can't protect her.

Since he can travel through time, Jack has to believe in some metaphysics to some extent, but in this situation he chooses to take his destiny into his own hands.

"The drone is back." Jubal walked in front of the crowd holding a tablet computer, "This is the SUV we're looking for, the black Yukon."

Jack confirmed the position below on the satellite map, matched the images taken by the drone with it one by one, and then quickly marked various arrows and key points on it.

The farm's main building is the old brick and stone house in front of us. The kidnappers' vehicle is parked in front of the house. There is also a barn next to the old house. It has been confirmed through drones that the interior is empty, and it must have been abandoned for a long time.

According to the investigation results sent by the NYPD, this farm has been ownerless and unmaintained since it was mortgaged five or six years ago. It is indeed a good hiding place.

Half of the SWAT team will enter from the main gate with Jack for the main attack. Hannah and the SWAT team's sniper will be responsible for surveillance from the east and west sides respectively. Clay and Aubrey will approach from the small garden full of debris behind the old house and block the direction of the back door.

Everything was ready, and everyone took action immediately. Jack took the lead, followed by a SWAT team member holding a door hammer, and then Brian.

However, an accident occurred just before they arrived at the main entrance. Jack and Brian looked up at the brand new camera on the porch that didn't fit in with the surroundings, and they immediately had a bad feeling.

“GO! GO! GO!!!”

Jack roared, not caring whether he would expose his unusual physique. He slightly turned sideways and exerted force on his feet, rising up like a wild beast, and slammed his shoulder heavily on the main door of the old house.

The door that was supposed to open outwards was smashed to pieces along with the door frame. Brian walked around the SWAT team member who was still holding a door hammer and looked a little dazed, and rushed in after Jack.

"FBI!"

Since he had been discovered in advance, the next thing was a competition of speed. Jack turned on his senses and no longer followed the normal process of entering a house. Instead, he bypassed the unimportant rooms and headed straight for the living room and bedroom where people were most likely to hide.

"Safety!"

"unmanned!"

"Safety!"

There was no one on the first floor, no one on the second floor, and no one in the basement, but there was a dead body.

-

"Are you sure there are no other basements or secret rooms around?" Cassel followed Jack into a bedroom with an incredulous look on his face.

"I have searched everywhere, including the abandoned barn, but I am sure of one thing, the three girls were indeed brought here."

Jack pointed to the three coats thrown on the ground, "Brian has confirmed that the yellow one is Kim's."

"The green one next to it belongs to Alexis. Their coats are here, but the people are not here. What does this mean?"

Castle became as panic-stricken as before and asked in a trembling voice. Beckett beside him was also a little panicked and subconsciously grabbed his arm.

"Combined with the camera at the door, this means a lot. We are probably not dealing with a group of simple kidnappers. This is just a transit station. The real mastermind has already moved them."

Jack said as he opened a secret door on the bedroom floor, "This isn't the weirdest thing. Come down with me and you'll see."

A smell of blood hit my face, mixed with a pungent sour taste.

Roger Hansen, who they believed to be the main culprit of the kidnapping, had his hands and feet tied to a chair, his body covered in blood, and a bullet hole on his forehead. Brian was squatting in front of him examining him.

"He was tortured?" Cassel's attention was immediately focused on the hands of the corpse. The nails on the fingers were all gone, and the fingers that should have been covered with nails were corroded into black and yellow by something.

"You guys." Beckett's beautiful eyes suddenly widened.

"He was already dead when we came in." Jack knew she had misunderstood something and explained quickly. After all, a similar scene had just happened a few hours ago.

"It's a common tactic used by the CIA." Brian stood up and nodded in confirmation.

"CIA?" Cassel's tone changed a little. "Is there another CIA person here?"

"Your friends?" Jack asked Brian with some confusion.

"It wasn't my friends who did it. I just asked them to help with some research. It's impossible for them to do it privately without telling me."

Brian explained lightly, with a strange look on his face, and handed Jack something wrapped in paper, "I'm more curious about what this is. Can you help explain it to me?"

Jack opened it and found that it was wrapped in a cheap anonymous mobile phone. There was a line of words written on the paper, "Jack, they are in Paris, come here alone, I need your help."
