Chapter 1153 Another Navy SEAL

Jack noticed that the girl's palms and knees were covered in dried blood.

Although he has experienced so many cases, it is still hard for him to imagine how tragic it is for a ten-year-old girl to return home happily only to see her mother lying in a pool of blood.

"Is this your fortress, soldier? Did you build it yourself?" Jack squatted in front of the girl, trying to act like a kind and amiable older brother.

Jack pretended to check the time. In fact, they came in a hurry this time. NCIS was still busy searching for survivors and rescuing data servers in the half-collapsed building.

In the meeting room of the small town police station, Clay and Hannah arrived late.

"The victim, Valerie Barnes, is a clinical psychologist at a psychological counseling service in Richmond. She is half a colleague of you and Jack."

Hannah took the purified water that Jiejie handed to her, and without even saying thank you, she drank the entire bottle in just a few gulps.

“After asking around the neighbors, Clay and I went to her workplace and talked to her co-workers.

Valerie's colleagues describe her as a nice person, and no one has had any problems with her recently, including her patients."

"I'm here to contact the judge and I need to get all her medical records." Jubal took the initiative to take on the task.

"Where is her husband, Commander Barnes? Has the Navy declassified the files?" Jack looked at Alice who was busy with her work with her head down.

They waited until people from the child welfare department came and took the little girl Rachel away before leaving. Alice's work was still not going smoothly as the navy had not yet synchronized the data.

Alice replied without even looking up, "Just received, Ryan Barnes is a commander of the Navy SEALs, more information will take time to sync up.

But he is currently undergoing survival training in a counter-terrorism operation group. I have already notified him and he should be here tonight."

She used the word "SEAL", which meant that Lieutenant Commander Barnes was a general SEAL belonging to the Naval Special Operations Group, not SEAL Team 6 where Clay was previously.
