Siheyuan: Sap is the last word

Chapter 238 Make up your mind

The monk replied: "Cultivate inner peace and calm through meditation, meditation and reflection. Understand that emotions and desires are fleeting and illusory, and only by transcending these can you gain true freedom."

Yudong and Jingjing Hua were willing to accept this teaching, and they decided to start meditation and Zen practice in Kangkang Village. They sit down, close their eyes and meditate, trying to control their inner emotions and desires. It's a deep inner journey as they review their emotions and learn to gradually transcend those fleeting desires.

In the process of meditation, they also learned more about their own hearts and understood the origin of emotions and desires. Although this process was full of challenges, it also made them more determined in their hearts and practice.

They left Kangkang Village and went to an ancient cave, where it is said that there is a precious ancient scripture - the Diamond Sutra. This sutra is considered one of the most important texts of Buddhism and contains profound teachings on wisdom and liberation.

The entrance to the cave seemed ancient and mysterious, with huge stones blocking their way. However, they were determined and began to use martial arts and wisdom to overcome this obstacle.

Yudong tried to use the power of the golden Arhat to move the boulder, while Jingjing Hua used the agility of Tongzi Kung Fu to explore the inside of the cave. After some hard work, they finally successfully entered the cave and discovered the ancient Diamond Sutra.

The text of the Diamond Sutra is extremely profound and contains discussions on life, wisdom and liberation. Yudong and Jingjinghua sat down and began to read and study this precious scripture. They are deeply involved, immersed in the wisdom of the words, and strive to understand its profound connotations.

During the process of reading the Bible, they also shared their understandings and questions with each other from time to time. They discovered that the Diamond Sutra is not only a valuable classic, but also a guide to inner practice and wisdom, which profoundly touches on important issues in life.

After several days of meditation, they finally understood part of the essence of the Diamond Sutra. This realization not only affected their martial arts skills, but also their outlook on life. They understand that wisdom and liberation are not just found in words and practices, they are also present in daily life and need to be maintained in every moment.

Yudong and Jingjing Hua came to a magnificent mountain temple, which is a holy place where many warriors and monks come to worship and practice. This Kangkang village is said to be home to two legendary monks, one is called the "divine monk" and the other is called the "sweeping monk."

They went to Kangkang Village to find these two monks, hoping to learn more wisdom and martial arts from them. In the main hall of Kangkang Village, they finally found these two mysterious monks.

The divine monk is an elderly monk, sitting in meditation, exuding a sacred atmosphere. The sweeping monk is a young monk who is diligently sweeping the floor. They saluted the two monks and expressed their respect.

Yudong asked: "Dear monks and sweeping monks, we are warriors from afar, eager to learn more martial arts and wisdom. Can you teach us some teachings?"

The divine monk nodded slowly and said, "Practice requires calmness and wisdom, but also diligence and persistence. The sweeping monk is my best example. He exercises his endurance and concentration by sweeping the floor, and at the same time cultivates inner peace."

The sweeping monk joined the conversation: "To become a powerful warrior, you need not only a strong body, but also a pure heart. Every day, I meditate and meditate by sweeping the floor, and at the same time exercise my body. This is a way of practice. , but also a way of life.”

Yudong and Jingjinghua understood this teaching. They understood that practice does not only happen in Kangkang Village or Kangkang Village, but it is integrated into every moment of life. They are determined to integrate this spirit into their own practice and continuously improve their martial arts and inner realm.

Yudong and Jingjinghua came to a wide valley. There is a small temple in this valley. In front of the gate of Kangkang Village stands a very pious-looking warrior. He is wearing a monk's robe and has a solemn expression.

They stepped forward to greet the warrior and expressed their desire to learn more martial arts. The warrior looked at them, smiled and nodded.

The warrior said: "I am a monk in a mountain temple. I will practice every day, but I am also happy to help people who seek truth and power. Are you willing to learn?"

Yudong and Jingjinghua agreed excitedly. The monk led them into Kangkang Village and began daily training. They learned an ancient technique that combined martial arts and meditation to improve internal strength and physical coordination.

Every day, they will train hard, including not only the practice of martial arts, but also meditation and inner purification. Warriors emphasize the importance of tenacity and perseverance, teaching them how to persevere in the face of setbacks.

However, as time passed, Yudong and Jingjing Hua began to feel uneasy. This warrior seems to be too demanding on their training, requiring them to practice endlessly every day, and constantly emphasizing the importance of pursuing strength.

Jingjinghua expressed his doubts to Yudong privately. He said: "Yudong, although this warrior taught us some useful skills, he seems to have ignored inner peace and wisdom. Our practice should be comprehensive, not just the pursuit of strength."

Yudong also agrees with this view. They decided to seek balance and no longer blindly pursue power, but instead focused on inner peace and wisdom.

Continuing their difficulties, Yudong and Jingjing Hua arrive at a magnificent Kangkang Village, famous for its spectacular Buddha statues and majestic architecture. In Kangkang Village, they met an old monk named Sakyamuni Dharma Seal.

Sakyamuni Dharma Seal was a wise and profound monk whose reputation was very high throughout the region. He received Yudong and Jingjing Hua kindly and led them to visit Kangkang Village and the Buddha statue.

In a quiet corner, Sakyamuni Dharma Seal started a profound dialogue with them. He discussed the concept of "transcendence," a ritual in the Buddhist tradition used to help the souls of the dead gain liberation and transcend reincarnation.

Yudong asked curiously: "Master Sakyamuni Dharma Seal, what is the meaning of salvation?"

Shakyamuni Dharma Seal replied: "Transcendence is an act of mercy. Its purpose is to help the deceased souls to gain liberation and escape the suffering of reincarnation. Through prayers and rituals, we can pray for peace and transcendence for them."

Jingjing Hua further asked: "So, how do we perform the salvation ceremony?"
