"The Grandma Robbers" is a hilarious story about three hardcore old ladies with different personalities who are going to travel to Hawaii, but are faced with the dilemma of not being able to withdraw their time deposits. Eventually, they form a bank robber group with an average age of 65 to rob a bank.

Tingzi is an expert in car repair, but he has no money to pay the rent and is in debt. He drinks soju as a beverage every day and drives while blowing the bottle; Yingji works as a cleaner in a public toilet. She smokes a cigarette while working, and she uses a mop to hit anyone she dislikes. No one can stand her bad temper, so of course she was fired; Shenzi is a female worker on the kimchi production line, but she is suffering from overwork.

They live in poverty, their partners have passed away, and their children are unfilial. Their only hope in life is to go to Hawaii once in their lifetime, to see the sunshine and beaches there, and stay in a high-end hotel. This is a common agreement among the three of them.

The sisters, at their old age, still do the dirtiest and most tiring work just to save up enough money. Occasionally, they also steal from supermarkets, with an orderly division of labor and tacit cooperation. They steal all kinds of daily necessities under the eyes of the store clerks, and then auction the stolen goods on the street. The customers are all poor elderly people living nearby.

When they come across homeless people, they sell their things to them at half the price or give them away for free. Life is difficult, but Hawaii is the motivation that keeps them going.

Just like that, eight years later, they finally saved up more than 800 million won (more than 4 Chinese yuan) for a trip to Hawaii, and walked into the travel agency with a plastic bag full of banknotes and coins, smiling happily.

However, according to the travel agency's requirements, they needed to go to the bank first to exchange the coins for large-denomination banknotes. Just when the bank teller completed the exchange and was about to stamp it for confirmation, two robbers suddenly broke into the bank and stole all the money in just a few minutes.

The bank stated that because their documents did not have a stamp, it was unable to compensate for the losses according to regulations. The three people's life savings were wiped out in just a few minutes.

Just because of an unexpected robbery, the bank's strict rules, and a group of inaction of the police; however, they did not give up, but decided to find the robbers and recover the money on their own.

How to find it?

The only clue was that Shen Zi bit the robber's wrist hard, so they simply stopped every man passing by on the street and checked their wrists.

What a crazy group of old ladies! But their hard work paid off and they finally found the money, but the money had already been embezzled by another robber.

So, they were so angry that they came up with an even crazier idea: to become the robbers' apprentices and rob a bank as well.

They study maps, divide labor strategically, and exercise their physical strength in an orderly manner, no different from those professional gangs.

After completing their studies, the three men tied on headscarves and returned to the bank that had been robbed.

Tingzi took the lead and pretended to faint, attracting most of the security personnel. Then Yingji and Shenzi were responsible for pulling out guns to ask the teller for money. After discussing with the manager, the teller handed them a bulging envelope.

But unexpectedly, the envelope did not contain a huge sum of money, but change collected from donations for elderly people living alone.

The police quickly arrived at the scene, and during the stalemate with the police, several grandmothers told their stories to the trapped hostages: they didn't want to hurt anyone, they just wanted to get back their life savings.

Everyone expressed sadness over what happened to the grandmothers and condemned the manager squatting in the corner. Two people even took the initiative to change their clothes and pretend to be grandmothers to divert the police's attention.

Although the process is absurd, the ending of the film is very realistic: the miracle did not happen, and when the boarding announcement sounded on the radio, the grandmothers were handcuffed by the police and walked towards the door.

Tingzi died of illness while serving his sentence.

Eventually, the three became two, and they could only paint their figures in the landscape photos of Hawaii.

As a comedy, "Grandma Bandits" is full of nonsensical plots, but it also portrays the situation of lonely and poor elderly people and movingly depicts the friendship between old sisters.

By the end, I was laughing with tears in my eyes without realizing it.

There may not be such a group of grandma robbers in reality, but there are countless struggling elderly people.

Robbery of gold shops and banks is certainly irresponsible and illegal behavior, but it can make everyone aware of a problem: the spiritual world of the elderly lacks care.

If "Miracle in Cell No. 7" and "Granny's Bandits" are movies that make you cry while laughing, and are more about reflecting the lives of ordinary people nowadays, then the next three films of Bharat are simply cool movies, which are funny, entertaining and happy, without much so-called educational significance.

"Pink and Despicable Me" tells the story of a pair of muscular good friends who originally had a stable high income, but the coming of the financial crisis made them lose their only source of income. What's worse is that one of the male protagonists needs to raise a betrothal gift to marry his beloved girlfriend, while the other has a little nephew to raise. The two grown men are about to fall into a desperate situation.

Under the urgent situation, the two male protagonists decided to work together as male public relations. They changed their names and hid their real identities. What they didn't expect was that they were unexpectedly suitable for such a special job. Not only did they win the love of the audience, but they also made a lot of money.

However, truth will eventually come to light. As the striptease performances of the two male protagonists went viral on the Internet, the girlfriends learned the truth. After learning the truth, they could not stand their boyfriends' work, so they chose to break up and left the male protagonist. The other male protagonist also lost the custody of his nephew, and they fell into trouble again.

Then the two male protagonists decided to change their current situation and gave up their PR jobs which could easily earn them high salaries.

In the end, the two male protagonists changed their ways and one won back his girlfriend's heart. The other male protagonist also regained the custody of his nephew. He also completed his university studies and captured the love of the female university teacher (who was also his junior at the time).

The story is not very complicated, but the filming is very creative. Although it is a taboo subject, the whole film is full of humor and happiness, which will give you the illusion that being a male host is such a happy thing.

As for the happy ending of the movie, it is a necessity for comedy movies.

The several songs and dances in this movie are also very dynamic and joyful, as well as very humorous and funny. The reason why Xia Haoyang wrote the script for this movie was actually to present several songs and dances in the film to this time and space.

If Xia Haoyang wrote the film outline of "Sex and the City" according to the impression in his mind, completely faithful to the original work, and also hoped to shoot the original film completely faithfully, then a lot of changes would have to be made to "Legendary Thief".
