The difficulty of the Shu Road is as difficult as reaching the sky.

This is the opening chapter of "The Road to Shu is Difficult" by the great poet Li Bai.

Everyone knows that Li Bai is a poet, but few people know that he is also a swordsman.

In his autobiography, Li Bai said that he was "fifteen good at swordsmanship, all over the feudal lords" and "[-]% of his articles were as good as ministers." It can be seen that he learned swordsmanship before he learned literature, and he was more confident in his swordsmanship than in articles.

Li Bai had three teachers: he learned literature from the hermit Zhao Rui of Guigu, swordsmanship from Tang Dynasty swordsman Pei Min, and Taoism from Sima Chengzhen, the master of Shangqing Dynasty.

Among them, Zhao Rui lived in seclusion in Shu.

Nowadays, when people talk about Shu Mountain, it is easy to think of Emei Mountain and regard Emei Mountain as Shu Mountain.

In fact, Emei is in the southwest of Shu, but the real Shu Mountain is in the northwest.

At that time, Li Bai walked from the middle of Shu to Chang'an on the ancient Shu Road. He felt the difficulty of the Shu Road, so he wrote this famous article.

During the Tang Dynasty, Chang'an and Shuzhong were both prosperous places, but the two places were blocked by mountains and rivers. People could only travel by one ancient Shu road.

The so-called Shu Road is from Rongcheng to the north, passing through Guanghan, crossing Jianshan, passing Shimen, climbing over the Qinling Mountains, and finally exits the sloping valley and enters the Qinchuan River, which is [-] miles away.

Since ancient times, the Shu Road has been heading westward, climbing high and suddenly cutting off in the depths of the clouds.

Outside the cliff, there is a vast sea of clouds, no mountains and no roads.

At this time, the sky flashed, and three figures appeared on the cliff, one man and two women, none other than Li Muchen, Lin Manqing and Ding Xiang.

The first thing Li Muchen did after coming out of confinement was to rescue Ma Shan.

"I hope Brother Mashan is okay." Looking at the sea of clouds ahead, Ding Xiang said worriedly.

"Don't worry, Brother Mashan is still alive. I can sense that his soul lamp is still flashing." Li Muchen said.

Ding Xiang must come to save Mashan this time.

It was not easy for Li Muchen to stop him. After all, Ma Shan was the closest person to them in the world.

Moreover, Ding Xiang's practice has made great progress in the past three years. The Compass Sutra seems to be a method tailor-made for her. With the special constitution of her five yin bodies, she has now mastered the use of the Six Void Wheels.

Li Muchen remembered that Ming Pu hid a big demon in the back mountain of Shu Mountain. It was a forbidden area in ancient Shu Mountain and there must be many restrictions and seals. It was just a good time to try Ding Xiang's Six Void Rotation Technique so that she could have a place to practice.

In the future, we might be able to take her to the wilderness and open up the secret realm there.

"Is this the entrance to the ancient Shu Mountain?" Ding Xiang asked again.

"Yes."

Li Muchen raised his hand and slowly extended his palm diagonally forward.

The clouds and mist in front of us rolled up, one layer after another, like the ocean tide entering the river, rushing and majestic.

After a while, the clouds spread to both sides, revealing a narrow road in the middle, crossing it like a bridge.

On the other side of the bridge is the ancient Weiwei Mountain, standing majestically among the mountains.

This is the ancient Shu Mountain, and it is also the location of the famous "Shu Mountain Sect" of Taoism.

The bridge of the void above the sea of clouds leads to a steep road that winds upwards to the top of the mountain.

"This is the real difficulty of the Shu Road. It is harder than reaching the sky, right? How does this road compare to the Kunlun Sky Road?" Lin Manqing asked.

Li Muchen smiled: "The Shu Road is at its peak, but it is far behind compared to the Heavenly Road. However, this road also has its own uniqueness, which is incomparable to the Kunlun Heavenly Road. You see..."

Following the direction of his finger, the clouds surged again. On the opposite side of the cloud bridge, apart from the path leading to the sky, two branches branched off to both sides, branching off to the north and south. Across the sea of clouds, it was unclear where it led.

"This is the Ancient Shu Immortal Road, floating in the air, heading north to Taiyi, first leading to the Qinling Mountains; south to Qionglai, first reaching Emei. As Li Bai said in his poem, 'There is a bird path in Taibai in the west, which can cross the top of Emei'. That’s the way to go.”

"Brother Muchen, are we going to break through?" Ding Xiang eagerly wanted to save Mashan.

Li Muchen said: "Shushan is a major ancient sect, its status is second only to Tiandu. I heard that Zixu Zhenren is still alive, and he is of the same generation as my master. I must save some face for him. As long as Brother Mashan is well. , everything is easy to talk about. Look, someone is coming to pick us up."

I saw a surge of clouds in the west, and two streaks of light flew in. They stopped in front of the cliff where they were, and landed on the cloud bridge, but they were two monks in green clothes.

"Who disturbed Yunmen?" one of them asked.

Li Muchen cupped his hand and said, "Li Muchen from Hecheng came here to visit our fellow Taoist from Shushan."

"Li Muchen?" The man frowned and thought for a moment, "I seem to have heard this name somewhere."

A person next to him reminded: "Do you still remember that the last time Master held a meeting, he said that there was a mortal monk who preached indiscriminately and said a lot of things that went against heaven. Master also specifically reminded us not to listen to lies and practice solidly, otherwise He will become possessed and go astray. I remember that the monk had this name."

"Oh!" The man suddenly remembered and looked at Li Muchen up and down, with a look of contempt in his eyes, "We are Shushan disciples, my name is Qingping, and this is my junior brother Ziping. Today I and I are responsible for protecting the mountain, you Why are you here?"

"I have a friend named Mashan. Maybe due to some misunderstanding, he was brought back to the mountain by Guishan Miaoyin Zhenren. Let me explain and take my friend back." Li Muchen said.

"Ma Shan?" Qingping shook her head, "I've never heard of this person. Uncle Miaoyin didn't bring anyone back, but he caught a few monsters. Isn't your friend a monster?"

As he spoke, he laughed contemptuously.

Li Muchen said: "Maybe you don't know. I'll find out when I meet Master Miaoyin and ask."

"Uncle Miaoyin is refining elixirs in seclusion, so it is inconvenient to see guests." Qingping said coldly.

"Oh, then you can also meet Miaofa Zhenjun or Miaoyan Taoist."

Qingping was a little impatient: "You really don't understand good and bad words. Uncle Sanmiao is so noble. Do you want to see him whenever you want?"

Li Muchen was not angry and asked: "Then how can we meet?"

"Do you have a cave order?"

"No."

"Then do you have a letter of recommendation from the boss?"

"No."

"Then do you have any sect tokens?"

"nor."

Qingping curled her lips: "You have nothing, but you just want to see my Uncle San Miao. Are the Three Immortals in Shu so easy to meet? How many heads of sects want to come to visit and have to wait in line for three to five years? You What is it?"

Lin Manqing, who was standing next to her, smiled and said, "Mu Chen, I told you to bring some gifts. Look, they won't even let you in without a gift!"

Qingping was furious: "Who said I want gifts from you? How dare you insult Shushan disciples! If I don't teach you a lesson, you don't even know where Shushan is!"

With a wave of his hand, a strong wind swept towards the cliff where Li Muchen was, trying to roll them down the cliff.

However, after the wind passed, the three of them still stood there, motionless.

Qingping was stunned: "Oh, you still have some skills!"

"Is this a bit capable? I'm afraid you have never seen what it means to be capable!" Lin Manqing sneered.

She pulled out a hairpin from her head and gave it a light stroke.

A circle of flames rose in the void next to Qingping.
