Teacher Rong went downstairs and went straight to the classroom downstairs.

The children are in class.

There are about thirty children in this orphanage.

The oldest is no more than thirteen or fourteen years old, and the youngest is two or three years old.

Some of the children are normal, some are disabled, some are sick or mentally retarded.

Due to limited teaching resources, they all take classes in one classroom.

The older ones take care of the younger ones, and the healthy ones take care of the sick ones.

Help each other and try to maintain classroom order.

When the teacher is explaining the textbooks for lower grades, the older children can help the younger children explain the questions.

We are all very united and it is a big loving family.

Teacher Rong pushed the door open and, ignoring the fact that the children were in class, asked the children if they wanted to play hide-and-seek together.

The children have been in class for two hours. Most of the children here have special circumstances. They have large classes in the afternoon and morning. They can go to the toilet in between, and spend the rest of the time in the classroom. There is no break time like in normal schools.

When the children heard about playing hide-and-seek, they jumped up excitedly and ran towards Teacher Rong.

Teacher Rong clapped her hands and asked everyone to be quiet. According to the rules she taught them, the older ones held the younger ones, the strong ones took care of the weak ones, and several people formed groups and walked out of the classroom together.

The teacher who was teaching the class called Teacher Rong over. Although he was not happy that Teacher Rong had disrupted the class order, the get out of class was about to end, so he just scolded him, "You have spoiled these kids! If they don't want to go to class and just want to go out and play, I will settle the score with you."

Teacher Rong felt very sorry, fearing that these children would have no future. He said goodbye hurriedly and led the children out of the teaching building.

The children all like Teacher Rong very much.

She is gentle and patient, taking care of them like an older sister.

The children also listened to Teacher Rong.

According to the old rules, they ran towards the small courtyard behind the dormitory building, laughing.

The yard was surrounded by an iron fence so tight that even the youngest child could not get out.

But in an inconspicuous corner of the fence where weeds flourished, there was a broken piece of the fence that had been cut with pliers. It was covered by weeds and branches and could not be seen at all.

Go out here and there is a large forest behind.

Teacher Rong usually takes the children out to play hide-and-seek in this woods.

She also took the children and secretly dug many small pits in the woods.

This is their secret and they are not allowed to tell anyone.

The children squeezed out of the broken fence one by one in an orderly manner.

They all followed the rules of the game, and even if they wanted to laugh they covered their mouths and tried not to make any sound.

Because Teacher Rong said that you are not allowed to make any noise while playing hide-and-seek. If you make any noise and get caught, you lose.

After the children crawled out through the fence, they went to look for the hole they had dug earlier.

The rule is still that the older ones take the younger ones, the stronger ones take the weaker ones, and several people form a group and hide themselves.

There were branches and dead leaves piled next to the pit. They hid inside and covered themselves with the branches and leaves. At first glance, it looked like flat ground, and it was difficult to find these hiding children.

They will not come out or make any sound until Teacher Rong says the game is over.

Lin Fang reported the matter to Chu Lichuan.

Chu Lichuan found it interesting, with interest in his eyes.

Why did Teacher Rong hide all the children?

Chu Lichuan raised his chin to Lin Fang. Lin Fang understood and took his men to the small courtyard behind the dormitory building.

The gaps in the broken fence were so narrow that only children and thin women could pass through.

These grown men just can't get through it.

They had climbed over a fence and entered the grove.

The woods were dense and overgrown with weeds. Lin Fang searched for a while before he saw Teacher Rong, who looked panicked and was spreading branches and hay.

When Teacher Rong saw Lin Fang and several men in black coming over, he was so scared that he turned around and ran away.

She ran in the opposite direction, obviously trying to lead Lin Fang and the bodyguards away.

Teacher Rong ran so fast that he accidentally tripped over some weeds and fell to the ground.

Lin Fang rushed forward and grabbed Teacher Rong.

Teacher Rong struggled constantly but made no sound. She was afraid that the children would worry about her and run out of the pit.

Lin Fang grabbed Teacher Rong's wrists with one hand and forced her to come in front of Chu Lichuan.

"What do you want to do? I know nothing." Teacher Rong's righteous look and his determination to never obey made Chu Lichuan more curious.

"What do you think we want to do?" Chu Lichuan asked instead of answering.

Teacher Rong suddenly couldn't hold it in anymore, started crying and begged.

"They are just children. They don't know anything. They are still young. Please let them live. Please, let them go!"

Chu Lichuan raised his thick eyebrows slightly, and said in a cold voice, "You think I would hurt those children? Why would I hurt them?"

Teacher Rong looked up suddenly and met Chu Lichuan's deep, dark eyes. Although he was angry, he lowered his head timidly under the invisible pressure.

"What do you want to do? You know it very well." Teacher Rong sniffed and held the black-framed glasses on his face.

She started crying again, her shoulders shaking, she felt helpless and frightened.

"I'm in your hands. I'll let you do whatever you want with me. I just ask you to let those kids go."

"They are all orphans who have no parents or have been abandoned. Their life experiences are pitiful enough. Just be kind to them. You will have children in the future..."

Chu Lichuan took two steps closer, and Teacher Rong was so frightened that his voice choked, and in the end, only low, trembling sobs were left.

"Teacher Rong misunderstood! I am not who you think I am! I am not the same as them."

Chu Lichuan's voice was so cold that it made people's hair stand on end.

Teacher Rong pinched her fingers, and a layer of stickiness appeared on her palms. She carefully glanced at the man in front of her out of the corner of her eye.

She was short and had her head lowered, so the only thing that could be seen was her long legs in straight trousers.

Even though one cannot see his expression at the moment, one can still feel the murderous aura emanating from him, making people subconsciously submit in front of him and not dare to act rashly.

"I...how do I know whether what you said is true or false? Maybe you are lying to me?" Teacher Rong said in a trembling voice.

There was fear and tenacity in her tone.

She wanted to delay a little longer, but just a little longer and the children would all run out.

No matter whether everyone can escape in the end, as long as everyone can escape, it’s good.

That was all she could do for her children.

Chu Lichuan chuckled, his tone cold, "Do children often go missing from this orphanage?"

Teacher Rong looked up blankly, his eyes behind the black-framed glasses full of confusion.

Obviously asking, how do you know?

"I am not in the same group as them. In other words, I am their opponent! Tell me what you know, maybe I can help you save those children!"

Teacher Rong bit her lip and said nothing.

She didn't trust Chu Lichuan.

This man looks scary and doesn't seem like a good person.

She didn't believe a man who looked so fierce and scary.

If he succeeds in tricking them into believing something, those children will be in danger!
