To seduce her

Chapter 753 Begging Mr. Qi

The servant's voice was firm and indifferent. After hearing it, Qi's father sighed deeply, with a bit of loss and unwillingness in his eyes.

"But……"

Qi's father wanted to ask again, but the servant opposite interrupted him.

"Even if you wait at the door, it will be useless. The old man will not change his decision."

Qi's father pursed his lips tightly, looking embarrassed.

The servant on the other side seemed to have heard Qi's father's hesitation and explained, "We are also following orders. I hope you can understand. The old man needs me, so I will go there first. Goodbye."

After saying that, the servant hung up the phone, and there was only a "beep, beep, beep" sound on the other end of the line.

Father Qi looked at the hung up phone and turned to look at Mother Qi beside him helplessly.

Mother Qi seemed to have understood something. She clenched her hands tightly, with a determined light flashing in her eyes. She was obviously unwilling to leave like this.

Qi's mother was unwilling to accept it, so she pretended not to realize anything and asked Qi's father: "How is it? What did the old man say?"

Father Qi slowly shook his head and let out a long breath: "You still don't want to see us."

"Did the old man say that himself?!" Qi's mother asked anxiously.

"No." Qi's father said in a low voice: "The old man even refused to answer the phone."

Mother Qi's face turned even paler. She clenched her teeth and said after a while, "Don't worry, let's wait and see. Since we are willing to take the initiative to find the old man, there will be a chance. Maybe the old man is just angry for a while, and he will calm down after a few days."

Father Qi looked at Mother Qi. He already knew the answer, but he had no choice but to follow Mother Qi's words and continue waiting.

……

Time passed by bit by bit, night gradually fell, and the surroundings became quiet and deserted.

In the darkness of night, the gate of Qi's house was closed tightly, like an invisible barrier, blocking Qi's father and mother out.

Father Qi sighed, with endless helplessness and disappointment in his eyes.

They had come here full of hope, hoping to meet the old man, at least to tell him about Qi Xiurui's physical condition and their predicament, so that he could know and find a way to help them.

But the closed door and the cruel reality are simply unacceptable.

There were always servants coming in and out of the gate of the Qi family's house, and when they saw Qi's father and mother, they would subconsciously look at them a few more times.

Those thoughtful and hesitant looks made Qi's father feel a little embarrassed.

He lowered his head and couldn't help but ask Qi's mother: "It's late, how about we ..."

But before Qi's father finished speaking, Qi's mother seemed to have understood what he meant.

"Wait a little longer!" Qi's mother's eyes were firm: "Maybe the old man will go out. Let's wait a little longer. We can leave after the lights are turned off inside."

Qi's mother was unwilling to give up. She held Qi's father's hand tightly. She was unwilling to leave, and refused to let Qi's father leave.

As the night deepened, the lights in Qi's house were bright, but outside the door it was quiet and dark.

Qi's father and mother just waited silently, hoping that the old man would change his mind and let them in.

After an unknown amount of time, the door of Qi's house slowly opened and a figure walked out.

The person who came was none other than Mr. Qi.

Mr. Qi walked steadily, with a dignified look on his face and a solemn and dignified demeanor.

When he saw Qi's father and mother, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes and his brows frowned slightly, seeming a little displeased.

"Why are you still here?" Old Master Qi stopped and asked in a cold voice, with a hint of unquestionable majesty in his voice.

Qi's father and mother became nervous instantly. They looked at each other subconsciously, with unignorable panic in their eyes.

Father Qi clenched his hands together, beads of sweat oozed out of his palms. He tried hard to control his breathing and not let his nervousness show.

Mother Qi bit her lower lip tightly, her eyes flashing with a mixture of expectation and worry. She seemed to be silently praying that the old man would give them a chance.

Listening to Grandpa Qi's words, Qi's father and mother held their breath, afraid to miss every word he said.

Father Qi opened his mouth, but the word "Dad" was stuck in his throat. He couldn't utter the word because of the look in Mr. Qi's eyes.

"We are here to wait for you..." Qi's father's throat tightened slightly, and his voice trembled a little.

"Wait for me?" Old Master Qi sneered, "Didn't he tell you? I've already told you that I won't let you in."

Father Qi took a deep breath and tried to make his voice sound calm and sincere: "I know you have some thoughts about us, but please believe us, we just want to come and see you and have a good talk with you..."

Old Master Qi frowned, seemingly unmoved.

Seeing this, Qi's mother hurried forward and said softly: "Please give us a chance. We really want to resolve the misunderstanding with you and become a family again."

"Talk? Misunderstanding?" Old Master Qi's eyes were full of disdain: "How dare you say such things? We already agreed at the beginning that we are no longer a family. Now you come back to me again, what is your purpose, you know best."

"It was my fault at the beginning!" Father Qi took a half step forward and looked at Old Man Qi pleadingly: "I was too naive at the beginning, thinking that there was nothing in this world that I couldn't do with my own efforts, but now I really understand..."

Upon hearing this, Mr. Qi frowned slightly, obviously not satisfied with what he said.

He said coldly: "So what if you understand? After missing out on so many years, do you think your admission of mistake now can change anything?"

"I know I can't change anything, but I still can't give up this opportunity." Qi's father's voice trembled slightly: "Dad, for so many years, I was unfilial, angry with you, and not with you... But now I just want to beg you, please forgive me, can we be a family again?!"

The slightly hoarse "Dad" obviously stunned Mr. Qi.

He knew how stubborn his son was, otherwise he wouldn't have stopped contacting his family for so many years because of some conflicts, refused to acknowledge him as his father, and even disdained his property.

Mr. Qi glared at him with a cold look in his eyes: "Between us, it's not that you admit your mistakes and I have to forgive you."

When Mr. Qi heard this, his heart tightened. He knew that Mr. Qi was not so easy to convince.

Qi's father still didn't give up and continued to beg, "Dad, I really know I was wrong now. Now that I'm a father, I know how cruel it is to never be able to see my own child..."

Mr. Qi's eyes flashed: "What happened?"

"Dad..." Qi's father's eyes were red: "If you don't help me, my son, your grandson, will not be able to continue living in this world... Please help us..."
