One big and one small are practicing love
Chapter 16 Sitting in a well and saying that the sky is brighter
Liu Xiaochen checked the information and learned that the giant screen theater of the China Film Museum is 27 meters wide, 21 meters high, and has 403 seats. It is the most advanced imaging system in the world.
Because of the basic understanding, the mind will not be overly nervous or excited by novelty. When your mind is calm, you can focus on the things themselves.
When Liu Xiaochen was involved in it and watched the film, he deeply realized that there is a fundamental difference between the knowledge in the mind and the real experience of the body and mind.
The picture is high-definition and huge, the sound effects are rich in layers, and more details and energy are delivered in a more sublimated and powerful way through high technology. These audio-visual experiences are completely different from those on TV and mobile phones.
Some knowledge and power cannot be conveyed through written words, but can only be experienced and witnessed in person.
Before watching the movie, Liu Xiaochen thought "Castle in the Sky" was just a cartoon for children to enjoy. After watching it, Liu Xiaochen knew that this animated movie was completely different from the cartoons she knew in the past.
It is not a fleeting moment on the audio-visual level, nor an emotional incitement of joy, anger, sorrow, and joy. Rather, it is a kind of energy that can be delivered to the heart through the creation of real and spiritual pictures, music that touches the soul, and plots that directly touch the soul, using the eyes and ears as the medium.
Watching such a film, whether a child or an adult, the heart can be truly nourished, inspired, and comforted. It is a real aid to growth.
After coming out of the cinema, the children went to the bookstore in the museum lobby and picked out a few books. "Biography of Hayao Miyazaki", several animation manuscripts of Hayao Miyazaki, such as "Spirited Away", "Kiki's Delivery Service", "My Neighbor Totoro", etc.
The psychological impact of watching "Castle in the Sky" in a giant-screen theater was too late to ponder and digest. We have to rush to the National Center for the Performing Arts of China.
When we came out of the Film Museum, it was almost 12 o'clock. It takes more than two hours to get to the National Center for the Performing Arts of China. When you get there, you have to check in and enter in advance. There was no time to eat in the restaurant, so they ate their own food in the car for lunch.
Liu Xiaochen took care of the children's eating, delivered water cups, paper towels, and food, told them to eat a balanced diet of sushi, fruits, biscuits, etc., and cleaned up the debris in the car.
After the children have eaten enough, let them rest with their eyes closed.
After asking, they learned that Master Zhao had had lunch near the film museum just now while waiting for them. Liu Xiaochen hurriedly stuffed some food into his mouth.
Set several alarms, one for herself to take a fifteen-minute nap, one for Zuo Yan to take medicine, and one for Zuo Xu to wake up. After doing all this, Liu Xiaochen felt a little sleepy, yawned twice, leaned against the car window, and closed his eyes to rest.
Due to traffic jam, when we arrived at the National Center for the Performing Arts, the concert was about to start.
Liu Xiaochen didn't have time to take a closer look at the theater, so he only took a quick look at the environment inside. The walls were made of large pieces of floor-to-ceiling glass, and the outdoor sunlight completely shone in, making it look brilliant and majestic.
Taking the children, we hurried to the concert hall on the second floor. The ticket checking had already begun. Liu Xiaochen first took the children to the toilet, washed their hands, and then checked in.
Their position was in the middle of the third row of the concert hall, so they could really see everything on the stage. Just three minutes after I sat down, the performance started.
All the lights in the hall were instantly extinguished, leaving only a white light on the stage.
The actors of the symphony orchestra were carrying violins, cellos, tubas, timpani and other instruments, sitting neatly on chairs, with the conductor standing on the stage in front. In the center of the stage, today's pianist Maxim sat alone.
Maxim is over 2 meters tall with three-dimensional and strong facial features. Wearing a black tuxedo with silver sequins, a black shirt, and black pants, he sat in front of a black Steinway grand piano. Before playing, Maxim just sat quietly and waited, and felt a mysterious aura condensed around him.
The first track is "Exodus".
The first thing that sounded was the military music played by the wind instrument. With the beating of several heavy drums, all the music played ups and downs. After playing a few beats, Maxim calmly raised his arms, slowly lowered his fingers on the piano, and moved flexibly and freely between the black and white keys, and several groups of notes sounded softly.
Suddenly, all the players played their instruments in unison, and all the sounds were intertwined, rich but each was clear and orderly. Even with so much music, Maxim’s piano sound is still the most prominent.
Not long after listening to it, Liu Xiaochen forgot everything. He just felt a surge of power deep in his heart. His whole body was warm and powerful, and hot tears kept rolling down. Each note is like a galloping army, like a surging ocean wave, and is extremely powerful.
This was the first time Liu Xiaochen felt how direct and powerful the power of music was. It's like there is a sleeping dragon hidden in my heart. It is awakened. This power is unimaginable, inexplicable and boundless.
Next is "Croatian Rhapsody" and "Flight of the Bumblebee", both fast-paced and powerful pieces.
Liu Xiaochen occasionally came back to his senses and saw Maxim's slender fingers flying, jumping, and pounding heavily on the black and white keys. His body undulated and danced with it, and he moved selflessly in harmony with the music. Maxim at that moment was breathtakingly beautiful.
There are also small funny scenes with flashes of humanity.
Liu Xiaochen clearly saw Maxim and a female violinist in the first row of the accompaniment group, smiling at each other.
At the same time, someone in the back row whispered: "Maxim played two wrong notes."
I watched this concert like a dream. Until he walked out of the National Center for the Performing Arts, Liu Xiaochen felt like he was floating when he walked.
Until I walked outside, the cool autumn wind blew on me, the noisy roar of cars reached my ears, and I saw cars and people filling the street. Liu Xiaochen finally felt a little awake.
On the way, the children fell asleep again. Liu Xiaochen was speechless all the way, just staring out the window at the busy traffic and flashing neon lights.
When I got home, my aunt had prepared dinner.
Liu Xiaochen took care of the children's meals, washing, and changing clothes. After finishing these tasks, with nearly an hour left before going to bed, she went to their study room with the children.
The study has a grand piano and a large walnut desk. There are wooden bookshelves on both walls, filled with various children's books. The bookshelves are equipped with small wooden ladders that can be raised and lowered. The children skillfully placed the books they bought today on their own bookshelves, then each selected a book and sat down at the big desk to read the book they chose.
The children read cartoon books by Hayao Miyazaki, and Liu Xiaochen read "The Biography of Hayao Miyazaki".
At 9pm, the children all went to bed.
Liu Xiaochen went back to his room, wanting to continue reading. But for some reason, when a person calms down, an indescribable sadness suddenly wells up in his heart, and he bursts into tears uncontrollably.
It was as if the world was suddenly turned upside down, and the whole person became confused, panicked, and scared.
What he saw, heard, and felt in just two days, Liu Xiaochen's body and mind were strongly impacted again and again. Why have I never heard of this in my past world? There is obviously only one world, so why do different people live in completely different worlds? How are you so different from the people in this city?
……
When Liu Xiaochen was crying uncontrollably, he suddenly heard a knock on the door.
Liu Xiaochen immediately covered his mouth and listened quietly. Hearing the clear "dang-dang" knock on the door again, he confirmed that the sound came from his own door, and then heard a shout.
"Xiao Xiao, are you there?"
It was Teacher Zuo’s magnetic voice, which was a little hoarse and weak.
