An idea suddenly came to my mind when I was angry. After reading novels for so many years, why don’t I write a novel? I just did what I said, so I began to conceive of a novel with a smart protagonist, an interesting plot, delicate emotions, a reasonable setting, and no cheats.

At the beginning, I had great enthusiasm, laying out the outline, listing various settings, and portraying each character... high-spirited.

But when I actually started writing, difficulties came one after another... I forgot to write when I started writing, and my mind was empty. How to describe the scene? How is the plot constructed? How to connect transitions? How to portray characters...

The difficulties involved are not enough for outsiders to understand.

Sometimes I sit for a whole day and can't write at all. For the first time, I realize that two thousand words is so much.

But my high fighting spirit supported me to continue writing. While learning the techniques of the masters, I also improved my own writing method. I persisted like this for a week.

On Sunday, I gave myself a holiday and lay in bed for a day. Then I lost control of my mood and started to mess around. The novel was shelved.

Nearly a week later, Tomato suddenly sent me a text message, inviting me to participate in a summer coding team battle event. The event lasted for seven days, and I coded more than [-] words per day. Because I had a few chapters saved, I wanted to participate. Okay, mix it with milk tea and drink it.

On the first day, the cruel reality gave me a huge blow. There were 7 people in a team. They were randomly matched and could not be contacted. All 7 people had to complete the task before they could draw the lottery. On the first day, there were only two people coding (including me).

My expectations were dashed instantly. I wanted to give up, but then I thought about it again. Now that I have posted the first chapter, should I try to write it down? Then I typed words by myself for seven days. The event ended. Unfortunately, we A big set of failures.

Logically speaking, I should stop at this point, but I was a little reluctant to part with my hard work and decided to continue writing.

From then on, I never slept in late or woke up early or late at night. When you start doing something seriously, you will find that there is not enough time at all. All the time, whenever I think of a good idea, I write it down and send it to my personal account.

In this way, I persisted until signing the contract yesterday, August 2023.8.22, [-], and I wrote this paragraph.

Because it is my first time to write a novel, and I have to take into account my studies, the coding speed is relatively slow, and the author does not want to write a novel. Currently, I update it once a day, and after I become proficient, it will become two updates a day.

The word count cannot be increased in a short period of time, because I am an old bookworm, and I also know how uncomfortable a novel with a short word count can seem.
