So I heard that for a while, the Buddha lived in a lonely monastery in the Sāvatṣṇa Garden. It was late at night, and one day the divine light shone all over the garden. He came to the Buddha's place, bowed respectfully, stood aside, and said a verse to the Buddha: "All the gods and humans are eager to gain benefits, think about happiness, and ask for the most auspicious blessings."

The World-Honored One replied thus:

Don't get close to stupid people, associate with wise people, and respect the virtuous. This is the most auspicious!

It is the most auspicious to live in a suitable place, be virtuous in the past, and be on the right path!

It is the most auspicious thing to learn a lot about craftsmanship, strictly observe all taboos, and speak pleasantly to people's hearts!

Serving your parents, loving your wife and children, and pursuing a career that is harmless is the most auspicious!

Giving good character, helping relatives and having flawless behavior is the most auspicious!

It is most auspicious to refrain from evil deeds, refrain from drinking alcohol, and be steadfast in virtue!

Being respectful and humble, contented and grateful, and listening to the teachings in a timely manner are the most auspicious things!

It is most auspicious to be patient and obedient, to be able to see all the ascetics, and to discuss your faith at the right time!

Living a self-controlled and pure life, understanding the Eightfold Path, and realizing the Dharma of Nirvana is the most auspicious!

Being unmoved by the eight winds, free from worries and pollution, peaceful and free from worries is the most auspicious!

Those who practice this will be victorious and will receive blessings everywhere, which is the most auspicious!

Eliminate disasters and avoid disasters: The first merit of chanting "Namo Amitabha"

To learn Buddhism is to become a Buddha. We always refer to Namo Amitabha Buddha exclusively. We have no doubts and no confusion. We rely on the Buddha’s great vows and karma to determine our rebirth.
