I'm waving my magic wand in Marvel

Chapter 9 Bakery and Little Kid

To John, it was no big deal if it didn't cost him his life.

Knowing that someone was targeting his parents, John would not sit idly by.

Judging from SHIELD's tone, it seems that the other party has other intentions against itself.

Then spend this holiday generously.

He didn't believe that even though he was shopping so blatantly, the other party would still be able to sit still.

Lead the snake out of the hole.

It’s a rare vacation, maybe a little tension and excitement would be good.

Since you are pursuing excitement, then follow through to the end.

The next morning, he stood in front of the mirror and touched his clothes with his wand.

Originally, the suit and vest turned into casual attire, so he changed into several sets in succession, and finally settled on the brown one.

It has to be said that magic has conveniences that technology does not.

"This young face is really easy to cause misunderstanding."

A 30-year-old person still has the face of a high school student. A rich woman is willing to pay 100 million for this maintenance method.

Open the garage, and luxury cars are waiting for you.

Unfortunately, John doesn't have a driver's license.

As a good, law-abiding citizen, John would not do anything like driving without a license.

Well, no.

...

New York is a diverse city.

You can see all kinds of people.

Rivington Street.

Dark-skinned guys wearing big gold chains with half-stretched butts exposed gathered together and euphemistically called it street rap.

Suddenly, a speeding sports car scared a little brother out of his ancestral rap talent, and he broke through the limit to rap here.

The yellow Lamborghini stopped in front of a bakery with the roar of its engine.

The eye-catching luxury car style appeared, and John, wearing casual clothes, came down with long legs.

"Kowalski's Bakery, I used to come here when I was a kid."

His first stop was to revisit his hometown.

Standing at the door, John took a deep breath.

The baking aroma and unique bread shape attract passers-by.

The bread inside has a strange shape.

For example, there are those that look like woolly monkeys, and there are also those that look like rhinos, platypuses, and dodos.

Only John knew that those strange shapes were all magical animals from the magical world.

This is an old store that has been open for more than 80 years. In the short history of the United States, this store can be called an antique level.

The craftsmanship of this shop has been passed down for three generations.

It's hard to figure out why Muggle bakeries have magical animal shapes.

Its loyal old customers have long been accustomed to the shape and taste.

The glass door of the store opened, and a long queue stretched out.

There is a reason why this store has been open for so long.

Women like its quirky and cute shape, while men like its cheap, substantial portion and delicious taste.

Not long after John got in line, he heard a voice running behind him in a hurry.

"Mei, hurry up."

The ten-year-old boy took Mei's hand, his face flushed from running, and hurried slowly to line up behind John.

The boy tried to look past the long queue and see the delicious bread inside.

The woman named Mei has long brown hair, wears an ordinary striped shirt, and wears colorless rimmed glasses, but she doesn't look rustic.

With enough good looks and a hot figure that couldn't be concealed by clothes, the woman gasped slightly, causing the men in line to turn around secretly.

John also looked back. The boy was standing on his feet, counting the delicious bread in the bakery.

"Oh no, the shaggy monkey bread is almost gone."

See there are three left.

The bursting monkey bread with jam smeared inside was his favorite. The boy quickly closed his eyes and prayed that he could buy it.

Maybe his prayers were having effect.

As the line got shorter and shorter, the cute shaggy monkey was still there.

There were only two people left in front of the team.

The American aunt at the front was hesitant, which made the boy's heart agitate.

He muttered: "Don't choose the woolly monkey, don't choose the woolly monkey, please, God."

Even God was moved out.

This made it difficult for the aunt not to give face. She heard the boy's thoughts, turned around and gave him a friendly smile, bought some rhino jam bread and left.

The boy smiled and cast a grateful look at his aunt.

The only person left is myself.

And there are three more shaggy monkey breads.

He had already begun to fantasize about himself and Aunt May having a hairy monkey bread each.

Full of anticipation, he heard the man in front speak.

"I want these three."

Reality was like a heavy hammer, hitting the boy's young mind hard.

The boy watched blankly as the three hairy monkey breads were put into the bag, and the person in front turned to look at the boy.

For some reason, he seemed to see a hint of mischievous amusement in the man's eyes.

After buying bread from the store, John leaned against the luxury car and enjoyed it.

It has a soft texture and seems to have jam inside.

He saw the boy coming out.

The boy who didn't buy the bread he wanted didn't make a fuss, which was surprisingly calm.

Despite his disappointment, he did not cause any trouble to his guardian.

At this point, a ten-year-old boy has surpassed too many children.

When the boy saw the man who bought three loaves of bread, he reluctantly glanced at the bread in John's hand.

Mei couldn't bear to see him disappointed.

"Peter, wait for me." She told the boy.

"Sir," Mei walked quickly to John and asked, "Can you exchange a piece of bread with me?"

John raised his eyebrows, put down the bread he had eaten, and looked up and down at this beautiful aunt.

You can't say she's an aunt, after all, she's only ten years older than you?

big sister?

"It's okay to exchange, but why exchange?"

He looked at Mei quietly.

Mei Dafang smiled confidently and said, "I think you might like other flavors."

"Then you really think about me," John chuckled, "That's not a very good reason."

"But there is one sentence you said that I admire very much."

John handed over the bag containing the bread and said, "When you come to me, you are exchanging, not asking for."

"I like equal exchange," he said with a shrug, "so I said yes."

The boy was overjoyed when he heard the promise.

"Thank you very much, sir." The boy took the bag and said happily, "I'll give you the rhino bread."

May was happy to see Peter happy.

She said gratefully: "Thank you, sir. Peter likes this bread very much. When his mother was still alive, she would bring him here to buy it."

As she said this, she looked at Peter with pity.

He and Peter had only each other to rely on in this city.

"This is not something worthy of special thanks, it is just an exchange of equal value."

John raised the rhino bread in his hand, shook it, and said with a smile: "You also paid the price."

Mei thought this man was very interesting. He talked about equal exchange.

Just when John was about to say goodbye to this special pair of 'mother and son', his troubles came knocking on his doorstep.

"Hey, the car is nice." The dark-skinned bald man walked over with his unique tortoise steps, "Now we have to figure out what you did to scare my brother just now."

The little brother wearing a 'fashionable' half-butt outfit that revealed those leopard print briefs stood next to the good big brother.

There were people vaguely surrounding John.

Mei and Peter suffered unreasonable disasters, and when those people saw Mei, they whistled contemptuously.

He looked at Mei's body with those unfriendly eyes.

This is a very offensive thing.

"Are you flirting with her?" The bald man chuckled and put his hand on John's shoulder, "To be honest, I am the only one worthy of her."

"I'm already calling the police."

Mei pulled Peter away from the approaching gangsters, took out his hand, and threatened forcefully, "You'd better leave quickly."

"Hot, I like it." The gangsters smiled evilly at Mei.

John turned a blind eye to the bald head and asked, "Has this place always been in such a mess?"

"No, this isn't Hell's Kitchen." May retorted.

When John heard this, he looked at the bald man holding his shoulder and said seriously: "You heard me, this is not Hell's Kitchen."

"You should be glad that this is not the case," the bald man leaned close to John's ear and threatened with a sinister smile, "Maybe you give me your car and I will let you walk out intact."

"Okay," John immediately took out the car keys and said to the bald head, "This will ensure our safety."

The bald man smiled and was about to take it.

Seeing that John seemed to have discovered something, he said in surprise: "Wait, look what I found."

Under the confused gaze of the bald man, John took out a pencil from Mei's pocket.

"Mei, you didn't tell me that you brought this thing."

His reproachful tone made Mei confused, "This is just a pencil."

It's not a weapon.

"This is a pencil!" John emphasized.

Picking up the pencil and turning it flexibly between his fingers, he turned his head and said nonchalantly: "Now, you'd better hand over the money you have."

These words, as if they had lost their minds, made these low-level gangsters confused.

How many dishes do you drink like this?

Have you started dreaming before it gets dark?

The bald man laughed angrily, "I think you are seriously mentally ill."

"You may not believe it," John said seriously, "This thing in my hand is very dangerous."

"Fake!" The bald man glanced around and saw that there were no police around, and was about to come up to teach John a lesson.

The spinning pencil in his hand stopped, and John held the pencil backwards.

It was so fast that an afterimage was dragged out, and the palm stretched out by the bald man was pierced and nailed to the cover of the luxury car.

Before the scream could be heard in time, John came closer and whispered into the bald head's ear; "Look, you are connected to this car."

"Crazy, you are crazy!"

The bald head shouted, attracting everyone's attention.

John glanced at the gangsters who were stunned by this scene. He grinned and slowly took out the pencil nailed into the car hood.

The blood squeezed out from the wound on his palm made the bald head scream again.

Blood slid down the yellow car paint, leaving shocking traces there.

The gangsters are just bullying and dominating the market. I have never seen such a real ruthless person.

He almost rolled and crawled on the ground, abandoning his dear brother and running away.

May and Peter were stunned.

The man who was harmless before turned into a paranoid lunatic in the blink of an eye.

It's hard to hold back.
