In fact, during the design process, the designers considered putting four ct30 gas turbines on the ship. If four CT30s are really packed in, the total horsepower of 052 will reach a terrifying 17.6 horsepower.

A warship of less than 17.6 tons has horsepower. If it were to move at full speed, the speed could easily exceed knots or even higher.

However, after careful study, this plan was finally abandoned. Although it has high horsepower, it can run fast, but it has a short range and consumes a lot of fuel. All in all, the gains outweigh the losses, and there is some excess power.
