After the reduction, DS Holdings still holds 17 billion shares of Woaw Technology, with a shareholding ratio of 33.58%, a significant decrease from before.

However, DS Holdings' voting rights in Woaw remain at 51%.

The reason why DS Holdings began to reduce its holdings in Woaw Technology was not only to cash out, but mainly for the future development of Woaw Technology.

After all, DS Holdings previously held a very high stake in Woaw Technology, which was rare among major American IT companies. For example, Apple, Microsoft, and Google did not have shareholders holding nearly half of the shares...

If the shareholding ratio continues to remain at this level, a company of Woaw Technology's size will inevitably cause dissatisfaction among many other capitals - they must always be given the opportunity to share in the profits.

Currently, Woaw Technology’s major shareholders include Sequoia Capital, Goldman Sachs, and Blackstone Group, but this is not enough. There are many more large capital groups including Vanguard Group, BlackRock Group, and State Street Corporation that have the need to invest in Woaw.

Only by allowing more capital of this kind to enter can most of the resistance in Woaw's subsequent mergers and acquisitions and development be reduced. Otherwise, with a company of your size, if you want to conduct a slightly larger-scale merger and acquisition, an antitrust investigation will be in big trouble.
