Hogwarts: I'm a model wizard

Chapter 945: Consciousness Transfer

Voldemort lowered his head and looked in disbelief at the flame that suddenly appeared in front of him.

In a sense, the combination of the spell of Fire God Opening the Way and the Fierce Fire is the sharpest sword that can easily destroy all obstacles in its way.

Previously in the Hebrides, the combination of these two spells could even easily cut an island in half.

Although there wasn't such a big scene this time, Voldemort's body was not as hard as an island.

Just as Voldemort was shocked by the death of the basilisk, a flash of red flame appeared in front of his chest.

Voldemort finally came to his senses, staggered back, and looked down at the blinding red flames in disbelief.

After a while, cracks began to appear on his body, like soil that had been dried out in the sun.

Soon, the Fiendfyre disappeared, but more and more cracks appeared on Voldemort's body, and a faint red light could be seen flowing inside.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but could only make a series of inarticulate whimpers. His red eyes became even brighter, completely covering the slender pupils inside.

With a bang, Voldemort's body suddenly tilted and then fell heavily to the ground. Tom Riddle lay on the ground like a crudely made sculpture.

In an instant, the surroundings became quiet.

Rosier, who was watching the show from the side, had a confused expression on her face. She never expected that Kyle actually killed Voldemort.

How on earth did he do it...

"Woo...ah..." A sudden moan broke the silence.

It was Snape who was not far away. His body seemed to be out of control and began to shake violently. His eyes rolled back and his mouth opened slightly...

Faintly, Kyle seemed to hear bursts of shrill howling coming from far away.

Snape was shaking even more violently and almost jumped up.

"That Voldemort did something to him."

Rozier seemed to be in a good mood and kindly reminded Kyle, "If you want to save him, you'd better do something now."

"I..." Kyle frowned. It was easy to say, he didn't even know what Voldemort had done. When he asked Rosier, she could only float there without saying a word.

There was no choice but Kyle to walk forward quickly. Several thick branches reached over and tightly wrapped around the shaking Snape, holding him in place.

But then Kyle got into a bit of a dilemma.

He didn't know what had happened to Snape, so naturally he didn't know what to do.

How about tying him up and stuffing him in a box, and letting Fawkes take them directly to St. Mungo's?

Kyle thought about it. It just so happened that he didn't want to get involved in the love-hate relationship between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. This was a good excuse for him to leave the forest reasonably.

So be it.

Kyle looked at Fawkes, but before he could say anything, he saw a flash of scarlet in Snape's unconscious eyes from the corner of his eye.

Kyle was stunned.

If he saw it correctly, that scarlet red seemed to be the color of Voldemort's eyes...

He made Snape into a Horcrux... No, that's not right. The function of a Horcrux is only to ensure that Voldemort will not die, it cannot replace him.

and many more……

Kyle suddenly remembered something, it seemed like it was a few years ago, when the Death Eaters broke into the Department of Mysteries and wanted to steal the prophetic crystal ball that recorded the information about the savior.

Later they failed, and Voldemort showed up at the Ministry of Magic and had a fierce battle with Dumbledore.

At the end of that battle, Voldemort used a special magic... his consciousness entered Harry's body, and Harry's situation at that time was exactly the same as Snape's now.

Did he just transfer his consciousness into Snape's body?

The more Kyle thought about it, the more possible it seemed. This might also be the reason why Voldemort didn't want Kyle to rescue Snape.

Because he wants to transfer his consciousness, there must be a carrier around him.

Kyle definitely won't work. This had been verified back then at the Ministry of Magic. After all, Voldemort's first target was Kyle, and he later turned to Harry when he found that that didn't work.

Rosier is even less of a good choice. As a veteran dark wizard, no one knows how many tricks she has.

From this perspective, the most suitable candidate is the unconscious Snape. The movement just now might be Voldemort's consciousness fighting against Snape's brain occlumency.

Subconsciously, Kyle quickly pulled the Dementor out of the box, ready to let it go up and give Snape a kiss.

But the next second Kyle hesitated.

Is consciousness considered a soul?

If that doesn't count, what if the Dementors sucked Snape's soul away.

In just this moment of distraction, Voldemort seemed to have defeated the brain-occlusion technique, and Snape's eyes turned completely red.

"Happy, aren't you?" Snape said, "You almost killed the great Dark Lord."

"It's you." Kyle sighed.

"So what?"

"Why can't you save us all some time?" Kyle raised his wand. "If I can kill you once, I can kill you a second time. What's the point of doing this?"

"Come on then." Voldemort seemed to be laughing. "I am curious, will you kill Severus?"

"You can try it."

"I learned something very interesting." Voldemort said to himself: "You seem to get along well with a witch named Prince, and the only relative of that Prince is Severus."

"Will you kill him?" Voldemort's smile became more obvious. "Do it quickly. I will wait and see."

Kyle didn't move.

"You're hesitating, aren't you?"

Snape began to struggle, trying to break the thick branches that were entangled around him.

"You don't dare kill Severus, ridiculous sentiment... Ha, your weakness is the same as Dumbledore's."

"Who says I dare not."

Kyle took a step back and said expressionlessly, "If someone used the Killing Curse on Snape at this moment, it would kill you completely."

"Will you?" Voldemort asked.

"You didn't deny it, so it seems like this." Kyle narrowed his eyes, took a step back again, and looked up at Rozier?

"I'm not very good at the killing curse, I'll leave it to you..."

"Are you sure?" Rosier raised his eyebrows. "I have to say, the relationship between you British wizards is really interesting. If I heard correctly just now, this person is the only relative of your wife. Do you want to kill him?"

"Don't talk nonsense. She's not your wife yet," Kyle corrected.

"Is that all you want to emphasize?" Rozier's voice gradually grew colder, and his eyes were filled with disdain when he looked at Kyle.

"Don't talk nonsense. If you don't want to kill Voldemort, just pretend I never said anything."

"Avada Kedavra!" This time Rosier did not hesitate at all and swung his wand downward with force.

She didn't care about the relationship between these people. They were all British wizards anyway, so she took action without hesitation.

"Damn, why..."

Voldemort never imagined that Kyle wanted to kill him so much. Even though he occupied Severus' body, the other party's only concession was to not do it himself.

But isn't it Dumbledore and his people who value feelings the most?

This Kyle...how come he didn't hesitate at all?

Now Voldemort was really scared.

Just like Kyle said, if Snape was killed by the Killing Curse at this time, he would be killed at the same time.

And Voldemort didn't think they were acting, because he could tell at a glance that it was a real Killing Curse.

No, he can't die!

Just as the Killing Curse was about to fall, Voldemort finally couldn't bear it anymore, and instantly left Snape's body and ran straight towards Kyle.

Kyle calmly held out his wand.

"It's useless. Even if you use Fiendfyre, you can't kill me now!" Voldemort's voice came from all directions, with a hint of hysteria.

Well, anyone would be angry if Kyle ruined their plans time and time again.

"I will... kill you..." The voice was getting closer, as if it was right in front of me.

Kyle's mouth curled up slightly, then he suddenly closed his eyes and waved the wand in his hand vigorously.

Two orange eyes flew out from the dead basilisk's head, spinning around in the air, looking like two searchlights.

Then, Kyle heard Voldemort's painful roar.

"Ah...ah..."

"You should...you..."

After a moment, the sound disappeared, as if it had never appeared.

Voldemort is dead, completely dead this time. Although he did not die at the hands of his nemesis Dumbledore, it is at least better than more than ten years ago. He was not killed by the rebound of his own spell... It is not too embarrassing to tell others about it.

"Avada..."

Before Kyle could breathe a sigh of relief, a green light fell from the sky. Fortunately, he dodged it in time.

Kyle opened his eyes and looked up at Rosier in the sky.

"what do you mean."

"Don't you know?" Rosier said coldly, "The eyes of the basilisk... You wanted to kill me too, didn't you?"

"How could that be? I reminded you." Kyle said, "I made a gesture for you to close your eyes, but you didn't see it."

"Heh, remind me..." Rozier laughed angrily, "Do you think I'm a fool?"

She was sure that Kyle wanted to kill her. If she hadn't known about the existence of the basilisk in advance and had been more careful, she might have really seen the basilisk's eyes.

Besides, who would have thought that thing could still be useful after it died.

Thinking of this, Rozier became even angrier and wanted to kill Kyle immediately for revenge, but soon she came up with another idea.

"Well, I'm sure you didn't mean it," she said suddenly.

Facing Rozier's sudden change of attitude, Kyle was stunned for a moment before continuing, "That's good. Although we were enemies in the past, at least we are teammates now. How could I deliberately kill you? This is impossible."

"No need to explain, I understand everything." Rosier said, "So I hope you can understand later that I accidentally revealed that you killed Severus Snape."

"Don't talk nonsense."

"Nonsense?" Rozier said jokingly, "Do you think it won't matter if you don't do it?

"I tell you, it's impossible. I really want to see how you will face that witch. What's her name?"

"Connor Prince." Kyle said very considerately: "Besides, why should I be afraid to face her? Snape is not dead."

"Ha, I think you are really crazy." Rosier sneered, "How can you survive after being hit by the killing curse?"

She saw it clearly just now. Although Voldemort's consciousness had left his body, the Killing Curse fell firmly on the wizard named Snape.

She couldn't be wrong about that.

"Is it weird?" Kyle shrugged. "Didn't Harry Potter survive the Killing Curse? This is totally normal."

"These are two different things." Rozier blurted out.

"If you don't believe it, why don't you check it out for yourself?" Kyle said with a smile, "Take a closer look. Is Snape really dead?"

Rosier didn't understand why Kyle insisted that the wizard was not dead... How could she not know whether she had used the Killing Curse herself or not, and whether it worked or not?

So she looked up at Snape, ready to break Kyle's unrealistic fantasy...

"Oh! What's going on?!"

Rozier's eyes suddenly widened, even completely stretching out the wrinkles on his face.

The wizard named Snape is actually still alive.

No, it must be fake.

Rosier flew over immediately and went straight to where Snape was, wanting to see what was going on.

Kyle didn't stop him, but just watched leisurely from the side, watching Rozier's changing expression.

"He's actually not dead... This is impossible, how is this possible?"

Rozier had never seen such a situation before, someone could survive after being hit by the killing curse...

If she had heard it, she could explain that the other party had changed the spell and used some special means.

But she saw all this with her own eyes. Not only that, even the killing curse was cast by her, so there was no possibility of replacing the curse.

But so what.

Rosier felt the veins on his head throbbing and his head swelled. He subconsciously wanted to find Grindelwald to report the situation here.

But the moment she turned around, she saw something special.

On Snape's wrist, two silver phoenixes were flying continuously, but the color of one of the phoenixes was fading little by little.

By the time she noticed this, the phoenix had completely disappeared.

The only remaining one fell back onto Snape's wrist, becoming a silver, inconspicuous ornament.

This is Connor's thing. To be precise, Nicolas Flamel used alchemy to change the Phoenix Potion that Connor gave him and then gave it back to her.

The function is also very simple and crude, which is to resist two killing curses.

When at Hogwarts, Kyle discovered that Connor's bracelet was missing, but unexpectedly it appeared in Snape's place.

It’s strange that this thing can be taken down... or is it because Snape and Connor are related by blood?

Kyle shook his head and didn't care too much.

It was after he saw this thing just now that he decided to let Rosier use the Killing Curse on Snape.

Kyle didn't know how to expel Voldemort's consciousness, so he decided to take a gamble. He bet that Voldemort would not risk his own life, and he would definitely give up Snape before the Killing Curse was completely cast.

Facts proved that his guess was correct. Even though he knew that he could not escape without Snape, Voldemort still came out.

Then he was completely destroyed by Kyle using the Eye of the Basilisk.

Rozier didn't know what the truth of the matter was, but she could see that the ornament transformed from the silver phoenix was very unusual.

Perhaps it was because of its existence that Snape was not killed by the Killing Curse.

Rozier's eyes lit up and he subconsciously wanted to reach out and take the bracelet-like ornament.

If this thing can resist the Killing Curse, then its value will be immeasurable. Grindelwald must need this now...

"Hey, Ms. Rozier, this isn't your thing."

A branch stretched out to block Rosier's way, and at the same time another branch stretched out and swept away the unconscious Snape. "Just watch from the side, it's a bit too much to take action."

"Stop, put it down!" Seeing Snape being taken away, Rosier subconsciously stretched out his wand and pointed it in the direction where the branch was coming from.

"What are you doing, Ms. Rosier?" Kyle, who was sitting opposite her, also raised his wand and asked seriously:

"Am I to understand that the battle between us can now begin?"

"of course not."

After seeing the person opposite him clearly, Rozier's expression changed rapidly again. He then took a deep breath, squinted his eyes and said, "I'm just curious about alchemy and want to take a closer look at his thing."

"Oh, then it seems I misunderstood." Kyle said, manipulating the branches to stuff Snape into the box.
