Hogwarts: I'm a model wizard

Chapter 911: Everyone's reaction, Kyle leaks the secret

On this day, Hogwarts fell into great panic. The lights in the castle remained on all night and did not go out until the early morning.

All classes were suspended, and the competition originally scheduled for the next day was postponed indefinitely or might be cancelled.

Because in the next two days, many students were hurriedly picked up from Hogwarts by their parents, including members of the Quidditch team.

Half of the Ravenclaw players left, and the remaining people, plus the substitutes, could not even form a team.

And even if they could, they probably wouldn't be in the mood to compete.

The number of people leaving the school was still increasing. Kyle saw Seamus Finnigan from Gryffindor arguing with a witch who wanted to take him away in front of the closed door of the hall.

The other person should be his mother, and the two of them were arguing fiercely in the hallway.

There was no point in trying to persuade Seamus to leave school until he got his diploma, but his mother insisted on not agreeing.

The two of them had very loud voices, which attracted a lot of people.

Perhaps because she felt a little ashamed, or perhaps out of respect for Dumbledore, Seamus's mother finally agreed to let him stay and attend the funeral.

But that's it.

Seamus agreed.

Seeing that there was nothing exciting to see, Kyle walked away from the castle and returned to the garden behind his cabin.

Dumbledore, who was being mourned by everyone at this time, was sitting on a wooden bench, reaching out to tease the Romanian longhorn dragon that was several sizes larger than before.

The tree wasp, which usually has a bad temper and is lawless, is now lying on a nearby open space, as obedient as a moon-crazy beast.

"Oh Kyle, you're back..." Dumbledore turned his head and glanced at him, "Your place is really nice. You must have put a lot of thought into it."

"Not really, just killing time." Kyle said, looking at Dumbledore who seemed fine.

"Professor, are you ready?"

"Preparation? What preparation?"

"After the truth was exposed, he was prepared to be beaten to death by Professor McGonagall." Kyle said calmly, "Professor McGonagall has been heartbroken these past few days, and her eyes have been red all the time."

"Only then will Tom believe it," said Dumbledore.

"That being said..." Kell paused, "But based on my understanding of Professor McGonagall, if you appear in front of her later, she will most likely make this happen. Professor Snape will also probably help."

Dumbledore's face froze.

"It's okay." He smiled reluctantly. "This is the price that must be paid, and I believe Minerva, there is still some teacher-student relationship between us."

"Just keep it in mind," Kyle said.

"What's the situation outside?" Dumbledore came back to his senses and asked, "Those Death Eaters..."

“More people are coming to the neighborhood.”

Kyle said, "Yesterday I went to the Hog's Head Pub, where several Death Eaters held a grand celebration and blatantly used the Cruciatus Curse to torture a wizard who did not praise Voldemort in time."

"It seems that they can't wait any longer." Dumbledore's eyes flashed. "Are they ready to accept Hogsmeade as their territory so soon?"

"That's right, isn't it?" Kyle said. "If you're dead, how can anyone stop them?"

"The professors at Hogwarts are not docile sheep," said Dumbledore.

"But they can't stop the You-Know-Who." Kyle said, "Oh, by the way, when I came, I saw someone sneaking into the hall. It should be a Death Eater mixed in with the guests to confirm the situation.

"The human transformation you performed should be fine. If they find out, your reputation will be ruined."

"That's absolutely fine. You can rest assured about that." Dumbledore was very confident. "No one would be able to see the flaw unless Tom came in person."

"What if the mysterious man really comes?" Kyle asked curiously, "I always feel that we have gone a little too far. Letting almost all the students see you fall from the tower is a bit deliberate."

"Tom won't think so much." Dumbledore shook his head. "As you said, his broken soul can't let him notice such tiny details."

"And even if he comes, I have other ways." Dumbledore blinked, "Don't forget, this is not the first time I have done something similar."

Not the first time...

Kyle remembered that in Godric's Hollow in 1899, it was Dumbledore who pretended to be Arianna and deceived Aberforth and the guests.

He does have experience in this regard.

Kyle went over and sat down next to Dumbledore.

"Hagrid never came back?"

Kyle was not in school all the time these two days. He also needed to go outside to observe the movements of the Death Eaters.

He only knew that Dumbledore was hiding in the garden temporarily. It was close enough to the castle and usually no one would come here. It was the safest place besides the Room of Requirement.

The only thing worth noting is that Hagrid may come over at any time.

"No." Dumbledore shook his head. "I only saw Hagrid's bed, but I didn't see him in person. But this is also good news."

"Although I trust Hagrid and can entrust my life to him without hesitation, sometimes he is always too straightforward.

"If I remember correctly, Harry got a lot of confidential information from him."

Kyle glanced at Dumbledore. "Isn't the news Harry got from Hagrid what you wanted to tell him?"

"Most of the time, but not always," Dumbledore admitted simply.

"Harry is different from you. He needs to grow up. A maze full of crises and experiences is better than repeated sermons."

Kyle shrugged, noncommittal.

But speaking of Hagrid, Kyle subconsciously thought of his haggard appearance when he saw him at the door of the auditorium just now.

It looked like Hagrid had been there for two days, and not even the dragon could pull him back from the castle.

Make Dumbledore's dream come true and add another great player to the team?

Maybe.

But Kyle still felt that given Hagrid's character, he would most likely not attack Dumbledore.

It's not good to be too honest, it will make Kyle less fun.

He really wanted to see Professor McGonagall, Snape and Hagrid team up to target Dumbledore.

There was a knock on the door, bringing Kyle back to his senses.

He looked up and found that Dumbledore, who had been sitting next to him just now, had disappeared.

The visitor was Professor Sprout, who told Kyle that the date of Dumbledore's funeral had been set, and it would be tomorrow.

Kyle nodded to show that he understood.

"Professor, would you like to come in and sit down?"

"No." Professor Sprout looked sad. "So many people are coming that Minerva can't handle it."

She turned around and went back, forgetting even to take the dragon manure that Kyle had prepared for her.

"Professor, you are really guilty of a serious crime." Kyle said dimly.

A sigh came from behind.

If possible, he actually didn't want to use this method.

……

In the evening, a dozen huge silver-maned horses with wings appeared at Hogwarts, pulling a light blue carriage as big as a house.

Ms. Maxime, the headmistress of Beauxbatons, came out of the carriage and cried on Hagrid's shoulder.

Representatives from the Ministry of Magic also came, this time it was a formal delegation, which also included heavyweights such as Minister Amelia Bones and Head of the Auror Office Scrimgeour.

Kyle also saw his dad Chris, but not with the Ministry people, but standing next to an old couple.

Newt and Tina.

The three of them stood at the edge of the forbidden forest, looking at the castle silently, with sadness on their faces.

Kyle trotted over to the three of them and asked, "Dad, why are you here?"

"Mr. Scamander must come and see." Chris said softly, "I can't find any reason to refuse them."

"After more than sixty years of friendship, I must come and see Albus off." Newt's voice trembled.

"Child, I heard that you saw the whole process. Can you tell me what happened?" Tina asked.

After receiving the news, she rushed back from Ilvermorny as soon as possible, without even having time to change her clothes.

"Even Grindelwald couldn't kill Dumbledore... How could a teenage student possibly do that?"

As she spoke, Newt's body shook involuntarily, and Chris beside him hurried forward to support his arm.

"I can only say this is a conspiracy." Kyle sighed, "Do you need me to take you in? It's too cold here. The school has prepared accommodation for guests."

“No, I’ll just watch from here.” Newt shook his head. “No one from the Ministry of Magic or Hogwarts will want to see me, so I won’t cause any trouble for them.”

"Well, okay." Kyle said intentionally or unintentionally: "And I don't think it's necessary. Let's come next time."

Chris turned his head sharply to look at Kyle, and the expression on his face changed rapidly three times in a short period of time.

From shock to confusion, and then to a sense of sudden realization mixed with disbelief.

Will this happen next time?

Unless... that idea was obviously a bit too shocking, and Chris once wondered if he was thinking too much.

But he knew Kyle, and that statement certainly wasn't meaningless.

At this time, Kyle also looked at him and smiled slightly.

"Let's go back." Chris said decisively to Newt and Tina, "It's a bit too cold here, and the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic are always hanging around. If they see you, I'll have to write a lot of reports again."

Newt didn't seem to want to leave so soon, still staring at the castle.

Dumbledore was not only the person he respected the most, but also his friend of more than sixty years. How could he just look at him and leave?

At this time, it started to drizzle.

"Why don't you go to my place?" Kyle pointed, "I built a wooden house next to the forbidden forest. It's not far away, and you can see the direction of the castle from there."

This time Newt nodded and walked towards the cabin with Chris's help.

The eye contact between Kyle and Chris just now did not attract his attention, but it did not escape Tina's eyes.

As a senior Auror, how could she not notice the little actions of the two people.

Tina deliberately slowed down her pace and walked side by side with Kyle, who was walking at the back.

"I heard you became a professor at Hogwarts." Tina said, "I haven't congratulated you yet."

"He's just a professor on leave, the kind that only goes to class one day a week," Kyle said.

"That's quite impressive. After all, you're not even twenty years old yet."

Tina narrowed her eyes, "And what happened between you and Chris just now... Honey, you must know what I want to ask, right?"

"I know." Kyle said, "If my answer is what you think, what will you do?"

"I would beat him up without hesitation." Tina took a deep breath, "But Newt definitely doesn't want me to do that."
