Hogwarts: I'm a model wizard

Chapter 901: The Principal and the Magic Rune of Freedom

Kyle actually knew from the beginning that Sassia would come, because he asked Laton to send a letter to St. Mungo's last night.

It’s just that the time he agreed on in the letter was noon, and he didn’t expect Sasia to come so soon.

Outside the door, a witch who looked similar to Dumbledore was standing there with a frown on her face.

"Mrs. Sassia, it's great to see you here..." Professor McGonagall walked over.

"No need to be so formal, Minerva." Sassia hugged her. "Please forgive me for not being able to attend your inauguration ceremony as headmaster. I have too many things to do. I hope it is not too late to say congratulations now."

"Of course..." said Professor McGonagall.

To be honest, she was completely confused during the inauguration ceremony and didn't even notice who was sitting there.

The two witches, both tall and thin with serious expressions, stood together and looked like two older sisters.

"Welcome, Pegasus..." Dumbledore also came over, "I'm surprised to see you outside of St. Mungo's."

"Long time no see, Albus." Sassia nodded.

After a brief greeting, she turned her gaze to the door, looked at Hagrid who was spinning in circles, and frowned again.

"Albus, is he also a professor at the school?" Sassia asked doubtfully, "I just thought his brain seemed to be affected by some kind of magic, but after a careful examination, I found that it was not.

"Is this some kind of ritual at your Hogwarts? Or is it a habit of half-giants?"

Sasia could clearly feel that something was wrong with Hagrid. She moved her fingers and out of professional instinct, she wanted to study it carefully.

"Ah, just a little trick." Dumbledore said with a smile, and with a wave of his hand, the symbol on the door dimmed instantly.

Hagrid finally stopped and noticed the group of people standing next to him.

He wanted to say hello, but as soon as he opened his mouth, he felt something trying to come out of his stomach.

Hagrid no longer cared about being polite. He covered his mouth and stumbled into the forbidden forest behind.

"vomit!"

The scene was a little awkward.

"I'm sorry to have embarrassed you." Professor McGonagall glared at Kyle with a stern face.

Kyle pulled the corner of his mouth and turned his face away.

In fact, he thought of Hagrid who was still outside in the garden, but he didn't pay too much attention to it.

Kyle felt that with the physique of the half-giant, the alchemical mist should not have much effect on him, but now it seems that the effect of alchemy is different from magic.

Sasia looked at the performance of everyone present... Although she still didn't know what happened, she guessed that it must be related to Kyle.

She raised her head and looked around, then drew her wand.

At the edge of the forbidden forest, seven or eight nameless wild flowers floated into the air, quickly shrivelled, and a few drops of juice merged into a pool of clear water.

Then, Sasia picked a few leaves from a mountain pear tree, crushed them and mixed them into the clean water.

Dumbledore was the first to react. He turned a stone into a bottle and caught the water that had changed color.

"Let the half-blood giant drink it, it will be good for him." said Sasia.

"I have no doubt about that." Dumbledore smiled.

The most famous potion master in the wizarding world... Even if she said that the things Professor Sprout took away were useful, Dumbledore would give Hagrid a spoonful without hesitation.

"Excuse me for a moment." Dumbledore walked towards Hagrid with the bottle in his hand, and said, "Oh, Minerva, I just remembered that Horace wanted to see you about something. It seems to be about purchasing potion materials."

Of course he could tell who Sasia was looking for this time.

Professor McGonagall reacted a little slowly, after all, she was not very clear about the relationship between Sassia and Kyle.

However, she understood Dumbledore's hint and called Professor Flitwick to return to the castle together.

After everyone left, Sassia couldn't help but laugh and said, "Albus is still so considerate."

"Who said it wasn't?" Kyle shrugged. "Dean, when did you get here?"

"An hour ago," said Sassia.

"Didn't you write me a letter last night? It just so happened that the potion for this morning needed to be brewed for a while, so I took the time to come here."

"Then what I mentioned in the letter about the school hospital..."

"I've met Poppy." Sassia said, "Although I can't cooperate with Hogwarts on behalf of St. Mungo's, I can share some potion formulas with the Hogwarts Hospital on my own behalf."

"It has nothing to do with St. Mungo's. It's my personal potion recipe." Sasiya emphasized again.

Kyle also understood that St. Mungo's must remain neutral, especially in the current situation. The Death Eaters would definitely not want to see St. Mungo's and Hogwarts get too close.

But this was enough, at least he had done what he promised to Madam Pomfrey.

Last night, when Dumbledore suggested taking a break and having a midnight snack, Kyle did not stay in the headmaster's office all the time, but found an excuse to go out.

He went to the school hospital and made an offer to Madam Pomfrey that she couldn't refuse...cooperation with Sassia.

It was Sassia, not the Headmaster of St. Mungo's.

After all, Kyle was well aware of the situation at St. Mungo's and would not make things difficult for her. He did not mention the content of the cooperation, and it was all up to them to discuss it themselves.

Madam Pomfrey agreed and voted on the spot. Kell also wrote a letter in front of her and had it sent to St. Mungo's by owl.

If this had not been the case, last night’s meeting might not have produced any results by now.

"Thank you," Kyle said sincerely.

Sasia raised her eyebrows but didn't say anything, just looked at him.

"Oh, I almost forgot." Kyle slapped his forehead, reached into the bag, and took out two bottles, one large and one small. "Don't worry, your trip won't be in vain."

"As a thank you..." He handed the larger bottle to Sassia, "This is basilisk blood, almost a pint."

"And this, basilisk venom." Kyle pointed to the small bottle about the size of a thumb.

"It's just that there might be some dragon blood mixed in here, so it's not so pure anymore."

"It's okay. Although it's a little troublesome, I have a way to separate them." Sashiya looked at the dark red bottle with an increasingly strange expression.

"But I'm curious why dragon blood is mixed into the basilisk's venom...

"No, it would be more appropriate to say that there is venom mixed with dragon blood. At least two-thirds of this is dragon blood."

It's not like she hasn't seen real basilisk venom before, which is light yellow in color, but this one in her hand is completely the color and texture of dragon blood, and it's the kind that's rotten and spoiled.

To say two-thirds is an understatement.

"It's all the same, all the same." Kyle said with a wry smile, "Dragon blood is also very precious, isn't it? Just consider it as an extra gift from me."

He had just extracted the venom from the wound on the wasp's body, making good use of the waste.

The reason why the Hornet was so quiet and couldn't be woken up was because it was poisoned by the basilisk and fell into a coma.

All I can say is that it's both naive and playful. If Kyle hadn't instructed in advance that the basilisk was not allowed to kill the tree wasp, it would have been eaten as a midnight snack long ago?

The blood of the basilisk came from this way as well. The tree wasp was a vegetable, but it also left many wounds on the basilisk's huge body. Just find a few containers and put them under the wounds to collect the blood for a while. That's enough.

Sasiya twitched the corner of her mouth.

Dragon blood is expensive, but she has no shortage of anything that can be bought. What she needs are materials related to the basilisk.

Fortunately, the basilisk had enough blood, so the trip was not in vain.

Sasia put away the two bottles and walked into the cabin at Kyle's invitation.

"I heard that you are going to be a professor at Hogwarts?" She looked around the cabin and shook her head.

There are too many windows and the light is too bright, which is not suitable for brewing potions. Just remove the windows on the roof and the left side.

But this was where Kyle lived after all, so she couldn't say anything.

"Yes." Kyle nodded. "I have offended the You-Know-Who quite a lot recently, so I came to Hogwarts to hide. It just so happened that the school wanted to find someone to replace Professor Babel, and I have a certain amount of knowledge in magic runes, so I came here in time."

Sasia just felt her throat was a little dry.

Have you offended the mysterious man too many times?

It was really eye-opening. It was the first time she heard such a wonderful reason.

In the entire wizarding world, there are wizards who have offended Voldemort, but most of them have only one fate... being killed by him with the Killing Curse.

The only person who could survive by angering Voldemort is a half-wizard.

Dumbledore is one of the people Voldemort fears the most, and this is well known.

And that savior, Harry Potter...he can only be considered half.

As an experienced witch, Sassia knew very well that it was not Harry Potter who killed Voldemort, but a magic cast by Lily Evans.

The title of Savior was given to the child more because the Ministry of Magic wanted to quell the panic caused by the Death Eaters as quickly as possible.

So the person Voldemort really wanted to kill was Lily, but she was already dead, and only Harry Potter was still alive.

But now there is one more person, even if it is only temporary, it is surprising enough.

And that sentence... it happens a bit too often.

It seemed that Kyle had done something that she didn't know about, and it was not a small thing, enough to make Voldemort want to kill him at all costs.

Could it be the last time in the Gringotts vault... Probably not, because Voldemort did not show up at that time, there was only one Death Eater.

However, Sasia was not a curious witch. She did not ask in detail what Kyle had done and took the initiative to skip this topic.

"It would be nice to be a professor at Hogwarts," she said softly, "maybe in a few years, you'll be able to become the headmaster."

"Impossible." Kyle waved his hand.

"Why, you don't believe it?" Sassia glanced at him, "Don't you think it's too coincidental? Why would Minerva and Albus suddenly agree to give Bathsilda a holiday?

"From what I understand, the Hogwarts headmaster has a hard and fast rule that one must have been a professor at the school."

"Maybe that's true, but it's still impossible." Kyle said with a calm expression, not showing any excessive excitement.

Maybe Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall really had this idea, but it was just an idea.

Dumbledore, the greatest White wizard, defeated Grindelwald, the Order of Merlin, First Class.

Professor McGonagall, the most famous master of Transfiguration and a dedicated vice-headmaster.

But both of them became principals when they were around 80 years old.

Kyle had seen the portraits in the principal's office, and all those who became principals through normal channels were about this age.

He is not even twenty years old yet, it's still early.

Besides, Kyle also knew himself. Even if he had been a professor in the school for sixty years, he couldn't guarantee that he would not run away halfway... just like Professor Babeling.
