Hogwarts: I'm a model wizard
Chapter 864: Aberforth is persecuted
As Hogsmeade's most notorious profiteer, Aberforth hated two things the most.
The first thing was naturally to praise Dumbledore in front of him, no matter who it was or in any way, even if it was just saying that Dumbledore's beard was white, Aberforth would secretly increase the other person's wine money by 30%.
As for those who slandered Dumbledore... To be honest, even though most of the people who came to the Hog's Head Inn were daring people who walked on the edge of Wizarding Law, even among them, few dared to speak ill of the headmaster so close to Hogwarts.
If there really is such a fool, raising the risk by 50% should make him realize how dangerous this is... In short, it is forbidden to mention the name Dumbledore in the Hog's Head Inn.
Besides that, Aberforth didn't like people talking about his treasure, the goat that was always chewing something behind the counter.
If someone tries to take advantage of it, or gets drunk and says something excessive, it usually doesn't end well.
Over time, the regulars of the Pig's Head Bar basically knew the boss's rules and would not deliberately provoke him.
But today, two brainless outsiders came to the bar.
"In my opinion, leg meat should be grilled and served with black pepper to remove the smell and enhance the flavor. Even Headmaster Dumbledore agrees." A young red-haired boy sitting at the bar said seriously.
Next to him, a middle-aged man shook his head and said, "No, I still insist that Dumbledore prefers stewing."
The people around them were stunned by what they said. Although they were only discussing how to cook the ingredients, judging from the way they occasionally glanced at the corner of the bar, the ingredients they were talking about were most likely the sturdy hind legs of the goat.
And these two people are naturally Kyle and Dumbledore.
I don't know what the Hogwarts headmaster was thinking. He used Transfiguration to disguise himself before coming in, and he also tidied up Kyle as well.
"That's because you don't know Dumbledore." The young man slammed the table and said firmly, "Stewed, it smells so bad. Dumbledore must like it roasted."
Great, now we know for sure that they are talking about that goat.
Talking about Dumbledore in the Hog's Head and trying to stew the boss's goat... isn't this going to be fun?
Everyone around became interested. Those who were drinking stopped, those who were talking lowered their voices, and everyone, consciously or unconsciously, cast their eyes on the two people, one big and one small, in front of the bar.
The boss here did not disappoint them and appeared in front of them like a ghost.
"You...are you planning to give my goat to Dumbledore as a delicacy?" Aberforth said slowly, squinting his eyes.
Kyle was a little nervous at first. Although he could still walk Aberforth like a Niffler not long ago, it was a special situation after all.
Aberforth is now an old wizard over a hundred years old. Coupled with his last name... Kyle was very worried that he would see through his Transfiguration.
Fortunately, Dumbledore was clearly more skilled than Aberforth, who did not see through Kyle's Transfiguration and seemed to have treated him as just a strange customer.
"What goat? I warned you not to talk nonsense."
After realizing that he had not been discovered, Kyle became bolder. He tilted his mouth and tilted his neck and said, "Look at how dirty your goat is. Even a mop in a Muggle's house that hasn't been washed for two years is cleaner than it..."
Aberforth's eye twitched noticeably.
He bathes the goat more frequently than he bathes himself. Dirty? Isn't this nonsense?
This person is here to cause trouble!
Aberforth narrowed his eyes and began to think about how to throw the man in front of him away.
Dumbledore also touched Kyle below, as if to signal him to slow down, but Kyle seemed not to feel it and continued to pout and say:
"If this thing were to enter Hogwarts, the house-elves would throw it out as garbage the next second. Would Professor Dumbledore eat this? He would really put Galleons on his face."
"You're not trying to establish a relationship with Headmaster Dumbledore. And then use his name to save your... shabby bar."
"You said, I want to have a relationship with Dumbledore?" Aberforth gritted his teeth, his eyes became more dangerous.
But the people around were getting more and more excited.
From the moment he entered the door until now, this arrogant boy has stepped on landmines three times accurately. He will probably be thrown out by the boss in the next second.
This kind of thing happens all the time. Although the boss looks very old, he is very skillful when throwing people and shows no mercy at all.
Their favorite program is to watch the guys who were thrown out and the boss playing piano on the family tree through the door, which can help them learn a lot.
Some people have even taken out their small notebooks to take notes.
However, to their disappointment, Aberforth did not do anything radical. He just pointed his finger and said calmly, "Get out. You are not welcome here."
The boy was very cooperative. Although he was still cursing, he left the bar. The middle-aged man beside him quickly followed him.
That's it?
The spectators around booed in disappointment. This was far from what they expected.
"I was hoping to learn some new words to scold old Fed." A witch with her face wrapped in a headscarf said dissatisfiedly, "The owner of the Hog's Head Inn couldn't have been replaced by someone else."
Her words were also recognized by most people. After all, in their impression, the old man's temper was not so friendly.
But is this really the case?
"You shouldn't have provoked him like that."
Outside the Hog's Head Inn, Dumbledore said helplessly, "Aberforth hates being compared to me the most. It has been like this since school. Once someone mentions this, he will rush up to fight with the other person and use his fists to prove his strength."
"Professor, you're going too far." Kyle glanced at him and said, "It was you who wanted to cause trouble, and I was just cooperating with you."
"I just wanted to see him angry, but I didn't mean to really make him angry," Dumbledore said righteously.
Kyle stopped and looked at him in disbelief. "Professor, you are becoming more and more shameless."
"Same here." Dumbledore waved his hand. "Just a reminder, watch your back."
As Dumbledore finished speaking, Kyle subconsciously turned his body to the side.
At the same time, a light red spell flew past his ear, and judging from the color, it should be a stun spell.
Someone attacked?
Kyle was stunned for a moment. After leaving the Hog's Head Inn, he and Dumbledore didn't have a specific place to go. They just randomly chose a direction and walked forward.
In addition, the Hog's Head Inn was located at the very edge of Hogsmeade village. Before they knew it, they had walked to the Forbidden Forest. There was no light nearby and it was pitch black. It was indeed a good place to strike a blow.
But who's after them... those shady guys at the Hog's Head?
Kyle's hands trembled, and he grabbed his wand and prepared to turn around to get a better look.
But there was someone faster than him.
Dumbledore seemed to have known that there was someone behind him. He turned around at an incredible speed and without even using his wand, he just swung out with his fist.
"Crack!"
"boom!"
With a muffled sound, a figure fell to the ground with a thud.
"A... Aberforth?"
Kyle looked at the man lying on the ground and blinked.
Whether intentionally or unintentionally, Dumbledore's fist just now hit the opponent's nose bridge.
As expected, the first sound Kyle heard was the sound of Aberforth's nose breaking.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't expect it to be him," said Dumbledore.
Kyle put away his wand and sneered.
He had reason to believe that Dumbledore had done all this on purpose, just to avenge the fact that Aberforth had broken his nose ninety-seven years ago.
Aberforth thought Ariana was dead, and in anger he punched Dumbledore and broke his nose at her funeral.
Dumbledore also thought that Ariana was dead, so he had no intention of treating her. It seemed that he wanted to atone for his sins in this way.
This also caused his nose bridge to be crooked, which looked extremely uncoordinated.
Kyle took another look at Aberforth lying on the ground...even the broken position was exactly the same. If this was a coincidence, it would be too much of a coincidence.
Kyle would rather believe that Dumbledore rushed over to seek revenge as soon as he learned that Ariana was still alive.
No wonder before entering the Hog's Head, he kept hinting that he was trying to find a way to anger Aberforth. Kyle thought it would be fun to watch, but he didn't expect it to be this purpose.
This petty old bee, not only wanted to take revenge on himself, but he even wanted to put the blame on a kind-hearted young wizard. When did he become so shameless?
"Professor..." Kyle looked at Dumbledore expressionlessly, waiting for an explanation.
"It was all a misunderstanding. I thought it was a Death Eater." Dumbledore said calmly, "But I'll have to trouble you to send Aberforth back. I have to go accompany Ariana."
Dumbledore pointed to the left.
In the shadows, a man in a black hood was standing there.
"Arianna?" Kyle frowned, "So what are you going to do?"
"To smooth out the effects of time and prepare for the next time travel." Dumbledore said, "With nearly a hundred years of time flowing, there are always going to be problems... such as the two dragons that appeared out of nowhere and Ariana's empty tomb... We need to solve these potential troubles now."
"Fire Dragon... How can I help?" Kyle asked seriously.
"No, you don't have to do anything. This is my task." Dumbledore smiled. "All you need to do is wait patiently for the day when you can return to the past. Leave everything else to me."
At this point, Dumbledore's tone was filled with unparalleled confidence, a confidence in his own strength.
"Well then." Kyle shrugged, "I wish you the best, Professor.
"By the way, are you really not here to seek revenge on Mr. Aberforth?"
"Not at first." Dumbledore blinked, "But since you have created this opportunity for me, it would be a pity not to seize it. After all, that punch from him caused me pain for ninety-seven years."
……
Dumbledore disappeared, and with him, Ariana, who was standing in the shadows.
Kyle turned his head and looked at Aberforth lying on the ground, and suddenly felt a little sorry for this unfortunate guy.
When he was young, he was constantly compared with his genius brother at school. When he got older, he couldn't find out that his beloved sister was still alive. He even had to endure the teasing of his own brother and had his nose broken for no apparent reason.
Thinking of what he had just said, Kyle felt a little guilty.
What a pitiful old man! I should be nicer to him in the future.
Kyle sighed, took out his wand and waved it gently.
Aberforth's shirt fluttered up, and the strong fabric lifted his upper body, as if someone was grabbing his neck.
Kyle led him towards the Hog's Head Inn, leaving two long marks behind him, just like when he dragged him downstairs in Godric's Hollow.
As for why he used this method... of course it was convenient. He couldn't just carry him back. He had never even carried Kanna like this, let alone carry an old man.
Anyway, he is unconscious now and doesn't know anything. We'll treat him well when he wakes up.
……
Dumbledore controlled his strength very well, and by the time the two men arrived at the door of the Hog's Head Inn, Aberforth began to regain consciousness. His thigh twitched at first, and then he slowly woke up.
Kyle loosened his grip and dodged to the side.
Aberforth stood up shakily and looked at the door that was close at hand, as if he was recalling what had happened before.
When he was fully awake, he suddenly felt a piercing pain on his face, so painful that tears came out.
"Ow!"
"Damn it, don't let me know who you are!"
"*****!"
At night in Hogsmeade, all the wizards who were still staying nearby heard a shrill scream, followed by the sound of piano keys tapping gently on the family tree.
Not far away, Kyle looked at the other party's energetic appearance, nodded with satisfaction, and returned to Dorset County with peace of mind.
As soon as he entered the room, he saw Newt leaning over the table writing something.
"Is it done?" Newt asked, looking up.
"Yeah." Kyle nodded, "And he took the blame for the principal."
"What do you mean?" Newt asked curiously, putting down his quill.
"We went to the Hog's Head," Kyle recounted what had just happened.
"He went to such great lengths just to punch his own brother, and he pushed everything onto me. It's such a shameless act. I even suspect that I have brought back a fake Professor Dumbledore."
“Who says it isn’t true?” Newt laughed. “I also feel like he’s become a different person after coming back this time… I didn’t expect Ariana to have such a big influence on him.”
"After all, it's a knot in his heart that has been entangled with him for more than a hundred years..." Kyle sat down next to Newt and sighed, "But in a sense, this is also a good thing."
"That's right... Oh, this is for you." Newt took out a box and handed it to him.
"When you left, I had already arranged all your magical creatures, but there is one thing I must remind you. Dementors are not undead creatures in the absolute sense. You cannot keep them hungry for a long time."
"I just forgot..." Kyle scratched his hair and said embarrassedly.
"I've researched some food suitable for them, and here it is." Newt handed the parchment in his hand to Kyle. "Thanks to you, this is the first time I've come into such close contact with these dark creatures. Together with the new species discovered by Liondragon and Locknir, the next edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will add at least 30 pages."
The food that can replace happiness and hope...was just developed?
Kyle smacked his lips. He had always thought that Newt already knew about this, but he didn't expect it to be freshly made.
I have to say, it’s outrageous that Newt still has to be the one in Fantastic Beasts.
Kyle took the parchment.
The content was similar to what he had learned from Dobby before, but it was more detailed, including how to use the Patronus to affect the herbs and how much air-winged bird saliva to add.
“Remember to keep it safe,” Newt said. “It’s best not to let anyone else see it.”
"Yeah." Kyle nodded.
Although it is not known whether the Dementors can continue to serve as jailers of Azkaban, it is better to keep this method of influencing them as secret as possible.
If the secret were to be leaked, Kyle doubted whether someone would come up with a different idea, such as taming Dementors. After all, for most wizards, these dark creatures were almost unsolvable.
Kyle read the contents of the parchment again, and after making sure he had memorized it, he threw it into the fireplace next to him.
