Chapter 23 Crown

Li Ang walked around the house and was very satisfied.

Although he didn't specify what type of secret base it was, the house he wanted was basically there.

Two rows of tables in the corner are used for growing and processing herbs.

Next to it is the table and cauldron for brewing potions.

On the other side of the room are several alchemy dolls used for magic training. They have two pulleys under their feet and a terracotta warrior-like figure on top. However, this "terracotta warrior" holds a wand in his hand.

There are also many sleeping bags and various daily necessities in the corner of the house.

"Tsk, tsk, I really didn't expect that there is such a place in Hogwarts?" Frant looked incredulous.

"Li Ang, how do you know this place?" Annie ran around and looked around, with a look of novelty on her face.

"Of course it's because I know everything..."

"Bang!" Annie shook her hair, and her twin ponytails almost hit Li Ang in the face.

"Leon, since that guy Nott has also used this place, can we..." Severns leaned nearby and asked softly.

"Look what he's doing here? I'm afraid not."

"Because we have no idea what he needs."

Severns did not believe in evil, and several people came in and out several times. Apart from being familiar with how to use the Room of Requirement, they could not find the room that Roland Nott had used.

Seeing that it was almost eleven o'clock, several people parted ways at the top of the stairs and went back to their respective homes.

The following days were quiet and peaceful, at least this week the Slytherin senior didn't make any small moves.

And Li Ang got his wish and went to the principal's office to open a small stove on Saturday night.

This time, Dumbledore was waiting in the office early.

"Good evening, Mr. Green." Dumbledore raised the jar in his hand, "Would you like some cockroaches?"

After looking at the overly realistic jar of cockroaches, Li Ang issued a soul torture.

"Uh, principal, if you eat this... aren't you afraid that it will be real?"

"Ah, when I was young, I forgot to close the lid once, and as a result..."

Li Ang quickly waved his hand, indicating that he didn't want to listen anymore.

Even the principals around him had expressions of disgust.

"Okay, then, before we go to class today, I want to show you something."

"After last Saturday, I visited some old friends and made some progress."

"In fact, I have always had this suspicion over the years..."

Dumbledore took out a small bottle from his pocket. Inside was a silver thread-like floating object.

"This is……"

"A memory." Dumbledore said briskly, pouring it into the pensieve.

Li Ang caught a glimpse of several scenes with sharp eyes.

Then, the two of them plunged their heads in one after another...

The two people stood in a classroom, and Li Ang recognized it at a glance. This was the Defense Against Dark Arts classroom.

However, the layout inside was different from the current Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

A young man with dark hair and pale face stood in front of an old man with white hair and beard, helping the old man sort out his homework.

"So, Professor, are you really going to retire?" the young man asked softly.

"Oh, yes, Tom, yes," the old professor thumped his waist, "I am too old! I have no energy. It should be time to enjoy my old age."

"After I retire, a new professor will take over for you. Don't worry. Albus and I will carefully consider the new teacher for this course."

"Then I wish you a happy retirement life in advance!" The young man chuckled, and then asked in a casual tone: "Professor, can I ask you another question?"

"Oh, what's the problem?" the old professor asked with a smile.

"Professor, have you ever heard of the term 'Horcrux'?"

The expression on the old professor's face gradually disappeared.

"Tom, I remember telling you..."

"Never! Never! Never! Never explore the secret of eternal life!"

"Nicholas has already paid the price for eternal life! This is based on the fact that he is a great alchemist and a prophet!"

"As for other people walking on this road, it's even worse!"

"I'm glad you remembered everything I said in class, but that shouldn't be a reason for you to be curious!"

"As for the 'Horcrux' you just mentioned..."

"I can only tell you that it is the most evil and despicable thing in this world..."

"You go out, Mr. Riddle, I want to be alone for a while."

The young man in the memory bowed slightly, with the same respectful and humble expression on his face.

The picture blurred for a while, and Leon and Dumbledore's consciousness returned to the office again.

"So, principal, this is..."

"The memory of an old friend," Dumbledore reached out and fiddled with the memory in the pensieve. "He just passed away not long ago. Before he left, I convinced him to leave this memory to me for safekeeping."

"He will be the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, who happens to be the senior Tom who taught you."

"So...he was thinking about Horcruxes at that time?" Li Ang thought thoughtfully.

"But... Principal, I don't understand. Even in "Advanced Black Magic Revealed", there is no record of how to make Horcruxes, right?"

Dumbledore walked to the desk and sat down: "Yes, Mr. Green, Horcrux has been a taboo among taboos since it was invented by Halbo. There is no book that records its production method."

"But, your senior Tom has undoubtedly been found..."

"I believe that another old friend of mine may have given him a little help in this matter..."

"We all know that he is not someone who will be easily satisfied, so I guess one Horcrux may not be his limit."

"Of course, principal, my ambitious senior is determined to build seven..." Li Ang rubbed his temples and said the terrible truth in the most nonchalant tone.

"Sure enough..." The expression on Dumbledore's face became even more bitter, "He really... made seven?"

"I'm afraid it's almost the same, Principal. As far as I know, although there was an accident when making the last one, he still succeeded... although he may not have realized it himself."

"So, do you know the whereabouts of these Horcruxes?" Dumbledore looked at Leon with hope.

"Part of it," Li Ang nodded, "At least, there is probably one in the school now."

"where?"

Li Ang shrugged, knowing that if he didn't take Comrade Deng to find the crown, he might not be able to sleep tonight.

"Come with me, Professor."

"However, you owe me a 'Vulcan Clearing the Way'..."

Dumbledore shook his head and laughed.

"I'm afraid you can't learn this magic yet, Mr. Green."

"It's okay, let's keep accounts first."

Ten minutes later, Leon brought Dumbledore to the Room of Requirement.

However, this time, Li Ang opened the room where things could be hidden.

The two of them searched for a full hour, and finally, relying only on vague memories, Li Ang found the bust of the wizard with the crown in the original work.

"It has a strong smell of dark magic..." Dumbledore frowned and looked at the bust.

"So, this Horcrux is..."

"Crown, professor, Ravenclaw's crown," Li Ang looked at the statue with a pale face, "but I'm afraid it has been taken away by someone now..."
