Hogwarts, was gnawed at the beginning

Chapter 6 Welcome to Diagon Alley

After Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall left, the Ellisons were stunned for a long time.

But they no longer objected to Soul going to Hogwarts.

Angel played like crazy for a long time that day.

Mrs. Ellison returns to her childlike innocence and realizes her dream of riding a unicorn, although her body is a bit too big compared to the unicorn Dumbledore specially conjured up for Angel to play with.

After Dumbledore's magic lasted all night, it was back to normal the next morning.

Of course Angel cried loudly and hugged the chair that had been transformed into its original shape, refusing to let anyone touch it, including her favorite brother Soul.

In addition, she kept asking Suer every day when the old man with the white beard would come again.

"Guo Guo, I also want to ride a unicorn." Angel started again.

"Ouch, my head hurts so much." Suer raised his hand to cover his forehead with a painful expression on his face.

The silly Angel believed it, and she started shouting in a hurry, calling her mother.

When Mrs. Ellison came over, she was also startled when she suddenly saw Su Er blinking at her.

She understood, so she pretended to ask Suer a few times and then knelt down and looked at Angel with a sad expression on her face, which was fake no matter how hard she looked.

But the innocent Angel couldn't tell the difference.

"Brother has a disease," Mrs. Ellison said solemnly.

"Then what should we do? Let's send my brother to the doctor's grandfather immediately." Angel was anxious.

"But this disease is easy to cure." Mrs. Ellison changed her tone. "As long as you stop talking about riding a unicorn, your brother's disease will be cured."

Angel still didn't understand what was happening, she was already five years old.

"Humph, my brother and mother are both bad guys, and they bully Angel together." Angel turned around angrily.

In the next few days, she no longer mentioned the unicorn.

But she didn't say a word to Su Er, even if Su Er had her favorite snack in her hand, she ate it, but she didn't speak.

After knowing the whole story, Mr. Ellison smiled and wisely did not express any opinions. The children should resolve the matters between them by themselves. The intervention of adults would make matters between children more complicated.

This morning, Mr. Ellison did not go to work at the company. He specially set aside a day to prepare to follow Soul to Diagon Alley.

He is also full of curiosity about the magical world.

The same goes for the Grangers.

Before setting off, Su Er quietly came to Angel's side.

"Oh, I'm going to go shopping in the Magic World." Suer said loudly on purpose, "I wonder if a little guy wants to go with us?"

Angel played with the toys in his hands, raised his head, rolled his eyes at Suer, and turned his back.

"There will be unicorns for sale there."

Angel's ears perked up when she heard the unicorn, but she still didn't speak.

"If Angel doesn't say she wants to go together, Guo Guo doesn't know whether to take her with her." Su Er sighed.

He deliberately took a few steps in place and pretended to leave.

As expected, Angel turned around anxiously, only to see Su Erhaosheng standing there looking at her with a smile.

"Huh, bad Guoguo!" She angrily stepped forward and slapped Suer several times.

"Ouch, ouch, do you want to beat Guoguo to death?" Suer squatted down pitifully, as if he was really in pain.

"Pfft." Angel couldn't hold it back and finally laughed.

Su Er breathed a sigh of relief, stepped forward to hug Angel and comforted her for a few words, and then led Angel to the door. The Ellisons had already started the car, and the Granger family was waiting for them.

Don't make this little girl angry next time.

"Hehe." Hermione saw the whole audience at the door, including Soul's fake performance.

"You deserve it," she said.

She had a great time playing with Angel these days. Su Er wanted to join in pitifully, but Angel just didn't give someone a chance and kept her entertained for several days.

Soul glanced at Hermione sideways and said nothing.

There will be something interesting for you to see in the future, just wait!

The car entered the city smoothly, drove on the city's avenues, and finally stopped on a street.

"Are you sure this is here?" Mr. Ellison looked around for a few times, but there was no store called the Leaky Cauldron.

He couldn't believe that there was an entrance to the magical world on such a busy street.

"It's here, Dad." Suer glanced at the address on the letter. "It says we have to go a little further. We can see it as long as we hold the letter."

The group passed by a bookstore, a record store, a hamburger specialty store, a movie theater, and finally stopped at a large bookstore that was larger than the one they passed just now. On the other side of it was another record store.

"Here." Suer had already seen a shabby and small bar, with only a door and its signboard exposed.

It says---The Leaky Cauldron.

"Where is it?" The Ellisons looked around, but still couldn't find it, and the same went for the Grangers.

"I saw it!" Angel held Hermione's hand with one hand and pointed with the other hand between the bookstore and the record store.

But the four adults only saw a dark red wall.

"I forgot." Soul said with a smile, raising his hand to grab Mr. Ellison's arm.

Hermione followed suit.

Now, everyone saw it.

"This..." Mr. Ellison looked at the dilapidated and dirty bar front and hesitated, "Haha, this is really ugly."

Su Er raised his eyebrows and smiled.

Angel didn't care if it was dirty or not, she just pulled Hermione and walked inside.

Guo Guo said, there are unicorns for sale there!

The group of people quickly swarmed in, and the surrounding pedestrians hurried away as if they couldn't see them or notice them.

No one could have imagined that the space here would be so large, but it was indeed a bit dirty and dark.

Soul looked at everything around him curiously.

A dozen tables, whose age was evident from the stains on them, were scattered on the wooden floor. An old woman was smoking a long pipe. She was wearing a pointed hat and a few cloaks. People were huddled together chatting quietly.

"Are you a new student? Come to Diagon Alley to buy things for school?"

An old man with almost all his hair, who looked like a shriveled walnut, suddenly appeared in front of Suer and asked with a smile.

On his shoulder was a dirty piece of cloth whose original color could not be seen, and he was holding a tray in his hand.

"Yes, old sir." Suer nodded politely.

"Oh Huahuo, you are such a polite kid. I am the boss here. You can call me Tom. Everyone here calls me that." Tom let out a weird and unpleasant laugh.

He didn't sound like a nice guy, and Mr. Ellison frowned.

"Come on, little wizard, follow me. It's your first time coming to Diagon Alley and you need me to take you there."

"Are you sure it's true? Why is this person so weird?" Hermione pursed her lips and patted Soul.

"It's okay." Suer said, "This should be the norm."

Old Tom led the seven people through the bar and came to a small courtyard surrounded by walls behind the house.

Seven people crowded this small space to the brim, and a trash can with a half-open lid stood quietly under the wall facing everyone.

"Remember, little wizard, you have to do it yourself next time." He said, "Have you seen the trash can? Count three pieces upwards - and two pieces further in."

Old Tom gave everyone instructions and then said,

"We don't use Muggle currency here," he said.

"What are Muggles?" Hermione asked.

Old Tom glanced at the four adults who were looking around and said, "Muggle is a name for people who don't know magic. Oh, of course, there is no discriminatory meaning. This is a saying passed down a long time ago."

Hermione nodded silently.

"Stand back, gentlemen and ladies." Everyone squeezed back.

"We only use one wizard currency here." Old Tom took out a stick and began to tap a brick on the wall. "Go all the way from here to the end, and you will see a white building. That is the Ancient Spirit. The Pavilion is what you Muggles call a bank. You have to go there first to exchange wizard currency before going shopping."

The brick that Tom knocked shook and began to move. A small hole appeared in the middle. The hole became larger and larger. Soon, a wide archway that was large enough for seven people to pass appeared in front of them, leading to the brick. A winding cobbled street with no end in sight.

Old Tom held a stick in his arms, put the stick out of sight, and said with a smile:

"Enjoy your shopping, wizards."

"Welcome to Diagon Alley."
