Harry Potter's Cousin Dudley at Hogwarts

"First-year freshmen, first-year freshmen come here!"

At this time, Dudley and the others heard Hagrid's loud voice shouting, as for Hagrid's big man, Dudley and the others could easily see his figure, so they squeezed towards Hagrid.

"Harry, are you all right?"

"It's fine, Hagrid." Harry looked at Hagrid.

Hogwarts was a bit cold at night, Dudley wrapped himself in his clothes.

"Okay, first-year freshmen follow me, watch your feet."

Dudley and the others followed Hagrid with a large group of freshmen, down a steep and narrow stone path.

"Dudley, this is really eerie." Harry looked at the darkness on both sides, and those swaying figures should be trees.

On a high hillside on the other side of the lake, there stood a majestic castle with towering spiers. It was a magnificent European-style classical castle. Looking at the castle, Dudley thought that this must be Hogwarts. Those flashing shots in the movie are even more indescribable.

When they saw the castle, everyone started cheering loudly.

"Quiet, quiet, everybody in the boat now, no more than four people in each boat," said Hagrid, pointing to a bunch of small boats moored on the shore.

Dudley immediately pulled Harry into a small boat, followed by Ron. Originally, Hermione was going to follow her into the boat, but Malfoy boarded the boat one step faster.

"Why did you come up here?" Harry was puzzled to see Malfoy sitting next to him.

"Then what about the two of you?"

"Crabbe, Goyle, take the same boat with her." Malfoy pointed to Hermione and Neville who was following Hermione.

"A bunch of stupid men." Hermione glanced at the four people sitting on the boat, and pulled Neville onto another boat.

And Crabbe and Goyle obeyed Malfoy's words and followed Hermione into the boat.

"Are you all on the boat?" Seeing that there were no students on the shore, Hagrid called out for confirmation, and then he boarded a boat by himself, "Attention, the boat is about to set off."

A group of small boats began to sail forward on the black lake.

Everyone didn't speak much, they were all looking around, staring at the huge towering castle, the closer the boat was, the more they could feel its grandeur.

"Heads down, heads down, everybody," Hagrid called as the boat neared the cliff below the castle.

Hearing Hagrid's words, everyone hurriedly lowered their raised heads one by one.

The boat led them down a dark tunnel into the bottom of the castle, and arrived at a pier that looked like a boat.

"Okay, everyone disembark in an orderly manner, don't crowd."

The students started to get off the boat one by one obediently.

"What?" Harry looked at Malfoy who got off the boat first, and held out his hand to himself.

"Harry, hurry up."

Harry, who originally wanted to say no, he could get off the boat by himself, but under the urging of Ron, he had no choice but to hold Malfoy's hand and use his strength to get off the boat.

"Harry, why are you so slow." After Harry got off the boat, Ron quickly climbed off the boat.

As for Dudley, he jumped off the boat after the boat docked, and is now waiting for Harry and the others on the shore.

Soon everyone followed the tunnel and arrived at the gate of the castle, which was a gate made of oak.

"Is it all here?" Hagrid looked and found that no students had come up.So he raised his huge fist and knocked a few times on the upper door of the castle.

After Hagrid finished knocking, the castle gate opened quickly.

I saw a tall black-haired witch in a green robe standing at the gate, apparently waiting for the new students.

"The first-year students are all here, Professor McGonagall." Hagrid said after seeing the witch.

"Thank you, Hagrid. Leave it to me from now on."

"Freshmen follow me." Professor McGonagall walked in front, and the freshmen followed her strangely.

Dudley looked around at the burning torches on the walls and the ceiling so high that he could barely see it, thinking that looking inside the Hogwarts castle, the castle was even bigger.

"Welcome to Hogwarts." Professor McGonagall guided the new students into an empty room.

"The opening banquet is about to begin, but before that, we have another important ceremony, which is to determine which college you will each enter."

"Hogwarts has four colleges, namely: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each college has its own glorious history and has cultivated outstanding wizards."

"In a few minutes, the sorting ceremony will be held in front of all the teachers and students of the school. Now you can tidy up yourselves."

"While waiting, please keep quiet. I will pick you up when it's ready." After speaking, Professor McGonagall left the room.

"Dudley, this professor looks so serious."

"Well, it looks quite serious, but as long as we abide by the discipline, nothing will happen." Dudley saw that Harry was a little nervous, and comforted him.

"I hope so! Dudley, which house do you think we will be assigned to?" Harry could only convince himself in this way.

"I knew I'd be sorted into Slytherin because my whole family went there," Malfoy drawled.
