Harry Potter's Cousin Dudley at Hogwarts
Chapter 11 The Hogwarts Train
A siren sounded, and the students who hadn't got on the bus began to get on the bus one after another.
'woo woo woo woo'
The train started to rumble, first slowly, then faster and faster, and the houses one after another seemed to be going backwards quickly when viewed from the train window.
Dudley and Harry looked out the window. Harry was excited. He had never been on a train in his life.Dudley was a novelty, it was his first time riding such an outdated train, and it was a different experience.
"Hello, is there anyone here?" At this moment, the sliding door of the box was opened, and a red-haired boy came in, pointing to the seat next to Dudley and asked. "Everywhere else is full."
"No one, please sit down." Dudley shook his head.
Dudley recognized the kid as one of the red-haired Weasleys just now.
"Are you a freshman at Hogwarts too?" Dudley asked the boy.
"Yes, are you too? Hello, Ron Weasley, nice to meet you!" Hearing that he was considered a freshman, Ron stretched out his hand happily.
"Dudley Dursley, nice to meet you, Ron." Dudley reached out and shook Ron's hand.
"Harry Potter, nice to meet you too." Harry also reached out and shook Ron.
"Harry Potter?!" Ron blurted out. "Are you really Harry Potter?"
"Ah? If there is no second Harry Potter, then my name is indeed Harry Potter." Harry nodded.
"Then you really - you know..." Ron pointed to Harry's forehead and said, "Is there really that thing?"
Harry pushed aside his bangs covering his forehead with his hands, revealing a lightning-shaped scar.
Ron saw Harry's eyes widen on his forehead.
"If that's what you're talking about." Harry pointed to the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead with his finger.
"Is this what the mysterious man did?"
"I don't know, that's what they all said." Harry shook his head, "But I don't remember."
"You really don't remember at all?" Ron asked curiously.
"Hmm - I just remember a lot of green lights and nothing else." Harry thought for a moment.
"Is that so!" Ron sat there staring at Harry for a long time after he knew Harry was Harry Potter, and seemed to realize that his behavior was a bit abrupt, and quickly apologized to Harry.
"Haha, congratulations Harry, you have gained another fan." Dudley smiled from the side.
"Dudley, don't say that!" Ron blushed when Dudley said that.
"Ron, are your whole family wizards?" Seeing that Ron was embarrassed, Harry quickly changed the subject.
"Yes, my whole family are wizards." Ron nodded.
"Then you must have learned a lot of magic?" Harry was a little curious.
"No, little wizards who didn't go to Hogwarts under the age of 11 generally seldom know magic. My family didn't teach me magic." Ron shook his head.
"What would happen if the little wizard learned magic at home?"
Dudley and Harry looked at each other. After they bought the book, the two of them practiced at home. Although they made a mess at home from time to time, they didn't cause any serious trouble.
"I don't know, generally nothing happens, I just heard that there may be a magic riot."
"Magic riot?" Dudley and the others knew another word.
"Yes, a magic riot may turn the little wizard into a Muggle, or even die, so it's best for the little wizard to learn magic under supervision."
"Oh, so." Dudley glanced at Harry, thinking they were lucky.
"Harry, I heard you ended up living with Muggles?"
"Yes, I live with my aunt, uncle and cousin."
"Are they treating you well?" Ron asked.
"They treated me well, come on, let me introduce you, Dudley, my cousin." Harry pointed to Dudley.
"Huh?" Ron looked at Dudley in surprise.
"Yes, I am Harry's cousin." Dudley smiled and nodded to Ron.
At this time, the door of the box was opened again, and two red heads stuck in.
"Hey, Ron, we found you." It turned out to be the Weasley twins.
"The two of you are Ron's new friends, right?" The twins greeted Dudley and the others, "We are Ron's older brothers, Fred and George Weasley, hello!"
"Hello, Dudley Dursley."
"Hello, Harry Potter."
Dudley and the others greeted the twins.
"Harry? Potter? The legendary Harry Potter?" the twin brothers asked in unison.
"Do you still want to ask this next?" Harry lifted his bangs familiarly, revealing the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.
"It really is Harry Potter! Hello, Harry Potter."
"Okay, okay, Fred, George, we're going to rest." Seeing that the twins still wanted to ask something, Ron got up and pushed them out.
"Oh, well then. Goodbye, Harry, bye, Dudley, and our little brother Ron, see you later," said Fred.
"Yes, goodbye. I heard that Lee Jordan got a big marsupial spider. We have to go and see."
The twin brothers closed the door of the box casually.
"Sorry Harry, George and the others are just curious."
"It's okay, Ron." Harry had gotten used to being surprised when he said his name in the wizarding world.
"Harry, your owl is so handsome." At this moment, Ron saw Dudley's owl in the cage and said enviously.
"My owl is Hathaway, Dudley's is Shulman, and yours, Ron?"
"Me? I didn't." Ron said with some embarrassment.
"Sorry, Ron."
"It's okay, Harry. I'm used to it. If you have five older brothers, you'll never need new things." Ron said indifferently.
"I'm wearing Bill's old robe, Charlie's old wand, and Percy's unwanted mouse." As he spoke, Ron took out a fat gray mouse that was sleeping in his inner jacket pocket.
"It's called Scabbers, it's useless, it sleeps all day, and this year Percy became a prefect, and my dad rewarded him with an owl, and they couldn't afford it—I mean they just took this one." Give me the mouse." Feeling that he had said too much, Ron's ears were red, and he looked at the ground in bewilderment.
Seeing Ron's embarrassment, Dudley said, "Wow, Ron, it's great that you have so many brothers in your family, it must be very lively!"
"That's right, I've always been envious of having many brothers and sisters in my family, Ron, your family is really nice." Harry on the side also said.
"Huh? It's okay! It's usually quite lively." Ron scratched his messy red hair.
Next, Harry and Ron were talking about various things in the wizarding world, and Dudley leaned on the window to watch the scenery outside, and then interrupted their conversation from time to time.
As they talked, the train was still moving fast, and there would be fewer houses and more fields and pastures.
