From Beauxbatons to Hogwarts

Chapter 80 Substitute Teacher

After a week's rest, Harry and Ron finally went back to class.

"Harry, Quirrell is dead, who will take the Defense Against the Dark Arts class?" Ron lay on the table and looked listlessly at the notes Hermione had compiled for them.Although she had only missed a week of classes, in Hermione's eyes it felt like the sky was falling.

"I don't know," Harry flipped through the Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook boredly, "No one is better than Quirrell. It's incredible. Our Defense Against the Dark Arts professor for the past few months turned out to be..."

Ron quickly signaled Harry to stop talking, "Harry, Professor Capet doesn't allow us to tell anything about the mysterious man."

"This also makes me very strange," Harry felt an unknown fire in his heart. "Why doesn't Professor Capet allow us to tell the truth?"

"Harry, the fact that the mysterious man has been lurking in Hogwarts for half a year will cause panic," Hermione closed the book, "and this matter is just our meddling. If we don't find the Philosopher's Stone, Quirrell can't pass Professor Capet's mechanism either."

Harry's face turned red when he heard this. If he hadn't suspected Professor Snape, he wouldn't have given Quirrell an opportunity, and even let Ron be harmed by Voldemort's curse.

"But I always feel that Snape is not a good person," Harry muttered. "He always targets me."

"Maybe there are other reasons." Ron guessed.

Harry wanted to retort a few more words, when a young wizard wearing glasses walked in.

"This man is so strange." This was Harry's first reaction. He felt as if he had seen this person's face before, but he couldn't remember where he had seen it.

"Hello children, I am your substitute teacher for this class, Luigi Bourbon." The young wizard introduced himself.

The students under the podium began to discuss in low voices.

"Hermione, have you heard of this teacher?" Ron asked in a low voice.

"No," Hermione shook her head, "I've never heard of this professor in the castle."

"Okay, my identity is not the point. The point is that your class is about to begin." The "Bourbon" professor's voice made Harry feel his soul trembling, and the commotion in the classroom was quickly suppressed.

Of course, this Luigi Bourbon is Calvin. Although Dumbledore has repeatedly promised that just filling in for one or two classes will not be life-threatening, now Dumbledore's words are questionable to him.

In order to avoid Voldemort's curse, Calvin made adequate preparations - changing his appearance and voice, and attending classes under a pseudonym. If there is a curse, please go find Luigi Bourbon, who has nothing to do with me, Calvin Capet.

"In this lesson we need to learn how to deal with Grindylow correctly." Calvin said expressionlessly. He had no interest in this lesson and just wanted to end it quickly. "Turn the book to page 73."

The little wizards quickly opened the book. Only Harry was still staring at Professor "Bourbon", recalling where he had seen him.

Calvin quickly pointed at Harry's book with his wand and helped him turn to page 73, "Don't be distracted, Mr. Potter. Facing the dark wizard, if you are not careful, your life will be in danger."

"He must be someone at school, he recognizes me," Harry said quickly, in a low voice.

"Harry, even if you are not from the school, I will recognize you, like my sister." Ron didn't understand why Harry was so obsessed with being a substitute teacher.

"Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, please don't whisper to each other in my class," Calvin walked to the table of two people. "If you let me see you again, I will deduct points."

Almost all the Gryffindor and Slytherin wizards turned to look at Harry and Ron. Harry just wanted to hide himself in a book.

Draco was a little disappointed. It seemed that the substitute teacher was very partial to Harry. If Professor Snape was in charge, Gryffindor would be deducted at least ten points.

"First question: What is Grindylow?"

Hermione and Draco raised their hands at the same time, and Calvin chose Draco without hesitation.

"Malfoy, tell me."

Draco stood up and said quickly: "Grindylow is an aquatic dark magic creature that usually lurks in water plants.

They are all green, have green teeth, horns on their heads, and very long fingers, which is one of their weaknesses. "

"Very good, I don't have anything to add. Five points for Slytherin." Calvin motioned for Draco to sit down.

Draco gave Harry a challenging look and pointed at his brain.

Harry was stunned and asked in a low voice: "Hermione, when did Malfoy become so powerful?"

Hermione stared at Calvin and replied in a low voice: "His grades were not bad to begin with. I don't know what happened after the holidays. He spent almost the same amount of time in the library as I did."

Harry and Ron only felt that the whole world had changed after they had been in the school hospital for a week.

"Dealing with Grindylow is easy, don't let them catch it, and use the extraction spell." Calvin felt that he was very irritated. This class should not have come at all, and the students should be allowed to study on their own.

"Let's say this extraction spell without a wand first. Please tell me... the strength is relaxed and the strength is released."

"The strength is relaxed and the strength is exhausted!" the whole class said in unison.

"Okay," Calvin said, "Great, then who wants to be the first to try Grindylow?"

Many young wizards raised their hands and were eager to try, most of them were Gryffindor students.

Calvin picked a little wizard with light brown hair and blue eyes, "You, it's you, what's your name?"

"Professor Bourbon, my name is Seamus, Seamus Finnigan." The little wizard said excitedly.

"Okay, Mr. Finnigan, please come up." Calvin gave up half of the podium, waved his magic wand, and conjured a water tank.

Although Simo raised his hand without hesitation below, when he came up to face the constantly shaking water tank, he still felt a little afraid and swallowed his saliva.

"Don't be afraid, Mr. Finnigan, I'm here." Calvin encouraged the little wizard, "Are you ready?"

Seamus nodded shakily.

"Then, I'm going to open the water tank." Calvin waved his hand, and the stone slab covering the water tank disappeared.

Soon, a sickly green guy slowly emerged from the water. It had a bulbous head and ugly short hands like octopus claws.

It grinned, emitting a rotten smell, and its densely packed green teeth looked like a row of painted steel needles.

Seamus seemed to be frightened and stood motionless.Calvin patted his shoulder with his hand: "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

Hearing the professor's words, Seamus seemed to have plucked up the courage. He raised his wand and shouted at Grindylow: "Relax!"

There was only a roar, the water tank exploded, and a cloud of dust appeared on the podium.
