Chapter 36 Maya

Loya looked over, but there was no one there, only a cage staying there alone.

Inside was a pure black raven. I don't know if it was an illusion, but Loya could actually see a mocking look from its pitch-black face.

"Still watching? Believe it or not, the uncle picked out your eyeballs?" the voice continued.

Is this the raven talking?

Luo Ya was stunned for a while, and glanced at the strong man shopkeeper, but he didn't respond at all, as if he couldn't hear the voice.

Loya squatted down and tentatively asked Raven: "Is it you talking?"

"Can you hear me?" Raven was stunned for a moment, his dark eyes showing ecstasy: "Can you really hear me?"

"Of course, how can you talk? And no one can notice you."

"I don't know either." The raven lowered its head in distress.

"As soon as I woke up, I found that I could talk, but it was useless. No human being could understand me, and neither could my fellow humans. They were all fools, and they only knew how to eat and sleep."

"I'm the only one who can understand you?" Loya looked back at the strong man again to confirm.

"Can I take this raven out to have a look? Without opening the cage." Loya asked the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper hesitated for a moment, but nodded, and personally lifted the birdcage and walked towards the door.

As soon as he mentioned Loya, he realized that the talking raven was not big, maybe a little smaller than its kind, could it be a cub?

"How old is it?" Loya asked.

"A few months, it was there when I took over the store." The owner replied casually.

The shopkeeper put the cage on the ground at the door and motioned for Luo Ya to go over.

"You talk to passers-by." Loya said to Raven.

Raven yelled at the passers-by obediently: "The nephew thief! Look at me! Look straight at me!"

But no one cared, they just thought it was a raven screaming, and hurried past without even looking.

It's really only me who can hear it.

Loya looked at the passers-by coming and going, and nodded thoughtfully.

"How much is it? I bought it."

"120 Galleons," said the owner.

"Don't listen to his nonsense, my purchase price is only 20 Galleons." Raven disrupted the situation.

"20 Galleons, with pet food and this cage." Loya slashed cooperatively.

"Okay." The strong man thought for a while and nodded.

"Why is he so happy?"

When going out, Loya asked Raven in wonder.

"A lot of pets here are left by the previous owner. He only pays the rent of the house, and there is basically no cost for pets."

Luo Ya nodded understandingly. He is not short of this little money now, but he is a little puzzled. Will someone really be willing to sell the shop in Diagon Alley?

In a core business district like Diagon Alley, even if it’s just collecting rent, you can live comfortably. Why sell it?

"I heard that the boss took something, and I suddenly went crazy, crazy every day."

"Looks like some silver coin."

silver?Luo Ya hurriedly took out Qi Luo's silver coin, and there was a strange red light rolling on it: "Is it like this?"

"Yes! That's it! It's just that it doesn't have the strange smell." Raven nodded repeatedly, and looked at Loya in surprise. Its new owner won't be watts all of a sudden.

Luo Ya didn't know what the raven was thinking, just thinking silently.

It seems that the previous shopkeeper's silver coins did not absorb the blood energy of the vampire, but were just the purest carrier. How could such a thing drive people crazy?

However, Roja couldn't judge the harmfulness of pure silver coins. After all, neither of its two owners was a normal person, and it was impossible to judge how silver coins that did not absorb blood energy would react to ordinary people.

Loya went back to the wand shop. He went to his room in the back and opened the cage containing the raven.

Raven stretched his body and came out of the cage: "I can finally come out for a stroll, I'm tired of staying in that cage."

"How old are you?" Loya asked.

"Three months old, already an adult." Raven emphasized: "I can send letters, who do you want to send them to?"

Loya thought for a while, and it seemed that he should write to Harry and the others to contact them. He took out a pen and paper and wrote two letters, one to Hermione and one to Harry and Ron, who were together.

The letter was written quickly, and Luo Ya sealed the envelope and handed it to Raven: "Do you need to see the address?"

"I'll watch on the way." Loya tied two letters to its feet, and it was about to spread its wings and fly out.

"Wait, I haven't named you yet."

"That's right." Raven stopped expectantly, "What do you want to name me?"

"Do you have an idea?" Loya was a little curious if Raven thought of giving himself a name.

"Sister." Raven shook his head again and again.

"Okay." Loya took a few storybooks from the bookshelf, and he planned to find a name from those myths and legends.

"Fujin and Wuni, both are the names of the main god Odin Raven, which one do you think is better?"

Putting down the novel recording Ragnarok, Loya asked Raven.

"Can I be called Maya?" Raven pointed to the novel on the table.

"Are you a girl?"

"What?" Obviously it didn't notice this.

"It's okay, then your name will be Maya." Luo Ya followed suit and patted it: "Go and deliver the letter!"

"Okay!" The raven, no, it was Maya who spread her wings lightly, and flew up into the sky from the window, and disappeared before her eyes with just a few flaps of her wings.

……

Early in the morning, in an independent courtyard in the suburbs of London, a pitch-black raven landed lightly on the balcony on the second floor and knocked on the window with its beak.

"Who is it?" A girl opened the window in a daze, rubbing her fluffy brown hair in doubt.

Maya stretched her foot forward, indicating to accept the letter.

There were two letters on it, and Hermione went to open the one on the left, but was tapped by the raven, telling her to get the other one.

Hermione looked at the cover of the envelope and immediately understood: "Oh, you are Loya's little messenger, what would you like to eat?"

"Can you hear what I said?" Maya sighed, and ate the bird food prepared by the girl, which was unexpectedly good.

After eating the bird food, Maya also accepted Hermione's reply, waved her wings lightly, and flew into the sky again.

Hogwarts Hall.

Just halfway through breakfast, Harry received a letter from Loya.

"Are you Roja's pet?" Harry teased Maya. He thought Roja would buy an owl, but he didn't expect it to be a raven.

"The breed doesn't seem to be the same." After confirming that the letter didn't say anything, Ron looked at Raven Maya.

"The feathers of ordinary ravens have a blue-purple luster, but this one is pure black, and look at its eyes."

Harry looked into Maya's dark eyes, a little puzzled: "What's wrong?"

"It's usually dark brown, but this one is pure black."

"Yes." Harry nodded, "but how do you know so much?"

"Hey, didn't Luo Ya want to buy a pet? I went to see it." Ron scratched his head, feeling a little annoyed. He hadn't started researching it for a long time. If Luo Ya bought it after a long holiday, he would have a chance to give him advice. .

Then will I get a discount if I buy a wand from him?
