Chapter 22 Hogwarts Sleeping Bear Wakes Up

In the prize showroom, Harry and Ron were waiting in full battle. They hid on both sides of the door, staring at the door, ready to knock Malfoy down as soon as he came in.

They also have their own thoughts. Harry is not arrogant enough to think that he can win single-handedly. He was able to defeat Malfoy before with the help of Loya, but this time he didn't, so he still has to use tricks (refer to sneak attack).

Even if you still have to fight an upright duel for a while, you can take the lead in fighting.

The crystal case in the showroom gleamed in the moonlight, reflecting on both of them.

In the darkness, trophies and medals of various shapes silently looked at the two bold Gryffindors.

Time passed by little by little in the silence.

"He's late, maybe he's scared and afraid to come." Ron whispered excitedly. He was a little apprehensive about this matter, and Malfoy's not coming made him breathe a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, a voice appeared next door. In this tense atmosphere, any movement would make the heart beat wildly. The two held their breath and listened quietly.

"Sniff around, my dear, where they might be hiding."

The voice was all too familiar, it was Filch.

The only one patrolling around Hogwarts with Filch in the middle of the night was his cat, Mrs. Norris.

Harry's heart was beating wildly, and he waved his wand silently at Ron, motioning him to go in the direction of another door.

As soon as the two turned the corner, Filch entered the showroom.

Filch did not intend to give up, and was still searching for Harry and the others.

Harry took Ron and ran quickly in the corridor with his waist down, and he was about to run out of this corridor soon. As long as he went out, he could get rid of Filch.

"Bang lang lang—"

The armor placed at the corner suddenly toppled for some reason, and fell heavily in front of them.

The sound of metal colliding resounded throughout the castle, making Harry's scalp tingle. If he was caught again this time, he would not be able to get past the point penalty.

The two of them lost their souls and didn't care about hiding. They straightened up and ran with all their might, passing through corridors one after another, turning corners one after another, and finally stopped at a place they had never been to before.

"It's...so exciting..." Ron stuck out his tired tongue, and sat down on the ground panting.

Harry was also very tired, but he still listened vigilantly to the movement behind him. After a while, Harry sat on the ground tired after hearing nothing.

"Malfoy tipped off to Filch," Harry said firmly.

"I should have thought of it earlier," Ron covered his head in frustration, "that guy is unbelievable!"

"Go back and tell George and Fred they're going to make Malfoy the man of the year."

A voice suddenly rang in their ears, almost scaring their hearts out.

"Loya! Hermione! Why are you here?"

Harry looked at them in surprise.

"I found out about your plan from Hermione, and I just want to go out tonight, so I decided to come over and have a look."

Loya opened his mouth and came, and Hermione rolled his eyes covertly, this guy is too good at deceiving.

Hermione wanted to teach them a lesson, but Loya pulled her clothes. Seeing Loya's gaze, the girl could only sigh and gave up.

"Let's go back."

Ron spoke in a bad mood. He thought that this matter was caused because he agreed to Malfoy's duel, which made him feel a little uncomfortable.

Even though I didn't get caught, running around Hogwarts at midnight wasn't a great experience either.

Ron felt sorry for Harry.

Roya didn't know about Ron's psychological drama. Seeing him in a bad mood, he just thought that he was being tricked, and he was just a little upset.

All he knew was that tonight's show wasn't over yet.

"Kala Kala—" the sound of the door lock turning.

A figure in a fancy dress, tie, and tall hat walked out of the classroom next to him like a ghost.

Unsurprisingly, it was Peeves, who continued his never-ending shenanigans tonight.

It still has glue in its hand, and it looks like he intends to glue all the classroom door locks with glue.

When it saw them, it squealed with joy.

"Haha~ I'm a first-year kid who stays up late at night and walks around like Master Peeves, I can't just sit idly by~"

Peeves said while doing somersaults in the air in a funny way.

"I should tell that guy Filch to discipline you. I'm a good friend of the students."

"Shut up, Peeves, you'll get us fired." Ron was in a bad mood, so his tone was bad.

"Hmm~" Peeves froze for a moment, showing a hesitant expression.

Except for Loya, everyone's expressions relaxed, thinking that Peeves would let them go.

Unexpectedly, Peeves suddenly changed his expression, revealing a mischievous smile.

"Peves doesn't care!"

"Go away!" Peeves got very close, and Ron hit him hard.

This is considered a catastrophe, Peeves can hold grudges very much.

Peeves rose sharply into the air, and burst into an earth-shattering cry:

"Students don't sleep! In the corridor of the Charms class! Come and catch them alive!"

Harry and the others were about to go crazy with fright, they immediately turned around and ran, running wildly.

Peeves' prank was successful, and Hogwarts was woken up for the second time tonight with a piercing laugh.

Hogwarts will definitely doze off tomorrow morning.

They ran all the way to the end of the corridor - the room that Dumbledore had asked them not to go near.

Apparently they didn't realize it now, and Harry subconsciously wanted to push the door, but he didn't.

From far to near, Filch's footsteps are a bit like a horror movie.

"I'm coming!" Ron stood up, took out his wand and pointed it at the door.

"Araho Cave is open!"

The door opened.

"Okay! Ron!" Harry was overjoyed, he didn't expect Ron to learn this trick too.

Ron was proud and thankful that he had been studying this spell silently after Harry used it that day, and it was able to be used twice out of five times. It was only because of his luck that he was able to open the door just now.

Harry and Ron slipped in, followed by Roa and Hermione.

Although Loya knew what was in the corridor behind the door, he didn't panic too much. After all, it was a break-through game set by Dumbledore for Harry, and it wouldn't really hurt their lives. He must have been prepared to let it in.

Harry and Ron put their ears to the door and listened for what was going on behind them.

"Where did they go, Peeves?"

"Say 'please.'"

"Don't mess with me, tell me, where did they go?"

"Master Peeves doesn't know anything unless he says 'please.'"

Harry began to pray in his heart that Filch would die rather than say please.

But obviously, he underestimated Filch's determination to catch them.

"Okay, 'please' tell me where they're going." Filch said the word "please" hard, gnashing his teeth as if trying to chew the word.

"Peeves doesn't know! Hahahahaha didn't I tell you? If you don't say 'please', Peeves doesn't know! Hahahahahaha!"

Peeves told a very tasteless literal joke, left Filch without hesitation, and ran away quickly.

Obviously, expecting Peeves to help Filch is better than expecting Snape's sudden conscience to reconcile with himself.

Harry grumbled silently.

"Let's go, Ron, he thought the door was locked." Harry turned his head and found that Ron froze, as if he had been petrified.

"What's the matter, Ron?" Harry turned around to follow Ron's gaze in wonder, and for a moment, he thought he had fallen into a nightmare.

In the corridor where they were, stood a huge dog, this dog was so big that it reached the ceiling, and its body was so wide that it filled the entire corridor.

It has three heads, three pairs of vicious eyes, three noses the size of fists, and three open mouths that are foul-smelling, and the saliva drips down the corners of the mouths, making a piercing, corrosive sound.

It was facing them, with three pairs of eyes fixed on them, and let out an earth-shattering roar.

"Roar--"

Hogwarts, woke up for the third time.

Didn't sleep well that night.
