Marvel: Ned the Mystic Mage

Chapter 168 Set off again

"I'm not your subordinate, I don't need to promise you anything."

Stark didn't take Nick Fury's advice, and still looked at the slowly rising sun and said without looking back.

"Yeah, I'm just an old man, an old man who cares about you very much."

Nick Fury didn't say anything, he just looked at Stark quietly with his one eye. He believed that Stark would do this.

He wanted to figure out why Stark was so impatient to create Ultron and was not even willing to wait for time to discuss with the team.

"I'm the one who killed the Avengers."

Sure enough, Stark spoke: "I saw it all, the end of the world, ruins."

"Everyone died fighting because I wasn't prepared and didn't try my best."

"Are you also confused by that girl?"

Nick Fury sensed something was wrong and said, "You are the most energetic of all the people who came back."

"I wasn't hypnotized by her, Fury."

Stark said: "That's what I saw with my own eyes. It was all because of me. I opened the door to destruction!"

But it was after Wanda peeked into Stark's inner fear that day. Although Stark didn't notice anything because of Wanda's intentional actions at the time, he just thought he was beaten.

But a few days later, the side effects of the Chaos magic appeared. Stark had the same nightmare every night.

It was an apocalyptic scene, a ruin where everything was destroyed, and the bodies of Captain America, Thor, and all the Avengers, including Ned, were scattered on the ground.

All kinds of weird aliens were flying in the sky, and in the end, only Stark was left kneeling in front of the corpses of all the Avengers, with his armor broken and a lonely look on his face.

This nightmare was the direct reason why Stark made up his mind to create Ultron regardless of the risks.

"You've had many amazing and impressive inventions, Tony."

Nick Fury also acted as a close uncle and comforted him: "But it definitely does not include war."

"Watching your friends die in front of your eyes must be the most painful thing you can think of."

Stark rubbed his palms and said: "But... no, the most painful thing is..."

"The most painful thing is that you are still alive."

Nick Fury interrupted Stark and said.

"Well, because I know that you were more or less mentally or physically injured during this operation, I brought you a new helper on the way here."

Nick Fury said, snapped his fingers and said, "Let's get to know each other."

After Nick Fury finished speaking, a young man wearing a leather jacket and a funny face walked over from a corner behind, humming and twisting his body.

"Quil?"

Ned shouted in surprise.

The helper hired by Nick Fury in front of me is not Star-Lord or someone else?

But Star-Lord has never met Nick Fury since he returned to Earth with Ned. Jarvis directly helped find his family, so how could he get together with Nick Fury?

"Hey, Ned, long time no see. You read it right, it's me, the top fighting force of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star-Lord!"

Star-Lord came over, looked at Stark and said, "This one-eyed nigger said you are in big trouble and asked me to help."

"Of course you can help. I am the sole captain of the Guardians of the Galaxy, whose mission is to maintain peace in the galaxy, but you have to return my weapon to me."

As Star-Lord spoke, his hands moved impatiently, as if he was ready to start a fight at any time.

But in fact, only Ned understood that Star-Lord was not looking forward to fighting, but was clearly excited about regaining the elemental gun.

This is one of the rare valuable things he has.

"...I'll have it delivered to you on Friday."

Stark didn't have much hope for Star-Lord. It would be more like Wonder Woman who almost broke the steel armor with three punches.

But having a battle-hardened helper is better than none.

……

"Any latest news on Ultron?"

Everyone just took a brief rest and then got together again for a combat meeting.

"Yes, all the news I received about him is that he is engaged in research and development."

Nick Fury said: "But no one knew exactly what he was developing."

"The vibranium he took away was enough for him to do a lot of things."

Captain America said solemnly: "The most important thing at the moment is not to let him successfully master nuclear weapons."

"Speaking of this, Ultron has never given up invading nuclear weapons codes, but it has never succeeded."

Nick Fury said: "My friends in Nekus told me that someone has been changing the passwords."

"Naikus?"

Captain America said he didn't understand this new term.

"That's the center of the world network in Oslo, where all the data goes, and it's where the fastest network speeds are."

Dr. Banner explained.

"Who is changing the password?"

asked Stark.

"Unknown department."

Nick Fury said as he took a bite of his sandwich.

Black Widow heard Nick Fury's words and asked, "Do we have allies?"

"Ultron has an enemy, but he may not be our ally. But I will still pay to find out who he is." Nick Fury said as he finished his sandwich.

"I'm going to Oslo to sort things out."

Stark's intuition told him that the key to defeating Ultron lay in this "unknown department", so he stood up and said.

After saying that, he turned around and left, put on his armor, and flew to Oslo.

"Stark is anxious."

Hill said after Stark left.

"Ultron was created by him after all."

Ned said: "He has his own things to do, what about us?"

"The most urgent thing for Ultron must be to have a body of his own,"

Dr. Banner said: "He looked down on the human body, so he went to grab the vibranium, but he would eventually get closer to humans."

"The structure of human beings and the material of vibranium are like evolved human beings."

"It sounds mysterious, but how can we do it?"

Rhodes shook his head and said: "I have never heard of any technology that can do what you said."

"Cradle of Regeneration!"

After being reminded by Rhodes, Helen Zhao, who had been watching as an outsider, suddenly said: "If the vibranium you are talking about is magical enough, maybe the regeneration cradle can be used!"

After hearing Helen Zhao's words, the Avengers present looked at each other.

"Maybe you could try making a phone call."

Hill said to Helen Zhao.

"Dudu..."

"No one picked up."

Helen Zhao held her cell phone and looked worriedly at the fully armed Avengers.

"It seems that Ultron's purpose is the cradle."

Captain America looked around at everyone involved in this operation and said, "Let's go!"
