A little badger from Hogwarts

Chapter 40 The stubborn brothers

As soon as the game ended, Hart was ready to go back to the castle. Although he had saved someone on the field and made a big splash, he was not ready to accept the cheers of the crowd.

If Hermione wasn't too close to avoid him, Hart wouldn't even want to see the little girl.

"Hey, where are you going?" Hermione couldn't understand watching Hart hiding from everyone.

"It was clear that you took the initiative to save people just now, why are you hiding from everyone now?"

"It's one thing to save people, it's another thing to end everyone's cheers." Hart didn't want to explain that he was doing this to increase Harry's favorability. After all, if he wanted to attack Quirrell, he would inevitably have to come into contact with Harry.

"Come on, let's go to Hagrid's hut. It's a clean place and no little wizard will come to the door." Hart saw that Hermione wouldn't leave, so he simply took her with him.

The Quidditch pitch was not far from the hunting ground and the Forbidden Forest. Hart and Hermione arrived at Hagrid's hut within a few steps.

"Wang Wang!"

As soon as he knocked on the thick wooden door, the sound of a big dog barking came from behind the door.

As soon as he opened the door, Yaya rushed forward in excitement. Hart caught the big dog, but pushed it away to lick his tongue and big head.

"Okay, what we said in the past, don't lick me!"

Hart patted Yaya's big head and comforted the big dog whose personality and appearance were extremely inconsistent.

"Are you familiar with the gamekeeper?" Hermione was a little moved when she looked at the docile Fang, but she still liked cats more. After thinking about it for a long time, she still didn't get close to Fang.

"Oh, among professors, Hagrid and I have the best time."

Hart said with a smile, "In the past two years, I have often taken care of magical animals with Hagrid. This year I have been a bit busy, so I haven't been here much!"

"Ya Ya, do you miss me?" Hart lowered his head and reached out to touch the big dog's head.

Yaya barked twice, and even if you couldn't understand the dog's speech, you could tell that it was very excited.

"Hart, is that you? Come in quickly!"

Hagrid poked his head out of the room and suddenly became nervous when he saw Hermione, a stranger: "Um, who is this girl?"

"Hermione Granger, Hufflepuff's first year, is my friend!"

Hermione was unhappy with Hart's introduction: "Am I just your friend?"

"What else?" Hart spread his hands and said matter-of-factly: "We have only known each other for a few months, and we don't know each other well. It's really a bit reluctant to use friends to describe our relationship!"

Hermione wanted to refute, but after thinking about it, she felt that he was right. They had only met a few times and not chatted much.

Thinking of this, Hermione, who was originally in high spirits, suddenly became emoticon.

Hart didn't understand the girl's thoughts at all, and didn't even notice that Hermione had become depressed. It wasn't until he followed Hagrid into the room that he discovered that the little girl was still standing outside the door.

"Hermione, what are you doing standing still? Come in quickly!"

Hart yelled, then noticed that Hermione was not in a good mood, but he didn't know what to say, so he kept silent.

Entering the room, he found that Harry and Ron were already sitting in the room.

"Hey, what are you two doing here instead of joining everyone's celebration?" Hart looked at Harry, who was a little depressed, and Ron, who was overly excited, and asked directly.

Before they could speak, Hagrid spoke first: "These two children didn't know what they were thinking. They came over to me and told me that it was Professor Snape who caused the broom to lose control today! Isn't this a joke? Snape is A professor at school, how could he do such a thing.”

Hart didn't bother to tell Hagrid about his stubbornness, since he wouldn't listen anyway.

Before Hart could think of what to say, Hermione frowned and said, "You two should not talk about the school professors and accuse them casually like this!"

"Who are you? Why are you accusing us in such a tone?" Ron didn't have a good impression of Hermione, so he naturally spoke in a rude manner.

How could Hermione endure her temper? She was about to refute him immediately, but Hart interrupted her and asked in advance:

"You two said that Snape did what happened today. Do you have any evidence?"

"Of course!" Ron straightened up and explained to everyone, "I saw it through Hagrid's telescope. He was chanting a spell on Harry's broomstick, muttering to himself, and keeping his eyes fixed on Hagrid. A sharp broom."

"Nonsense," said Hagrid, who had no idea what was happening around him in the stands. "Why would Snape do such a thing?"

Hermione frowned, remembering that Hart seemed to be paying attention to the professors as well.

"Hart, did you notice something?"

"Ahem!" Hart coughed twice and said, "Now it's Harry and the others who want to tell me what to do."

Harry and Ron diverted their attention easily. Especially Harry, who decided to tell the truth and reveal some big news.

"I discovered something about him," he told the group. "One night after Halloween, he was trying to get past the big three-headed dog. It bit him. We think he was trying to steal something the big dog was guarding."

Hagrid put down the teapot heavily.

"How do you know the three-headed Lu Wei?" he asked.

"Lu Wei with three heads?"

"Yeah - it's mine - bought it from a Greek guy I met in the pub last year - I lent it to Dumbledore to keep -"

"What?" Harry asked eagerly.

"Okay, don't ask anymore," Hagrid said rudely, "That's Secret No. 1, do you understand?"

Hart was desperate for Hagrid's big mouth. He really couldn't expect this big man to keep any complicated secrets in the future.

"But Snape wanted to steal it." Harry and Ron were sure of this truth.

"Nonsense," Hagrid said again, "Snape is a teacher at Hogwarts, he would never do anything like that."

"Then why did he want to kill Harry?" Ron asked loudly.

What had happened this afternoon had deepened his prejudice against Snape, even though he was mostly right.

"I tell you, you are wrong!" Hagrid said irritably. "I don't know why Harry's broomstick behaved like that, but Snape would never want to kill a student! Now, you three Listen to me - you are meddling in things that have nothing to do with you. This is dangerous. Forget about the big dog and what it is guarding, this is between Professor Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel - "

"Aha!" said Harry, "So there's a man named Nico Flamel involved, right?"

Hagrid was furious, he was angry with himself.

Seeing that the situation was almost over, Hart interjected: "This afternoon, I did see Snape reciting a spell, and his target was indeed Harry."

"What?" Hagrid didn't know what to say. Hart was different from others.

"How is this possible? Snape is a professor at Hogwarts."

"But he is not the only one who casts the spell, there is also Quirrell." Hart originally wanted to free poor Hagrid from his entanglement, but it failed!
