Librarian at Hogwarts

Chapter 74 Malfoy Manor

On the windows, thick fog condensed.

The temperature dropped suddenly.

No matter how reluctant everyone is to accept this fact, changes in the weather are like a girlfriend you can't coax no matter how hard you try, you won't look back.

The Bowtruckle stood on the windowsill, stretching hard as if trying to catch the last bit of sunlight.

"Be careful not to fall, little one."

Ignat stretched out a hand and lightly nodded Bowtruckle's head.

He got up very early to clean up. Today was the Therapist Alliance meeting and he couldn't be late.

"It's really bizarre to say it's a party but have people arrive at noon."

While Igno was washing himself, he spoke to Neil who was lying on the bed doing nothing.

"Parties usually have two meanings. One is a banquet that lasts until the evening, and the other is a party that arrives late."

Neil leaned against the wall and said seriously.

"Obviously, the party you are going to attend is the first one."

"Thank you for your answer, Mr. Neil."

Igno glared at Neil angrily.

Neil smiled proudly, then turned his head and looked out the window.

"Today was originally a good day."

"Slytherin and Gryffindor are playing Quidditch!"

"It's all this damn weather!"

Neil sighed and continued to lie on the warm bed.

"Why do Slytherin and Gryffindor always play games, but then the other two houses don't?"

Igno discovered this problem keenly.

Neil was stunned and spread his hands, obviously finding it difficult to answer this mysterious question.

"However, this is not the reason for you to come to my house and lie down early in the morning..."

As he spoke, Igno shook Xiu Xiu from his sleep.

"But you came just in time. Today it's your turn and Xiu Xiu's turn to guard the library for me for the day."

With that said, Ignat threw Xiu Xiu into Neil's arms with a worried look on his face.

"What a domineering 'slave' master."

Neil muttered something softly, and then under Ignat's fierce gaze, he quickly hugged Sniff and started to giggle.

Igno stood in front of the mirror and buttoned the last button of the 'Fire Dragon' suit.

The waist of the 'Fire Dragon' suit automatically tightened, perfectly showing off Igno's good figure.

"Remember to socialize with more celebrities!"

Neil did not forget to give warm instructions before Igno went out.

"I know, I handed them your business card."

Igno waved his hand without looking back.

"What a good brother!"

Neil held Xiu Xiu and stood at the door, stroking Xiu Xiu's head with one hand.

......

Malfoy Manor is not hard to find.

It is located in Wiltshire - in the countryside about thirty miles from the city centre.

Ignat easily found the Malfoy Manor based on the address on the invitation letter.

When he arrived, he was startled by the battle in front of him.

In front of the gate, two rows of house elves lined up to greet him with bows.

Bright flowers are planted along the fence in front of the manor.

The long stone road was cleaned until it was bright and translucent.

Every piece of glass in the manor is incredibly transparent.

"Very 'Malfoy'-ish."

Ignat whispered in his heart, and then a house elf walked up respectfully.

"Dear wizard, can I show you your invitation?"

Igno took a look at the house elf. It was wearing a brand new dress, and the fabric of the dress didn't seem to be of inferior quality.

It can be seen that in Malfoy Manor, even the house elves are treated very well materially.

"of course can."

Ignat handed the invitation to the house elf.

"Mr. Ignat, oh. Dear Mr. Ignat, please go inside."

The house elf glanced at the invitation, then immediately handed it back to Ignat and led the way.

Ignat, led by the house elf, entered the house in a short while.

The moment he opened the door, Igno saw Abraxas greeting the guests at the door.

Abraxas' golden hair was neatly combed and he was wearing a black robe, which made him look very energetic.

"joyous..."

Abraxas's smile obviously ended abruptly the moment he saw Igno.

"Is it you?!" He said suspiciously in a contemptuous tone.

He seemed to be wondering what method Ignat had used to deceive the house elf outside the door.

"Of course it is me."

Igno shook the invitation and looked at Abraxas proudly.

On such an important occasion, it is certainly impossible for Abraxas to lose important etiquette.

He reluctantly welcomed Ignat into the house, but he did not say a word to Ignatius.

Obviously, it can be seen from his expression that he still holds a grudge after Igno taught him a lesson last time.

Ignat entered the house.

The room is very elegantly decorated.

The crystal ceiling floats on the roof, and the shallow lights sway like water waves.

Marble with black background and white veins covers the entire room, and on the ground, a soft gray and white long blanket stretches from the doorway to the opposite side.

At the banquet, there were already twenty or thirty wizards present.

"Dear Mr. Wizard, if you are thirsty, there is drinking water on the table."

Another house elf appeared in front of Igno. It seemed that it was responsible for the reception in the house.

"Ok."

Ignat walked to the dining table, picked up a few random things and placed them on his plate.

Obviously, this was Igno's first time attending the banquet. He was obviously at a loss and could only wait and see what happened.

"Young man, it's really rare to see him."

A gray-haired old wizard came over.

He didn't wear any decorations, just a simple black dress and a pointed hat.

"Hello, I'm Igno. Igno Peverell."

Igno greeted the old wizard friendly.

"Oooh, I forgot to introduce myself first. I'm Mungo Bonham. That's what happens when people get older, and they forget their manners first."

Bonham said brokenly.

Mungo Bonham... Ignat recited this name silently in his mind.

He always felt that he had seen it somewhere or heard about it.

And when he thought of the peculiar statue at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Maladies, he suddenly realized that the man in front of him was Mungo Bonham, the founder of St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Maladies!

"What an honor! Mr. Bonham, I didn't expect to see you here!"

Ignat said excitedly.

Sure enough, this banquet was indeed extraordinary.

Even heavyweight wizards like Mungo Bonham came to the scene.

And what is the purpose of the Therapist Alliance banquet?
