It's something that is beyond our control.

Things that cannot be changed with these hands

There are as many as mountains

I heard from Gai that Kakashi fainted during the mission. While I was surprised, I also set off to visit the hospital.

2

"Kakashi, I'm in." I knocked on the door politely and walked in directly.

Kakashi was sitting on the hospital bed. He opened his eyes wide and looked at me in panic. He was holding a book in his hand that he had no time to hide.

I glanced at the cover: "On How to Die"

Me: oxygen

"Hasumi-san, why are you here?" Kakashi asked in surprise. As he spoke, he hid the book in his hand as if nothing had happened.

I took a deep breath, what happened to you father and son? Both of them want to die, right?

I walked forward quickly and pulled off the sheets.

"Ugh!" Kakashi exclaimed cutely.

I looked at him condescendingly and said, "Kakashi, that's not something children should watch."

Kakashi held the book tightly, almost tearing the pages with force, his eyebrows were lowered, with indescribable despair: "I know, Hasumi-san has always wanted me to live."

I replied: "Yes."

He stopped talking.

I didn't wait for his response for a long time. After hesitating for a moment, I asked him: "So why do you want to die? Kakashi?"

"Who did you say those words to me for?" Kakashi suddenly raised his eyes and asked coldly.

"Is it because of father?" Kakashi's expression turned cold, and his voice seemed to be covered with ice.

I looked at him and asked silently: Why did you ask me that? You knew that from the beginning, didn't you? I take good care of you because of your father's legacy.

I couldn't understand it, so I said frankly: "Because Kakashi is my adopted son."

I touched his head and tried to ruffle his straw-shaped hair.

Kakashi trembled slightly and turned his head to avoid my touch, his expression looked a little painful.

I said softly, "Kakashi, you have always been my treasure."

I leaned against the wall outside the ward and listened to the conversation between master and apprentice without stopping or showing any expression.

Minato opened the door and looked at me with his blue eyes, "Hasumi-senpai."

I raised my hand and said hello: "Yo! Yondaime!"

"Well, senior, just call me Minato." Minato said with a smile, "I have always respected senior."

I tilted my head: "Okay, Minato."

"Senior didn't stop me about Kakashi's matter." Minato sighed, "I thought senior would think this was too dangerous."

I chuckled, "I'm not a chicken mother."

"Although I don't understand why you think that Anbu, which is full of murder, danger and darkness, can help him get out of his psychological shadow, but although you are a natural idiot, you are also a teacher who truly loves Kakashi."

"I believe in your love for him."

I said seriously.

A drop of cold sweat ran down the back of Minato's head, "Senior said the ANBU were so scary."

I hummed softly: "Anbu are originally ninjas among ninjas, the darkness of Konoha."

"But the darkness of the three generations was carried by the 'roots', so you will feel that Anbu is not so dark."

"But you are different. You are a man who is willing to bear everything for Konoha." I looked into his eyes, as if I wanted to see through his heart.

Minato said resolutely: "Yes, so I hope Kakashi can become my right-hand man."

"But senior is right. Kakashi is my only remaining disciple. I hope he can get out of the darkness in his heart."

I lowered my eyes and said softly: "Both Sakumo and Kakashi want to die."

It was a silent statement of how much of a failure I was.

"I hope you make it Minato."

I blinked, sincerely.

"It's up to you, Kakashi."

Being autistic, I walked to the forest outside the village.

My mood improved slightly when I saw some lotus tips emerging from the lush forest.

This is a lotus pond.

It was specially developed and transplanted by me.

A branch of lotus stands gracefully in the pond, with its jade-white petals fully unfolded, revealing golden stamens and tender yellow lotus pods. The breeze blows, the lotus pond ripples, and the green leaves of the white lotus sway, but my heart can't help but calm down.

I took off my scarf, kicked off my clogs, and was about to walk into the lotus pond when suddenly a wooden walkway appeared under my feet.

I let out a light sigh and lowered my head to look at the corridor that spread from not far away and penetrated the lotus pond, "Mudun?"

I looked around, and out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of a figure in the tree shrinking nervously and hiding himself behind the canopy.

‘Don’t you plan to come out? ’ A thought crossed my mind, but I didn’t mind it very much.

I stepped onto the walkway, shuttled among the lotus flowers, and finally found a shady spot where the lotus crown blocked the direct sunlight, and lay down happily.

The breeze brought the light fragrance of lotus flowers, mixed with a hint of wood.

I closed my eyes.

Like he's about to fall asleep.

After a while, I felt a hand reaching towards me.

I grabbed his wrist and suddenly opened my eyes, with a smile on my face: "What bad thing do you want to do, little guy?"
