The spring sunshine poured down, and golden light covered the Room of Requirement.

Ace was sitting on the sofa by the floor-to-ceiling window, with parchment spread all over the sofa. She was flipping through and recording recent news, while Snape was standing behind the console facing the window, preparing potions.

She became more and more relaxed in front of Snape, with a few cute toes exposed under her wide skirt, her hair rolled up casually, and a few strands of hair scattered around her ears.

"Severus, you..."

After flipping through several pages of paper with handwriting that was obviously different from his own, Ace looked up at Snape as he looked at the neat handwriting.

"Ok?"

"What is this?" Ace asked, raising the parchment in his hand.

Snape just glanced at it, then lowered his head to do his own thing, "What you need."

"You know, that's not what I meant -" Ace put on his shoes, moved to face Snape, and slapped the parchment on the table, "Severus, you can't do such a dangerous thing for me."

"This is obviously more useful and easier to come by than the information you got, isn't it?" Snape stopped adding ingredients, raised his head, and looked directly at Ace with his dark eyes.

"Can--"

"Or are you planning to join the Death Eaters to find out information? Otherwise, apart from that trivial matter, what else can you find out?"

"Just pray that your harsh words can catch up with Lily!" Ace slapped his hand on the table, his cheeks red with anger, "Anyway, you are not allowed to help me inquire about these things in the future - I shouldn't take you with me. Come here! You know everything I do!"

"I..." Snape looked at Ace who slammed the door and left. He didn't quite understand why she was angry, and he didn't understand how Ace could see that he wanted to pursue Lily.

Looking at a pot of discarded potions, Snape sighed and rubbed his forehead, because Ace didn't know how many pots of potions he had boiled down.

Leaning against the wall - the door had turned into a wall, Ace hammered back in frustration.

Ace was angry at Snape for taking matters into his own hands, and she didn't want anyone other than herself to be involved in this matter. But she couldn't refute Snape's words. She couldn't get accurate information unless she joined the Death Eaters.

And Snape is the one Lucius is trying to win over. Even though he has not made it clear that he will join the Death Eaters, everyone thinks that he will definitely join the Death Eaters after graduation.

Even Lucius thought so, so it didn't hurt to reveal some central information to Snape, which could be regarded as some investment in future outstanding subordinates.

Ace leaned against the wall and sighed helplessly. It was she who made Snape join in this matter.

Remus came out of the lounge, turned a corner and saw Ace leaning against the wall.

"What's wrong? Is there anything unhappy?"

Seeing Ace shuffling his shoes and leaning on the opposite side of the tapestry where the troll was beating Barnabas silly with his eyebrows downcast, Remus walked over, showed a gentle smile, and asked softly.

"Oh, Remus, it's nothing." Ace replied in a pleasant tone as he bent down to hide his frustration, lifted the heels of his shoes with his index finger and put them on.

There was a hint of bitterness in the smile on Remus's lips, but it quickly disappeared, "Then, let's take a walk around?"

Ace was not in the mood to read a book or sort out information. Thinking that her things were all in the Room of Requirement, she decided to go for a walk. She didn't want to see Snape now.

As he walked down from the eighth floor, his leather shoes tapped the stone floor. This was Ace's little habit when he was in a bad mood.

"The weather is really nice today." When they walked to the covered bridge, many students were leaning on the railings and looking into the distance. Remus turned around and said to Ace with a smile.

Ace nodded in response and stretched out a hand outside the shadow, exposing it to the sunlight. The purple veins on his wrist were clearly exposed in the sunlight.

"It's very nice, the smell of sunshine."

Taking a step forward, Ace faced the sun and felt the warmth.

"This is not good for the eyes. I can't let such a pair of beautiful eyes lose their luster."

Seeing that Ace's gray-green eyes were like amber under the sunlight, Remus was stunned for a moment and stretched out his hand to block the light from her eyes.

Ace stepped back into the shadows and smiled, "There must be many Gryffindor girls who like you, Remus, you are too gentlemanly to be a Gryffindor."

Remus shrugged and pointed to the scar on his face, "That's not necessarily true. It's quite scary, isn't it?"

"This is also a sign of your bravery, isn't it? No one can escape from a werewolf." Ace returned a disapproving look and looked firmly at the three claw marks on Remus' face.

Remus laughed, his chest shaking slightly, "You are really...Ace, you are indeed the most popular student."

"I don't think so, everyone is just friendly."

The two were walking and talking, and the feeling of their feet stepping on the grass made Ace temporarily forget the previous unpleasantness.

"That's just your one-sided opinion. Even Death Eaters can talk to you, Ace."

Mentioning this, Ace raised his eyebrows but did not answer.

"...I always feel that you are doing dangerous things, Ace..." Remus hesitated and said this sentence slowly.

Ace smiled and replied firmly without any hesitation on his face, "Of course not, Remus, I was just chatting with them."

"I hope you really haven't."

"Of course not!" Looking at Asta and Sirius sitting not far away, leaning against each other, Ace looked expectantly, with longing in his eyes, "It would be great if everyone could stay like this."

"Will do."

Upon hearing Remus' words, Ace lowered his head to hide his bitter smile.

Seeing a small blue flower on the tip of his toe, Remus knelt down to pick it up and handed it to Ace, "I think it suits you very well."

Ace took it and put it on his ear, "Thank you. Seriously, no girls in Gryffindor are pursuing you, Remus?"

It's a pity that you are not there. Remus smiled and did not answer.

Snape stood in front of the window and held up the binoculars, watching Ace take the flower and put it to his ear, pressing his lips tightly.

He just came to the window to rest and accidentally saw Ace and Remus walking together downstairs. He watched the two people gradually walking away before taking out the binoculars to take a look.

With a cold snort, Snape put down the telescope and returned to the table to continue brewing the potion.

It's just that I either got the wrong ingredients or the heating time was too long or too short. I didn't get anything done overnight. I simply threw the stirring rod into the crucible and ignored it.

Snape picked up the cup and filled a large glass of water, then put the cup down heavily, cleared the table and left the place.

When they returned to the dormitory, Snape's disgusting expression made Avery and Mulciber consciously lower their voices. The two people communicated with their eyes, wondering who had offended this freak and made him so angry.

Mulciber saw Snape's glance and quickly tilted his head to pretend he was looking for something.Avery turned around and let out a disdainful snort before lying back on his bed.

Snape sat on the edge of the bed, always feeling that the flower next to Ace's ear was particularly annoying.

Snape took out the black and yellow scarf from the cabinet and put it on his face before falling asleep.
