The Lonely Dragon of Hogwarts

Chapter 14 Escape from birth?

The homeless people opened their mouths with dull expressions.

The same person who was so surprised that her mouth opened wide was Michelle. She didn't remember that she had made any poison.

Michelle subconsciously wanted to defend, but the moment her eyes came into contact with John, she quickly closed her mouth.

John nodded with satisfaction.

What he gave the homeless people to drink was just ordinary expired milk mixed with water. At most, it could only give these homeless people diarrhea, but it could not kill anyone.

But that's not a big deal either.

Anyway, with Michelle, a real witch, these tramps couldn't believe it.

"Actually, you don't have to worry too much. I have a sufficient amount of antidote here, but I really don't want to see anyone leave the team tonight." John coughed twice and raised his voice. "So, get up and continue. Hurry! Whoever disobeys me will die!"

After saying that, John strode towards the exit.

Although the homeless people were extremely reluctant, under the threat of death, they all got up and followed John.

The horror of the witches' poison was clearly described in many of the stories they had read.

This is something they don't want to face anyway.

After walking out of the small building, a large flat corn field was revealed in front of everyone.

Although it is not yet mature, due to the hard work of the homeless people, it has already reached a height of more than one meter, which is barely enough to cover the figures of the homeless people.

This is why John chose this route.

Other routes may be closer, but they are basically all flat land without shelter, and there is no insurance from this cornfield.

A gust of evening wind blew by, and the corn stalks in the darkness were billowing like ocean waves, making strange rustling sounds.

The homeless people stopped moving forward, and some were afraid to get in.

But under John's compulsion, everyone finally bent down and entered the cornfield, and walked directly through the small half of St. Brelade along the field ridge to the back door.

It was still standing there, with the door open and covered with rust, as if it had been abandoned and had not been used for a long time.

John was relieved to see this.

To be honest, he was too pressed for time and had not been able to come here at night to investigate the situation.

Therefore, he was not sure whether the back door would close automatically at night.

But fortunately, God did not intend to play such a bad joke on John.

Michelle on the side also looked very excited.

Except for the two of them, the other homeless people present looked confused.

Just like John before, they couldn't see the back door at all, and would even subconsciously ignore the existence of that door.

So they were all confused as to what John was doing in bringing them here after all the effort in the middle of the night.

John had no intention of explaining to them.

Like he had told Michelle before, these people didn't have to know anything.

"You, it's you, come here!"

After taking a breath, John said to a homeless man.

The homeless man was still a little confused. He pointed at himself and after confirming, he reluctantly came to John's side.

John pulled him into position, then put a kick on his lower back and kicked him out of the door.

The other homeless people were immediately shocked.

From their perspective, the homeless man just hit the wall directly and then disappeared!

What kind of magic is this!

Could it be that John brought them here just to execute them one by one with magic?

For a moment, the homeless people panicked again.

But John didn't give them the chance to riot like they had just done on the stairs.

He and Michelle used their hands and feet together to drive all the remaining homeless people out of the house with beatings and kicks.

Then, John also took Michelle through the back door.

What lay before him was a winding path.

Looking further along this road, you can see a town bathed in lights.

Although the distance was a bit far away, upon closer inspection, John actually saw the townspeople partying all night long!

He looked at the town obsessively, and did not attack the homeless people again, but said calmly:

"Stop the ink stains. If you don't want to die, come with me quickly. Don't make a sound. Don't forget the poison you just drank."

After that, without even looking at the homeless people, he took Michelle's hand and started running wildly.

And behind them, the homeless people were all very excited - they finally got what they wanted and successfully escaped from St. Brelade!

They lost their previous resistance to John's order and began to jump up and down and follow John.

The cool night breeze blew against his face, and John felt so happy in his heart!

He was imprisoned in St. Brelade for half a year, and was threatened by mysterious visitors and priests all day long!

And now, he is finally free!

John couldn't help but look up at the night sky.

Maybe it's the emotion.

He only felt that the crescent moon hanging high in the night sky was like the smile of heaven.

The stars dotted around were also twinkling, looking very festive.

John couldn't help but said loudly:

"Look! Michelle, even the stars are congratulating us!"

"Yeah! We succeeded!"

Michelle nodded vigorously, with a bright smile on her face.

Under the dim moonlight, John felt that Michelle was even more beautiful than the Milky Way in the sky!

But at this moment, an indescribable strange feeling suddenly arose in John's heart.

It felt like someone had hit him hard on the head.

He stopped and the smile on his face disappeared instantly.

"Well--"

Michelle almost fell down due to the sudden braking, scratched her head and said:

"John, what's wrong with you?"

"Don't you think it's too quiet around here?"

Hearing this, Michelle was stunned for a moment, and then her face turned ugly.

It's almost summer now.

There should be some sounds like the chirping of insects in the wilderness at night.

However, they had not heard any sound since they crossed the back door.

Everything around him seemed dead.

"Crack..."

A dense cracking sound sounded, and Michelle was horrified to find that dense cracks appeared in the space around her.

These cracks quickly spread to the entire world, and then exploded suddenly!

"boom--"

John and Michelle felt like the world was spinning for a while. When they got down to earth again, the familiar cornfield appeared in front of them again.

"Are we...returning to St. Brelade?"

Michelle said in disbelief.

No one answered Michelle's question.

Because the moment she finished speaking, a large group of red hats emerged from the cornfield.

"Bam—"

The sound of a blunt hammer sounded.

A homeless man who was closer to the cornfield fell to the ground.
