Mysterious Walker at Hogwarts

Chapter 74 Prophecy of the Obscurial One

Since he had just received a warning from the Ministry of Magic, Dean did not take out his wand - at least pretending to abide by the Reasonable Restraint of Minor Wizards Act.

Dean judged that this must be the person who was going to be sent by the Ministry of Magic mentioned in the letter, and it was unlikely to harm a family of Muggles and an underage wizard.

Apparently Dean overestimated the professional ethics of some people in the Ministry of Magic.

When Dean rushed into the yard, he saw a strong-looking wizard with stiff gray hair kept very short and an unsmiling wizard holding a wand with a serious expression on guard.

When Dean appeared in the yard, the wizard's wand was immediately pointed at him: "Dean Thomas?"

Dean nodded subconsciously. He didn't understand why the wizard opposite looked like he was facing an enemy - he was just an underage wizard, how could he threaten an adult wizard?

(Of course, this assumes that under normal circumstances, Dean obviously forgot that he cannot use common sense to guess.)

"Hand over your wand!" the wizard shouted sternly, as if he was facing a heinous dark wizard.

Dean's brows furrowed deeply. There was no doubt that the wizard's rudeness had alarmed his family. Several bedroom lights that had been turned off were turned on one after another.

"Who are you? Why did you break into my house?" Dean asked dissatisfied.

"I am the Auror of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic of Great Britain - Drex. I have been ordered to bring the illegal wizard Dean Thomas back to the Ministry of Magic."

"Mr. Delis, are you making a fuss out of a molehill? As you can see, I'm just a first-year student at Hogwarts." Dean said helplessly.

Delis repeated nervously: "Hand over your wand, now!"

Dean shrugged and slowly took out the blackthorn wand.

Delis immediately screamed: "Put the wand on the ground, then step back. Stop when I say stop!"

After Dean put the wand on the ground obediently, he backed away and said dissatisfied: "Mr. Delis, you scared my family. They are all Muggles. I don't think you know how to break the law, right?"

Delis slowly approached Dean's wand on the ground and said, "They are just a bunch of ignorant Muggles. A forgetting spell can solve all problems."

"What did you say?" Dean was a little angry. He didn't expect Delis to have such an attitude towards Muggles.

At this time, there was a commotion behind Dean. Mr. Thomas and Daniel appeared at the door holding two golf clubs. Behind them, Mrs. Thomas protected Fianna and Knightley behind her.

"What do you want to do? Are you going to attack an Auror?" Delis yelled like crazy - he was frightened back before he could get Dean's wand.

"I should be the one asking you what you want to do!" Mr. Thomas blocked Dean behind and asked seriously, "This is my home! I will never allow you to hurt my family."

Dean felt warm in his heart. Even though Delis was not a wizard and was much stronger physically than the skinny Mr. Thomas, his stepfather still stood up without hesitation.

At this moment, the feeling of "prophetic vision" reappeared, and Dean saw a picture that he could not believe: a black and incorporeal black mist emerged from Knightley's body with a look of pain on her face, and she was crazy. Wreaking havoc on everything around him.

That's... Obscurus?

Dean's pupils shrank. If the prophetic vision was correct, Knightley would actually be an Obscurus.

How can this be?Even if Knightley has wizarding talent, at most she will be a Muggle-born witch like Hermione. How could she be an Obscurial?

Who does the parasitic Obscurus on Knightley come from?

Before Dean could clear his mind, he was horrified to find Delis raising his wand at Mr. Thomas.

Dean understands that as long as Mr. Thomas is harmed in any way, the Obscurus in Knightley's body will most likely explode due to her violent changes in mood, and Thomas's whole family will be doomed by then.

Dean is not arrogant enough to think that his current strength can control or even defeat Obscurus.

Delis must be stopped immediately!

It was too late for Dean to pick up his blackthorn wand - subconsciously, Dean was still used to using the method he was most familiar with to deal with his opponents.

Delis felt his eyes blurred when Dean, who was behind the thin man just now, magically appeared in front of him.

Dean grabbed Delis' right hand with lightning speed, preventing him from waving the wand, and then hit Delis's chin with a precise uppercut.

Under the incredulous gazes of his family, Delis' huge body was lifted from the ground by Dean's punch, and then crashed to the ground like a pushed earth wall.

The moment Delis was hit by Dean, there was only one thing in his mind: "Is this guy sure he is a wizard? Why not use a wand?"

Delis lost his consciousness before he could figure it out.

The Thomas family was stunned, wondering how Dean was able to knock down a huge man who was extremely disproportionate to his size in less than a second.

"Oh my god! Dean, how did you do that?" It wasn't until Delis fell to the ground that Mr. Thomas swung the golf club belatedly.

After Dean picked up the wand that Delis dropped on the ground - at this moment, Dean felt that he had the potential to become a wand collector, this was already the fourth wand that worked for him - and turned to face the house. People smiled and said, "I told you a long time ago that I wasn't exercising blindly!"

"But... this is too exaggerated." Mr. Thomas looked at Dean, who was not as tall as him, and then at the unconscious Delis, feeling like he was dreaming again.

But Daniel couldn't care so much. He rushed up and hugged Dean's neck, shouting excitedly: "Brother, that punch just now was great! You must teach me this move!"

"Okay." Dean responded casually and came to the pale-faced Knightley - the little girl was obviously frightened.

"Knightley, are you okay?" Dean asked softly, rubbing Knightley's golden hair affectionately.

Knightley suddenly began to sob: "Brother, is that man a robber? Why did he break into our house?"

Dean smiled awkwardly: "Maybe, but it's over now, I will deal with him right away!"

"Leave it to the police?" Knightley asked coyly.

Dean's expression froze. The Muggle police might not be able to deal with this matter, but he still forced a smile and said, "Of course."

Thankfully, there was nothing unusual about Knightley, and Dean seriously doubted whether the prophetic vision he just saw was real.

If that prediction doesn't come true, Dean will be in a bit of trouble this time - he actually attacked an Auror!

Now the Ministry of Magic seems to have more reason to interrogate him!
