A Pirate's Counting Life

Chapter 46 O'Hara 2

"Are the things in that scroll important to you?"

Shirley looked at Mark beside her and asked curiously. Mark shook his head and said softly, "I don't care about the contents inside. I mainly just want to come here and take a stroll."

Shirley nodded thoughtfully, and half an hour later the two returned to the town and began to search for the little boy along the houses.

After walking around without seeing each other, the two of them planned to go to a restaurant on the island to fill their stomachs.

When passing by a small forest, there was a sound of fighting.

"Quick! Catch that little fat guy, I'm going to kick his ass hard."

Hearing this childish voice, the two of them didn't take it seriously. It was normal for children to play and play.

"Let me go! Let me go!"

Mark paused and Shirley, who was following behind him, bumped into Mark's back. After carefully recalling the voice just now, he realized that it was the little fat man he was looking for. Mark nodded to Shirley and walked into the woods first.

Two little boys on the grass were hugging the little fat man's left and right hands, and their legs were wrapped around the little fat man's left and right feet, fixing him to the ground.

Another little boy was kicking the little fat man's butt with his right foot, shouting, "How do you like it? Do you accept it?"

"I don't accept it! If we can, let's challenge each other!"

The little fat man scratched his neck and his voice was full of anger. Mark yelled at several little boys, "What are you doing! Stop it!"

Several little boys turned around to see who it was, and when they turned around they saw Mark's scarred face.

The little boys screamed devil, left the little fat man and headed towards the woods. Mark walked up to the little fat man and stretched out his right hand to give him a hand.

"Huh? It's you!"

Seeing that the person coming was Mark, the little fat man's whole face became ugly. He slapped away the hand that Mark offered and stood up on his own.

"Oh? You're quite arrogant, call me brother"

"brother"

The little fat man happily put a hundred Baileys into his pocket, with a smile on his face. He didn't look angry at all.

The corner of Mark's mouth curled up slightly. The sample can't cure you anymore. He took out a hundred Baileys from his arms again and waved it in front of the little fat man. Before Mark could say anything, the little fat man shouted excitedly, "Brother! Brother! Brother!"

Mark showed a smile as if his plan had succeeded. Under the excited eyes of the little fat man, he put one hundred Baileys into his pocket.

"How could you do this! I even called you brother!"

The little fat man grabbed Mark's hand, his face full of anger and unwillingness. Mark gently shook off the little fat man's hand and said unhurriedly

"I didn't ask you to call me brother. I just took out this hundred Baileys to bask in the sun. Is there any problem with this?"

Mark looked at the little fat man with a playful look on his face. Seeing that the other person's face changed from angry to disappointed, the little fat man stamped his feet angrily and was about to leave. Mark once again took out the hundred Baileys and shouted at the little fat man's back.

"Hey! The little guy calls me handsome guy."

The little fat man quickly ran back to Mark, reached out and took the hundred Baileys, and said with some trepidation, "You have to pay extra for this..."

"Pfft~hahahaha"

Shirley on the side couldn't help laughing. Mark turned around and glared at her. Shirley turned around and covered her mouth consciously, her shoulders rising and falling.

Mark felt that his happiness suddenly disappeared, and the look in his eyes at the little fat man was not as friendly as before. He was about to reach out and take back his Bailey.

I saw the little fat man covering Bailey and running away, the fat on his face shaking up and down.

The little fat man ran five meters with all his strength, then panted while looking back to see if Mark had caught up.

Seeing how hard the other party worked, Mark was not prepared to ask for his [-] Baileys back, so he regarded it as compensation to the other party.

After waving to the little fat man, Mark took Shirley out of the woods and back to the path they came from.

"Hey, that's enough, are you still laughing?"

Mark looked unhappily at Shirley, who had been snickering, and saw that Mark seemed a little angry.

Shirley stuck out her tongue in embarrassment and asked casually, "Suddenly I feel that you are so childish sometimes. How old are you this year?"

"14"

Mark replied casually, and Shirley looked at Mark, who was half a head taller than her, with some confusion.

"I thought you were twenty, hey, I'm seventeen this year, please call me sister."

Mark rolled his eyes and ignored the repeater nearby. Seeing this, Shirley stopped asking Mark to call her sister.

"That barbecue restaurant smells delicious! Let's go to that restaurant."

Shirley pointed at a barbecue restaurant and jumped up and down, dragging Mark towards the barbecue restaurant.

Feeling the huge force coming from his arm, Mark felt a little headache. This guy usually looked soft and easy to bully, but once his emotions fluctuated too much, he would turn into a humanoid tyrannosaurus.

Mark tried to resist just now, but found that he was completely unable to shake the opponent.

"Rice, meat, meat! The boss is bringing you barbecue for 300 people."

Shirley waved to her boss, her eyes filled with joy

"You only order 300 barbecues for the two of us?"

Mark's tone was full of doubts. Shirley patted her head and said apologetically, "Sorry! I forgot about you..."

Then he turned around and shouted to the boss who was stunned on the spot, "Another 300 people."

Mark sat in his seat with a dark look on his face, silently labeling Shirley a foodie in his heart.

Playing with the tea cup in her hand a little boredly, Shirley would look back at the kitchen from time to time, and suddenly Mark's peripheral vision glanced at the menu.

The tea he just drank almost didn't spit out. After reaching for the menu and looking at it carefully, Mark poked Shirley's arm with his chopsticks.

"what?"

Seeing Shirley looking a little unhappy, Mark handed over the menu in his hand. Shirley picked up the tea cup and took a sip of water, then casually took the menu and read it.

"Pfft~"

Mark wiped the tea on his face with a tissue and looked at the stunned girl opposite him with some speechlessness.

"Is this a black shop? Beef costs three thousand beli per person!"

There was an angry look on Shirley's face. She squeezed her fist in her right hand again and again, as if she was about to explode and overturn the table in the next second.

"How about we return the barbecue?"

The next second, Shirley turned back into the timid girl again and looked at Mark weakly.

"Guest, please use your BBQ for 100 people slowly. We will prepare the rest for you as soon as possible."

The boss has a bright smile on his face. You must know that his barbecue is not cheap. The beef costs 600 beli per person, and the other party charges [-] people for it.

This was almost his share of the day. Shirley had a slumped face and was a little unhappy.

Mark didn't have any psychological burden. He picked up the barbecue and started eating. Shirley, who was still angry at first, couldn't help it when she saw how delicious Mark was eating.

"How many Belial do we have?"

"About 50..."

Mark replied casually and continued to stuff barbecue into his mouth. Shirley calculated in her mind and realized that this little money was not enough to pay for the meal. She couldn't help but kick Mark.

"what?"

Mark, who was engrossed in eating, raised his head with some dissatisfaction. Shirley stood up and slowly approached Mark and whispered.

"We don't have enough money to pay for food. What will we do later?"

"Let's talk about what we are waiting for later. Fill up your stomach first. Only when you are full can you have the strength to think about problems."

After Mark finished speaking, before Shirley could continue to ask questions, he stuffed a piece of barbecue into the other person's mouth.

Shirley, who originally wanted to continue asking, suddenly burst into a smile. She covered her cheeks with her hands and said happily, "Is this what barbecue tastes like? It's so delicious!!!"

Shirley instantly felt that Mark was right. Only when you are full can you have the strength to think about problems. At worst, Mark will stay to wash the dishes and pay the bills.

By the time she came to her senses, Mark had already eaten the last plate of barbecue. Shirley blinked her big eyes and looked at Mark in disbelief.

He came to Mark's side in an instant, grabbed him by the collar, lifted him up and shook him wildly, "Spit out! Spit out the barbecue!!"

"Behind...behind"

Mark struggled hard while pointing his finger behind him. Shirley looked back and found her boss standing there with a blank expression on his face, as if he had seen something shocking.

Shirley regained consciousness instantly and loosened her hands. Mark landed firmly on the ground and straightened out his messy collar.

"Um...guests, please use it slowly."

The boss quickly put down the barbecue, turned around and ran away. His weight of two hundred pounds made him feel as if he had run out of one hundred pounds.

Shirley lowered her head shyly and was about to admit her mistake when she saw Mark already sitting down and eating.

Shirley pursed her lips and swallowed her apology. She quickly returned to her seat and started fighting for the barbecue on the table.

Two hours later, the plates piled up around the dining table had surrounded the two of them. Mark took out a toothpick to pick his teeth, and Shirley leaned back on the chair without any image, with a satisfied smile on her face.

"Would you like some excitement?"

Mark raised his eyebrows at Shirley with an obscene look on his face. Shirley blushed and said sheepishly, "Are you here? It's not very good..."

"Um...what are you thinking about? I mean eating King's meal"

Mark looked at Shirley with a speechless face. What was the little girl thinking about all day long? Shirley was so ashamed and angry that she wanted to dig out a villa with her toes.

But in order not to embarrass himself in front of Mark, he could only pretend to be calm and said, "I think this is very immoral. I really don't know what you are thinking about. It's the scar on your face that only dogs are attracted to you."

"Why are you attacking me personally? Let's just play around and don't make fun of my scar."

Mark looked at Shirley with an unkind expression. Shirley, who knew that he had said the wrong thing, quickly lowered his head and said sheepishly, "Sorry..."

"Hey! You must have been frightened by me. Scar is so handsome. He has his own aura to intimidate the enemy."

Seeing Mark caressing his scar with a playful smile, Shirley rolled her eyes and secretly cursed herself for being stupid. How could a fool like Mark care about what others said about the scar on his face?
