From Karma Taj to Hogwarts

Chapter 75 The grand feast after the disaster

"What did mother tell you?" Seeing Xiwen walking out from behind the smooth door, Helena went up to him and asked curiously.

"Nothing." Xiwen smiled softly and took the initiative to hold Helena's right hand. "Hogwarts is particularly lively tonight, why don't we go for a walk together?"

Helena glanced at him, with a brisk smile on her lips.

……

November 1937, 11, Halloween.

It was night, and there were a few stars scattered in the sky, looming in the clouds. In the night, the dark blue clouds looked very thick, as if they had not yet broken away from the Halloween atmosphere of welcoming ghosts and monsters.

Occasionally, the wind blows away the clouds, revealing a slender crescent moon, just like Helena's crescent eyebrows when she smiles.

Xiven and Helena walked hand in hand over the castle, admiring the charming night view.

"It's really rare to see so many lights on in Hogwarts late at night." Helena said with emotion as she floated on the top of the astronomy tower.

The Astronomy Tower is the tallest tower in this building complex. From the top of the tower, you overlook the main tower of the castle in front. Its colorful lights are extremely bright, reflected in the lake below the mountain, and broken into sparkling waves.

It was already curfew time, but few lights in the castle were turned off. The young wizards were freely celebrating the resumption of Hogwarts operations. Many of them were bragging to others about their performance in this incident. Show your bravery, or brag about how much you have contributed to repairing the castle.

When Principal Dippet saw this situation, he relented for the first time and deliberately relaxed the curfew for this night to allow the little wizards to indulge a little longer. The cheers in the castle spread far away, and even Xiven and Helena who were staying at the top of the astronomy tower could hear them clearly.

Listening to the cheerful voices of the little wizards, Xiwen and Helena looked at each other and laughed knowingly.

……

However, the happy time is always short-lived, and the two people's alone time did not last long before they were interrupted by a little fat ghost.

"Mr. Strange, I finally found you!" Little fat man Edmund Grubb slipped up from nowhere and looked at Ghost Sivan with a flattering look on his face. "A group of us ghosts got together and discussed it, and we felt that such an important day should be held with a banquet to be worthy of the restoration of this castle!"

"No, everything else is ready, only some food is missing. So I took on this difficult task and asked you to go to the Ghost Hall to cast a small spell..."

"It's because you're greedy..." Xiwen saw through Grubb's trick at a glance and exposed him ruthlessly.

"Haha, ha... There is a part of this reason, but overall I still adhere to the principle of serving the ghost public to invite you over!" Grubb smiled shyly, and then said with a righteous expression. The second half of the story came out.

"Phew!" Seeing Grubb's funny behavior, Helena couldn't help but laugh, and didn't care much about him interrupting the two of them's alone time.

She smiled crookedly and said to Xiwen: "Then let's go there and don't keep everyone waiting too long. I just happen to be a little greedy too!"

"Then let's go!" Xiwen smiled briskly.

It is undoubtedly a long journey from the top of the Astronomy Tower, the highest place in the entire castle, to the Ghost Hall underground. However, the special physique of the ghosts was too convenient. The three ghosts walked all the way through the wall and into the ground, walked in a straight line, and soon reached the ghost hall.

Nearly headless Nick spotted them first and greeted them enthusiastically.

"Ah, Doctor Strange, welcome!" Nicholas said. "I have heard from the vice principal that you were wrongly accused. I must first congratulate you for redressing your injustice!"

Xiven smiled and replied politely: "Thank you, Sir Nicholas."

"Actually, there is one more thing I want to congratulate you on." Nicholas continued. "Principal Dippet and Vice-Principal Mellors jointly vouched for you to join the Ghost Parliament. After our internal vote, we unanimously approved you to become one of us!"

"Thank you very much for that." Xiwen didn't care too much about the position of the congressman, but he was a little curious about another thing.

"Where's the Bloody Barrow? Does he also agree with me to join you?" Xiwen asked suspiciously. He always felt that the relationship between the two had been completely forged, and he even snatched Barrow's knife. This Bloody Barrow shouldn't seem to be so easy to compromise, right?

"Oh, Barrow. He resigned from his position as a member of the Ghost Parliament after making a mistake yesterday, and is now reflecting in an abandoned classroom!" Barrow said with some emotion.

Xiven nodded, looked at Helena, and asked, "Where's Helena? Aren't you a member of the parliament?"

"I'm usually too lazy to attend their boring meetings." Helena curled her lips and said. "Maybe they have excluded me!"

Hearing her words, Nicholas panicked for a moment and said quickly: "Ahem...Ms. Grey, don't talk nonsense. How could we exclude you? But according to your relationship with Dr. Strange, There will definitely be a vote in favor! So we will automatically calculate it as a unanimous vote."

"That's pretty much it." Helena nodded with satisfaction.

"Okay, I'd better open the mirror space first. I think Grubb can't wait!" Xiwen laughed.

There seemed to be countless ripples composed of transparent mirrors that swept through the ghost hall, and all the ghosts were pulled into the mirror space.

Even though the ghosts present had the experience of restoring their senses, a look of surprise still appeared on their faces instantly. The only difference from last time was that few people were so excited that they burst into tears.

Xiwen silently thought about the dishes for yesterday's Halloween dinner, and activated the space rules. Countless exquisite dishes appeared out of thin air on the long table in the ghost hall, making Grub's mouth water.

The fat monk stood cheerfully in the middle of the hall, raised a glass of wine from the table, and said loudly: "Here's to Mr. Strange!"

Although it may be because he hasn't drank wine for too long, or it may be because social etiquette has changed with the development of the times, his demeanor is a bit nondescript. But the ghosts were very considerate, and picked up the goblet on the table with even more strange postures, and said in unison: "Here's to Mr. Strange!"

Sivan smiled and conjured two glasses of crystal clear wine for himself and Helena. He picked up the goblet and responded to the ghosts using the orthodox aristocratic etiquette of the magical world that Sandrine had taught him.

All the ghosts raised their heads and drank these drinks which only had taste but could not make the ghost drunk.

"So are little wizards still allowed to drink at the Halloween dinner?" After finishing a drink, Helena smiled and asked Xiwen's ear.

Xiwen chuckled, understanding that Helena had guessed his little trick of creating dishes out of thin air.

"Of course these wines belong to professors!"
