From Karma Taj to Hogwarts

Chapter 108 Christmas Vacation Ends

After Xiwen returned home, he immediately snapped his fingers and prepared to ask Milly to bring the news of his return to Sandrine.

However, all he got in response was a gust of cold wind, which made him shiver.

Xiwen was stunned for a moment and walked into the attic in the courtyard. It was warmer in the attic than outside, but it could still be seen that the fire in the fireplace had been out for a while, and Sandrine and Milly must have gone out.

"No way..." Xiwen thought of a possibility and the corner of his mouth twitched.

He opened a portal that led to the deserted alley next to King's Cross station.

Sivan stepped out of the circle of light and immediately saw the wide-eyed house elf Milly.

"Master Xiwen?!" Milly looked at Xiwen who walked out of the circle with disbelief and screamed.

"Shh-" Xiwen raised a finger and glanced at the Muggles passing by outside the alley, signaling Milly to quiet down.

"Milly, I'm going to find Sandrine now. Can you stay here for a while?" Sivan said to Milly.

After Milly nodded, Sivan walked straight into King's Cross Station.

He walked towards the middle of the seventh and eighth platforms, and sure enough he saw Sandrine standing at the partition wall at the exit of platform seven and one-half, waiting.

Sandrine looked at the partition wall quietly, her eyes so focused that she didn't even notice Xiwen approaching.

"Good evening, mom!" Xiwen patted her arm and said softly.

Sandrine glanced at Xiwen beside her in surprise, then subconsciously looked at the partition wall hiding the platform, showing a suspicious expression.

"Aren't you on the European Magic Star train?" she asked.

"Well, to tell you the truth. I actually used a new mode of transportation." Xiwen smiled awkwardly and said to Sandrine.

"Let's go make peace with Milly first!" Before Sandrine could ask any questions, Xiven quickly changed the subject and pulled her out of King's Cross Station.

Sandrine gave Xiwen a funny look, followed him to the alley where Milly was without asking any more questions.

"Now can you tell me what new mode of transportation you used?" After arriving at this rarely visited alley, she looked at Xiwen with a half-smile and asked.

Xiwen coughed twice and summoned the dimensional gate again. The entire alley was brightened by its golden light.

Sandrine's face showed a look of surprise at the right time, and Milly next to her even exclaimed.

"Can this circle lead directly to home?" Looking at the Rozier family attic within the circle of light, Sandrine curiously circled around the dimensional door and asked. "And why is this side of the circle directly connected to the courtyard, but the other side looks empty?"

Sivan's eyes twitched as he watched Sandrine poke her slender index finger at the back of the dimensional door.

"I'm not sure, I'm only responsible for learning how to use it..." Xiwen said helplessly. "And this spell has a very high-end name. It's called Dimensional Gate. Just calling it the circle seems to have dropped several levels of style..."

Sandrine didn't pay attention to Xiwen's protest at all, and poked the back of the dimensional door. She felt a repulsive force, and then her index finger was repulsed.

"How amazing!" Sandrine exclaimed.

Suddenly, as the distant sun completely set behind the horizon, the whole world became dim, and the street lights on the street lit up one after another.

In the dim alley without a trace of light, the golden light of the Dimension Gate became a bit abrupt. Muggles from afar already have the tendency to come here to see what's going on.

"Nebulus."

Sandrine uttered a spell, and a steady stream of mist spat out from the tip of her wand, filling the entire alley.

"Son, you still don't have enough experience!" Sandrine smiled at Xiwen. "You'll be in trouble if Muggles see your circle."

Xiwen listened to Sandrine say "circle" again, and nodded with twitching corners of his mouth.

"Why are you still standing there? Why don't you hurry back home?" Sandrine had already stepped into the circle of light first and greeted Xiwen.

"Oh, okay!" Xiwen responded quickly and pulled Milly into the circle... No, it was inside the dimensional gate.

"Cloud Curse Withdrawal (MeteolojinxRecanto)."

Before Sivan closed the dimensional door, Sandrine withdrew the clouds in the alley at the same time.

Everything is at peace.

……

The next day was also the day the Hogwarts Express departed.

Xiwen sat lazily by the pond under the fountain and sighed.

"Oh, I can obviously teleport directly back to the castle, but I have to stay on the train for six hours..."

After trying it, Sivan determined that he could directly open the dimensional door to Hogwarts Castle.

Although the Hogwarts castle was equipped with many magics such as Masking Spell and Disguising Spell when it was established, to protect the castle from discovery and intrusion by foreign enemies. Its scope is even covered with anti-phantom manifestation and transformation spells over a large area.

But the Dimension Gate belongs to the magic of another world, and there has never been a counter-spell specifically aimed at it here. As for the shielding spell and the camouflage spell, it is not a problem. After all, Xiwen's soul body stays in the castle, acting as an accurate coordinate for the little wizard Xiwen!

It was a pity that it would be too suspicious to arrive at Hogwarts Castle directly without getting on the train, so Xiven had to continue taking the Hogwarts Express, which took six hours to drive to the castle.

Just when Xiwen sighed, the house elf Millie appeared next to Xiwen with a "bang".

"Master Sivan, Madam asked me to tell you it's almost time!" Milly said in the sharp voice unique to house elves.

"I understand." Xiwen nodded and followed Milly to the living room.

Sandrine was already dressed and waiting there.

"Have you brought everything?" she asked.

"They're all here!" Xiwen smiled and pointed at the pocket watch that had been secretly expanded using the Traceless Stretching Charm at Flamel's house.

"Then let's set off!" Sandrine laughed.

The conscientious house elf Milly looked at Sivan and Sandrine who stepped into the golden circle of light. She felt that her job had been taken away and she stood there with some depression.

"Milly, you have to take care of your home at home!" Before the aperture closed, Xiwen's voice came from inside.

Milly immediately perked up and nodded excitedly.

……

Sivan and Sandrine once again walked out of the alley last night and entered King's Cross Station.

After passing through the partition wall hiding the entrance, Xiven said goodbye to Sandrine who came to see her off on platform nine and three-quarters, and walked into the express train alone.

The train was full of chattering little wizards. They were discussing animatedly the gifts they had received at Christmas, the homework they had not finished during the holidays, and the courses they would take next semester...

Xiwen, however, had no intention of chatting. He passed by various crowded carriages in boredom, found an empty box and sat in it.

Then, he took out a notebook from the pocket watch space and wanted to read it quietly for a while.

Just when he turned the first page, the box door was pushed open. A little witch with silver hair and a cold face walked in.

"I thought you were in the basement of the castle right now," she began.

Xiwen raised his head in surprise and saw a pair of strange silver eyes.
