Chapter 21: The other world

After Arthur came out of the library, he went to the school hospital again, but this time Madam Pomfrey did not let him in again, nor did she reveal anything about the reason for their drowsiness.

On his way back to the common room, he met Clydia Burst.

The other party threw him a note with a cold face and left without saying a word.

Arthur curled his lips, as long as you don't mess with me, I won't bother to mess with you.

He unfolded the note and wrote something on it:

Mr. Curry, you have been punished and detained for the fight that occurred in the restaurant at noon today.Since I have just arrived and my work is relatively busy, the confinement period is tentatively scheduled for two weeks. The specific time and location will be notified separately. ——Defence Against the Dark Arts, Professor Odense Barebone.

After Arthur read it, the note automatically flew into the air and burned to ashes.

Two weeks later... It was probably not because of busy work, but because of the incidents of those students falling asleep. He thought that as a professor of Defense Against Dark Arts, he must actively deal with it.

Arthur sighed, then returned to the dormitory, lying on the bed and entering the spiritual world.

He discovered that the spiritual spell consisted of nineteen lines in total, and in the tower, there were also nineteen steps leading to the upper level.

It means that he can now climb the third step.

Arthur observed the hall of the 'Holy Knights' through the portrait again in the spiritual world. It was the same as last time, there was no change, it was still dark.

Only this time he saw further portraits on the wall, such as... a lion, a snake, an eagle and a badger!

It's really arrogant, the Big Four don't hide it at all, but they do have the confidence.

So how many members are there left here?

Who is the member represented by each portrait?

Since there is no way to get the ring again after losing it, why are they still looking for themselves?

Arthur felt like everything was shrouded in a shadow, and no matter how hard he peeked, he couldn't see it.

Moreover, Arthur suspected that some people he knew well in the real world might be members of the 'Holy Knights'!For example, Nico Flamel, who deliberately revealed his identity before.

Why did he deliberately tell me his identity?Want me to deliver it to your door?

When I first saw him in the hall, his threats now seemed more like warnings!

What is he trying to do?

Arthur had a headache. Since Nico Flamel once had the ring, what about Dumbledore?Did this headmaster of Hogwarts, who possesses powerful magic and is respected by everyone in the wizarding world, also get a ring?

And Grindelwald and Voldemort!

Could it be that these great demon kings who once caused a bloody storm in the wizarding world never owned rings?

Arthur sighed. He looked at the corridor on the first floor of the tower, the entrance to the hall of the Holy Knights, and the mysterious black hole vortex.

From the first time Arthur stepped there, he seemed to have stepped into a bottomless quagmire.

But now there is no other way but to improve the strength as soon as possible. During this period, one must remain steady and not do anything to attract attention.

Arthur held his breath and continued to meditate.

It wasn't until late in the evening that someone came in and woke him up.

"Arthur, someone is looking for you outside."

The person who spoke was a classmate in the dormitory next door. Arthur couldn't remember his name, but it didn't matter. He asked, "Who is it? Cedric?"

"It's a girl, she seems to be a Ravenclaw."

"okay, thank you."

Arthur thanked him, it should be Nesta, but why is she looking for me at this time?

He walked out of the dormitory and came outside the common room, where he saw Nesta carrying a shoulder bag standing next to the big wooden barrel.

"Nesta?" Arthur shouted.

"Arthur, didn't you have dinner tonight? I didn't see you in the restaurant." Nesta pursed her lips and said.

"Well... I was sleeping before," Arthur scratched his hair, "It seems like time has passed."

Nesta glanced at him and took out a ham bun, chicken legs and pumpkin pie from her backpack.

"Fortunately, I brought it for you." She said with a smile.

Arthur quickly took it and said, "Thank you so much, Nesta!"

"It's okay," Nesta said, showing a worried look again, "Are you okay today? I heard about your roommate..."

"I'm fine, don't worry, Nesta." Arthur smiled, "Except for the fight at noon today, I'm fine."

Nesta glanced at him angrily and said quietly: "Yes, I heard that you also tore Clydia Bursted's robe."

"Em... I really didn't mean it!" Arthur looked a little embarrassed, and he quickly changed the topic, "By the way, Nesta, what are the homework for today's Transfiguration and Potions classes?"

"You didn't even remember your homework clearly, right?" Nesta opened her mouth and said in surprise, "You have to check it tomorrow!"

"Well...I was worried about my roommate at the time, so..." Arthur explained without confidence.

Nesta nodded and said, "No wonder you keep distracted in class, then you must not be paying attention."

She rummaged through her bag again, and Arthur felt that her bag seemed to contain a lot of things...

"Here you go." Nesta pulled out two rolls of parchment and handed them to him.

Arthur took it and found that it was the homework for Transfiguration and Potions. He was surprised and said, "Have you finished them all?"

"Well, it's actually very simple. It's all in the textbook, and you just need to add your own understanding." Nesta lowered her voice and said, "Don't copy exactly the same thing, the professors will find out!"

"Thank you so much, Nesta! You are simply an angel!" Arthur excitedly wanted to pick her up and spin her around.

Nesta's face suddenly turned red again, and her voice was as low as a mosquito's and she said, "Just remember to return it to me at breakfast tomorrow."

"No problem!" Arthur looked at the shy girl in front of him and narrowed his eyes with laughter.

"By the way, you must be careful during this period. Don't go out after nine o'clock in the evening." Nesta seemed to have thought of something and hurriedly reminded her.

"You told me this morning, what happened? Can you tell me?" Arthur asked tentatively.

Nesta hesitated, looked around, and whispered, "Do you know the 'other world'?"

"The other world?!" Arthur frowned.

"It's a world that lies under the iceberg of the wizarding world and is inaccessible to ordinary people." Nesta explained, "My aunt sent me a letter this morning to remind me to be careful during this period. She didn't say why, but I guess it may be people from the 'other world' taking action."

Arthur's eyes condensed, and he instantly thought of the 'Holy Knights Society'!

"Do you know more about the 'other world'?" Arthur asked in a normal tone.

Nesta shook her head and said, "Although many pure-blood families know the existence of the 'other world', they don't mention it deliberately. I only found out about this when I occasionally overheard my aunt talking to others."

Then, she took a subtle breath and said, "I only know that those people in the 'other world' seem to be looking for something all the time!"
