Blood Elf Prince of Warcraft

Chapter 219: The Cruel Rain Warms the Elf King

The arrow hit the orc commander's chest, shattering the beating heart.

When Alleria put down the bow in her hand, the cold wind blew across the entire snowfield with the smell of blood, and the battle that lasted for a day came to an end.

She was not tired at all, her eyes were full of energy, and she still had the leisure to enjoy the evening sunshine.

This was a rare victory. The Alliance withstood the attack launched by the Horde. According to usual practice, the Horde would gather soldiers to gain momentum in the next two days and would not launch another battle.

There is nothing better than using this war to greet their prince.

Alleria raised her mouth slightly:

"Let's go back."

She gave the order to leave the human troops behind and lead the elves back towards the camp.

"Finally I can rest for two days."

Her familiar subordinate Lecter rode a chocobo and followed Alleria, saying happily.

"I feel like I've been resting."

Alleria disagreed:

"That group of humans protected us so well that we didn't even have a chance to move around."

In the war here, the elves have been placed in safe areas to provide firepower for humans. Until now, no orcs have been able to break through the human defense lines.

Although this reduced losses, Alleria didn't like this fighting method at all.During her hundreds of years, most of the time she took the lead, leading her teammates to fight directly against the enemy.

Alleria was a natural ranger. She loved the excitement of running in the forest, jumping on the tops of trees, and fighting trolls with swords and daggers.Standing in one place and simply attacking with bows and arrows made her feel very boring.

"Lady Alleria, although I agree with your words, I prefer to maintain the current state."

Lecter smiled bitterly from the bottom of his heart. Not every elf is as powerful as Alleria and has no fear. For others, life is all that matters:

"Furthermore, this is also the right that His Highness the Prince has fought for for us. We must abide by his instructions."

"I'm just talking casually."

Alleria smiled, she also understood that safety was the most important thing.

When the elves returned to the camp through the icy snowfield, Kael'thas also came out of the command post with Solanlian.

They saw this group of returning elves.

Alleria let the elves go to rest, rode her chocobo, and came to Kael'thas.

"Welcome here."

She looked at the clothes Kael'thas was wearing, glanced at Solanlian with bright eyes, and then praised:

"This dress suits you perfectly. Your Highness."

Kael'thas smiled:

"I think so too."

"Alleria, judging from your expression, you must have won the battle, right?"

He could roughly tell the result of today's victory from his expression.

"Yes. Your Highness may come here to rest for a day."

Alleria nodded, then looked at the cave where Kael'thas left, and said:

"I'll go in first and report back to Lord Lothar. Your Highnesses, please go back to the elf camp first."

After she finished speaking, she walked into the cave.

"Let's wait for her."

Just reporting on the battle situation. It won't be long, Kael'thas thought for a while but made no move.

He and Solanlian waited outside for three minutes when they saw Alleria walking out with an impatient look on her face.

Just by looking at this look on his face, Kael'thas knew that she and Turalyon had no hope.

"Um? Are you waiting for me?"

Alleria was a little surprised to see that Kael'thas and the two didn't leave.

"It's too cold here. We'd better go back early."

A look of joy appeared on her face, and she led the two of them to the camp.

They passed through a small clump of woods and looked down into the mountains.Several shallower caves.

"The female elves live there, and the male elves live here."

Solanlian pointed to both sides and introduced Kael'thas, but Kael'thas's mind was not here.

"Aren't there going to be avalanches here?"

He looked up at the snow covering the mountains, feeling a little worried about his safety.

"Don't worry, Your Highness. The mages have set up stable magic all around. Even if there is an avalanche, it will not have an impact on this place."

Alleria opened her mouth to explain.

Kael'thas was relieved.

"Are men and women separated?"

He looked at the distance between several caves and agreed with this method in his heart, but the elves distributed in this way were very inconvenient for command.

"Our command post is in the middle."

Solanlian responded to his uneasiness. She pointed to a small hidden cave in the middle and said:

"This way there will be no obstacles to commanding."

That small cave was previously inhabited by Solanlian and Alleria, and now there may be a few more people.

Sure enough, when Kael'thas and the others entered the cave, they found Mephitus and the two little girls inside. The baron, who was proficient in the art of fear, was still hiding among the male elves.

"Is she not back yet?"

Kael'thas asked. Of course Mephitus knew who he was asking. Onyxia would never honestly stay among the female elves as female elves.

"I didn't feel her breath, she should still be somewhere else."

The old mage didn't take it seriously. He looked up at Solanlian and Alleria, making the two elves a little nervous.

"The elves are all back. I've observed the situation and you've done a good job these days."

Rarely, Mephitus actually started to praise others.

"You are overrated."

The two commanders immediately returned the greeting.

"Today's battle was won. You should be able to rest for a while."

"At least we won't be attacked tonight."

Alleria said, she turned and looked at Solanlian:

"You don't have to go to change shifts either."

Solanlian nodded:

"I see."

"Then I'll let the elves capture the animals and prepare a sumptuous dinner for everyone to relax."

"By the way, we are also welcoming the arrival of His Highness and Lord Mephitus."

Seeing that no one else objected, she turned her gaze to Liadrin:

"Pastor, come with me."

Liadrin was stunned.

"okay."

She followed Solanlian's footsteps and walked outside.

"Do they have a good relationship?"

Alleria asked a little strangely. She has never seen Solanlian invite someone so proactively. Solanlian can arrange small things like preparing a dinner by herself.

"It should be good."

Kael'thas recalled that the two girls had known each other for so many years. Apart from the initial confrontation, they became obviously much friendly later on.

He didn't find this behavior weird.

Only Valera, who was expressionless, guessed in her mind that Solanlian must have something to ask Liadrin.

This is also true. Solanlian wants to investigate what happened recently in Kael'thas. Of all the people chosen, Liadrin is undoubtedly the best choice.Because she's better at lying. It’s also the easiest to speak.

After a brief inquiry, Liadrin told almost everything about Kael'thas' recent events.

"A human knight princess?"

Solanlian sharply saw the most prominent events in these days.

The relationship between that human princess and their prince.Very confusing. And in the fate that Solanlian observed, there was no human princess that would have a huge impact on Kael'thas' life.

"Do you know the origin of that human princess?"

While arranging the work of her subordinates, she continued to ask Liadrin.

"I'm not sure, but she seems to be the princess of the Kingdom of Lordaeron next door to us, and she has a paladin mentor who is a legendary professional."

Although Liadrin is also very interested in Kaliya. But she didn't have much information.

However, such simple information was enough, and Solanlian had already guessed who it was.

That human princess must be the girl she met at the harbor in the wetland.

Solanlian could see the color in that girl at that time. She might have a deep relationship with Kael'thas, but it would not affect Kael'thas's entire life choices.

This human princess is irrelevant to Solanlian.

"However. Maybe I'm overthinking it. The relationship between the princess and His Highness shouldn't be that deep.'

Liadrin changed her mind and didn't mind too much:

"Your Highness is so kind. He is good to all humans."

After all, elves and humans are different races, and Liadrin didn't believe that Kael'thas would really like a human.

"Is Your Highness kind?"

Solanlia was noncommittal: "Is this how you feel?"

"Hey!? Isn't it? Your Highness' attitude towards humans is much more polite than ours, and doesn't participating in this war prove this?"

Liadrin said matter-of-factly.

"Little priest, if you can only see His Highness's kindness, you will have no hope in this life."

Solanlian glanced at Liadrin with some sympathy:

"His Highness is born with the qualifications to be a king. The reason why he is kind is not because he is kind, but because he chooses to be kind."

"Even humans. His Highness treats them with this attitude because of interests."

"Maybe even His Highness didn't realize that he looked at humans and orcs the same way, but because of necessity, he used two completely different attitudes to treat them."

Solanlian discovered very early that whether they were trolls, dwarves, humans, or even orcs, Kael'thas looked at them all the same.

His greatest qualification is that Kael'thas treats all life except elves on the same level, without discrimination or preference.

No one knows that this prince is an outsider. Except for the elves and demons who gave birth to him, all other races are irrelevant in his eyes.

And just as Solanlian said, in the history books of later generations, no book will simply describe the third generation of the Sun King as kind.

Ironically, historians tend to conclude that this Elf King was kind in nature based on his performance in his childhood and during the Orc Wars. It was only after time that he became tough and indifferent.

This is the cruelest king and the warmest king. (To be continued)RQ
