[HP] Being a problem student at Hogwarts
Chapter 33 Professor Quirrell
Led by Fred and George, they quickly went straight to Harry's location through various secret passages and shortcuts, praying anxiously along the way that the stubborn little lion would not run back into a trap again.
Fortunately, when they were confirming Harry's location midway, they saw that Professor Snape had walked out of the Defense Against the Dark Arts office, and not long after walking, a little tail named "Harry Potter" fell on him.
"Great," Hermione cried, "Harry must have realized something was wrong, and he is following Professor Snape now. He is safe."
"Uh..." Tom smiled awkwardly.
Harry was safe "in a sense" but he would soon see the wrath of his teachers.
They ran into Professor Snape head-on. From a distance, they saw Snape's expressionless face, and the magical aura rolling around him had a chilling flavor.
Snape took a quick glance and found that Harry Potter was not among them. His face suddenly turned even darker. Before he could say anything, the children shouted behind him:
"Harry!"
Snape froze. He slowly turned around and saw a head with messy black hair slowly appearing in the empty corridor behind him, then his body was revealed, and finally Harry's whole body was revealed, with his head downcast and his hands Holding a shining silver invisibility cloak.
"Potter." Snape called him softly, dragging out each word as if he was chewing it carefully and swallowing it.
"Professor..." Harry's eyes were evasive, not daring to look directly at Snape.
"You scared us to death!" Tom rushed up and patted Harry hard on the shoulder, "Professor Snape is looking for you everywhere -"
Harry's face became even more ashamed. He mustered up the courage to look at Snape and said, "Professor, thank you. Thank you for your hard work."
Snape snorted coldly: "The famous savior doesn't have to feel so good about himself, thinking that everyone should surround him——"
"I know that the professor would be so concerned if other students were missing." Harry said seriously, "I'm sorry for making you worry."
Snape's face became very strange. He flicked his robe and gave a final warning: "Don't appear casually in places where you shouldn't be, stretching your neck to show your unnecessary presence - unless you want to that night Just pick up your luggage and leave the school.”
He stormed off.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw him walking away.
"Thank God Snape forgot to take the points off," said Ron.
"Okay, you guys go back to Gryffindor Tower quickly, and remember to tell us what's going on then." George said.
"We have to go find Peeves," Fred put the old parchment back into his pocket cherishingly. "It's hard to owe a debt of gratitude. It's already too late."
The Weasley twins waved to them coolly, opened a secret door disguised as a portrait on the wall, got in and disappeared.
"How nice they are!" said Hermione.
"Their maps are really good," Ron said. "I'm their biological brother! They didn't reveal anything to me before..." He muttered and complained.
Harry had no intention of asking about the map. When he saw that there were only a few of them left, he immediately lowered his voice and said urgently: "We must find Dumbledore!"
He looked at Tom anxiously: "Do you know where the principal's office is?"
"Follow me!" Tom said simply.
Tom led them to the principal's office, and on the way Harry talked about why he didn't wait as promised.
"...I stood there for a while. You know, that's the entrance to the dungeons. There was almost no one else except Slytherin, but there was no one on weekends either." Harry told him, "When I was feeling bored, I saw Professor Quirrell coming in from the hall crying."
"He's been really weird lately. He's lost weight a lot, and his complexion is getting worse day by day. The strange smell on his body is getting stronger and stronger. It seems that besides the smell of garlic, there's something else. I can't tell."
"He was crying so pitifully and kept mumbling. I just wanted to get closer and hear if he needed help." Harry said sympathetically.
"I didn't dare to get too close. I only heard him saying things like 'Master, please' and 'I really can't do it.' Then, something terrible happened."
Harry lowered his voice and said in horror: "Professor Quirrell's turban! A sharp, terrifying sound came from that big turban! I have never heard such a terrifying sound, the sound was like Like the nightmare itself..." Harry shuddered.
"The voice only said 'you must', but Professor Quirrell started trembling and cried with tears all over his face... There must be a big secret hidden in Professor Quirrell's turban! He was being coerced! "
"I followed him, but I felt as if I was being watched. Even though I was wearing an invisibility cloak, I was very careful not to make a sound, but I always felt that there was a vicious sight in Professor Quirrell's turban, patrolling and searching. That one in the turban The thing must have sensed something! It also means that what I found is a very important clue, otherwise the thing would not be so sensitive..."
"I had no choice but to stay far away, hoping that Professor Quirrell would say something else, but I was far away and all I could hear was him saying 'Hagrid' or something like that. When he entered the office, I wanted to sneak in with him. But an ominous premonition stopped me... I tried several times, but as long as I stood at the door, I had an intuition that as long as I walked in, I would be discovered immediately!"
"You were right not to go in," Tom said, sweating over Harry's story. "The person who has been doing evil things to you is Professor Quirrell."
Tom repeated Snape's official rhetoric, and then explained: "Professor Snape said that the teachers who have worked with him for many years are trustworthy, and there is only one newcomer in the school. The teacher is questionable, Professor Quirrell."
"Then why not arrest him immediately?" Ron asked.
"Where's the evidence?" Hermione retorted, "Without evidence, he will be released soon, and then it will be difficult to catch him. But I think what Harry discovered today must be very important!"
"Professor Quirrell may have just been forced," Harry said, "so we have to tell Dumbledore quickly before it's too late to do something for him."
"Maybe he's schizophrenic." Tom guessed. "Another personality is eating him."
"That voice definitely didn't belong to Professor Quirrell. You weren't there and didn't hear it," Harry said with an ugly face. "It's very scary. I would rather hear the sound of the female ghost scratching the coffin board with her fingernails a hundred times than hear that." "7K妏揩
"Perhaps ventriloquism?" Hermione said.
"What the hell is going on, let's leave it to Principal Dumbledore to worry about." Ron said, standing bored and waiting for Tom to test out the password for the principal's office.
