Hogwarts Mystery Sequence
Chapter 74 Dreamland
night.
Harry lay on the bed full of thoughts, unable to close his eyes for a long time.
Professor Trelawney's death prophecy during the day made him completely unable to let go. Even though Professor McGonagall comforted him, he only felt a little better - he was still flustered and could not calm down.
In fact, if it were just Professor Trelawney's prophecy, Harry would not be like this.
Sure, he might still inevitably feel nervous, but that wouldn't make him this anxious.
The real reason why Harry couldn't sleep at night was that he had seen the ferocious black dog that Professor Trelawney said was a harbinger of death more than once.
It appears on the cover of Omen of Death at Flourish and Blotts, and in an alley in Diagon Alley.
Therefore, after Professor Trelawney's uncanny prophecy, these bad memories resurfaced in Harry's mind, and he gradually tended to believe that this was really some kind of omen.
And once there is a tendency, people will unconsciously believe their own reasons, and Harry is undoubtedly the same. The more he thinks about it, the more he feels that he may really be in danger of his life.
Then he began to unconsciously look for more reasons. He thought of Voldemort and Sirius Black, and felt that his danger came from them.
Thinking of this, Harry's stomach contracted tightly and he turned over in pain.
For half the night, he tossed and turned, unable to sleep.
It wasn't until early in the morning that he slowly fell asleep, enveloped by intense sleepiness.
······
In the haze, a chill hit him, and Harry suddenly woke up.
Soon he discovered that there was an endless bright starry sky in front of him.
Harry sat up suddenly, shaking his head slightly and then widening his eyes.
I saw him sitting on a small boat, drifting in an illusory ocean of colors.
Harry immediately lay down on the side of the boat and looked at the water below.
But what he saw was not his own reflection, but fragments of images from his memory.
"Is it beautiful?" Suddenly, a voice seemed to come from a distance.
Harry raised his head and turned to look for the source of the sound.
"Can you sit down?" the voice said again.
This time, the voice seemed to be right next to his ears, and Harry felt it was very familiar.
He sat down according to the instructions of the voice, and then saw a familiar figure at the other end of the boat - Cassandra.
"This is our first official meeting." Cassandra said with a proud smile, "I am Cassandra, Cassandra Worley."
"I'm Harry Potter." Harry replied with an awkward expression.
Kassandra nodded and chuckled after hearing this:
"Of course, no one doesn't know the famous 'Savior'."
"So." Harry looked around, "What the hell is this place?"
"This is your dream, and it is also the dream I weave for you." Cassandra looked around with admiration.
"I heard you were missing," Harry said.
"That's right." Cassandra chuckled, "But I am not passive, but active."
Harry looked confused.
Cassandra said casually:
"Because I found out that Hogwarts is different than I thought."
"I would go crazy if I had to hang out with a bunch of boring guys every day."
"So when 'Hogwarts' approached me, I readily agreed."
"'Hogwarts'?" Harry asked confused.
Cassandra gave him a cold look:
"Seeing as I'm still somewhat interested, I'll only explain it once."
Valley</span>Harry trembled, but still looked at her stubbornly.
"Ha." Cassandra sneered, "Useless courage."
Then she didn't look at Harry's reaction and said to herself:
"You can think of Hogwarts Castle as a conscious being that chooses the right person to sign a mysterious contract, and I am the person it chooses."
"Why you?" Harry couldn't help but question after hearing Cassandra's statement, "There are many powerful wizards in Hogwarts, but why did it choose you? You are just a new student."
"Of course it's because I'm better and more talented." Cassandra crossed her arms over her chest and raised her chin slightly as she said.
"Better than Professor Dumbledore and Voldemort?" Harry disagreed.
"A dying old man and a coward who is afraid of death?" Cassandra smiled lightly.
"Hey, if you say that, why don't you go out and kill Voldemort?" Harry said angrily.
"Why should I do that kind of thankless thing?" Cassandra spread her hands, "It's better for me to sit here and watch them fight, isn't it?"
Harry was very angry when he heard this and waved his hands, but he didn't know what to say.
Upon seeing this, Cassandra chuckled and said:
"Actually, you just need to know that I can help you now."
"I don't need your help anywhere." Harry shook his head decisively.
"Don't refuse in a hurry." Cassandra said nonchalantly.
"Before that, I'm curious about something, Mr. Potter."
"I think you can answer that for me."
Harry tilted his head and looked away from Cassandra.
Faced with this childish approach, Cassandra raised the corners of her mouth slightly and said:
"Why did you choose Gryffindor?"
"Obviously, if you chose Slytherin, you would be better than you are now."
"No, that would only be worse than now." Harry immediately replied with a look of rejection.
"It seems that you have a big misunderstanding about Slytherin and yourself." Cassandra said without changing her expression.
"I don't think I misunderstood," Harry said shortly.
Kassandra was noncommittal and returned to the previous topic:
"Are you really not confused now?"
"The only confusion I have now is Voldemort. If you can solve him, I think I will be very grateful to you." Harry said sarcastically.
In response to Harry's dishonesty and provocation, Cassandra shook her head and clapped her hands.
Suddenly, the illusory ocean under the boat began to boil like boiling water, with colorful bubbles popping up one after another.
These dreamlike bubbles float above the boat and gradually coalesce into one large bubble.
The next second, an image emerged from the large bubble - a huge, ghostly black dog prowling the churchyard.
Harry's eyes widened when he saw this scene. He stood up angrily and shouted:
"Oh, you can't do that, this is my privacy!"
His violent movements rocked the boat and nearly capsized it into the sea.
"Sit down, idiot!" Cassandra shouted, "Otherwise, if you fall, you will never wake up again. Then, don't blame me for not warning you!"
Harry immediately squatted down and clung to the side of the boat. His face turned pale and his lips trembled as he said:
"Didn't you lie to me?"
"You can try." Cassandra said calmly.
